Crab cheese wantons are delicious and that's really what we went for. Lo Mein has decent flavor but could have chicken in it. The make your own hibachi seemed to be closed but maybe we were there too early because by the time we moved to desert, it appeared to be open. It's clean and has lots of seating variety in seating situations. We didn't have a waiter but the gentleman picking up our plates & refilling our water was really attentive. Food was great until Irealized she intentionally over charged me for my kid. She asked how old he was, he is 10. HE ACTUALLY IS 10 and will turn 11 in September this year. Not very many places to get buffet and this is the best in the area. Quick service by the staff to keep the table clean and the buffet table organized. They have crab legs, fried dumplings, shrimps, sushi and some noodles. A lot of variety to choose from. $22 for dinner. Since this place got new ownership (presumably) it has gotten a lot better. The service is quick and they remodeled the entire inside and booths. It feels and looks a lot cleaner with a more modern feel. Previously it was very old and outdated. Good selection of food. I'd come back. read more

The place is clean and staff is friendly. Sadly, the food is awful!! I tried the vegetables and they had so much baking powder on them. The spinach with cheese was so gross. The fried shrimp was mushy inside! How did that happen? The grill was better but they should give you a bowl so you can pile up the veggies. Plus they should ask you how you want your eggs cooked. Because of my impatient husband, he did not want to wait for our first choice buffet, King Buffet because they were very busy and we could see some people waiting outside to get inside. We have eaten at Hiro's and King Buffet before and we really liked King's because they are newer, cleaner and had many more selections of food. The first thing we noticed about Hibachi Grill is that the most of their customers are Hispanic population and I think I was probably the only Asian customers there. Their selection of food is very small and quality of food was not very good. I was very excited to see some fresh cooked orange chicken but it was mostly breading and very little chicken. Their sushi fish had dull color like it had been frozen, thawed out then frozen again then thawed out. I am not asking the very best quality fish from a cheap buffet, but the sushi fish from this place was not very appetizing looking. We have few other buffets available in Aurora, this place can't compete with other places and they seem like they don't even try to. It was Friday night. On Google Maps it shows that they close at 10:30 p.m. We arrived at 9:15 p.m. and paid $50 for two people. However, the hibachi area and the grill were already closed, and about half of the food had already been put away. The place was almost empty. I asked why we couldn't use the full service if there was still more than an hour left before the closing time listed on Maps. They responded that they close at 10:00 p.m. and that it is posted at the entrance, even though that does not match the hours published online. Even so, there were still 45 minutes left before closing. If they start shutting down an hour before the posted closing time, why continue accepting customers? We had to pay full price for incomplete service. There were barely any food options left available. The only solution they offered was a $10 gift card, which I will not use because I do not plan to return to a place with such poor service that feels like they are taking advantage of customers. Stopped in for sushi on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Ordered me and my friend 2 of the "all you can eat" buffets, an iced tea, Pepsi (for me) & hot green tea (also for me) before heading to our table. Once we got our drinks I realized I was only charged for a Pepsi & hot tea so my friend had to go back up and order her drink. Not really a big deal seeing as how it's self serve food so we had to get up anyway. I filled up on sushi & edamame which tasted good. I did try some noodles but wasn't a fan. Our server was polite & attentive to refilling our drinks and removed our empty plates in a timely manner. It was ok for a buffet. When compared to other buffets in Denver, it's somewhat better in terms of selection. One of the reviews I read said that there was coconut shrimp...there was not. The miso soup they offered is NOT miso soup. It's definitely a place you can take the family to get full. The food was cold. Going to your place. My son on his 30th birthday was Sept 28th. 2024. I paid cash.I always do. Special times only. I have grown sons. I called about noon and asked about a discount. I was told he would get a 50% discount. Me, 55, him, my 80 year old aunt and my friend, 65 who went there yesterday didn't get that discount. Two Words: FOOD POISONING!! There were 12 of us, 5 of us got food poisoning. We all live in different households so this wasn't something we ate at home or anywhere else. I made a plate of sushi but I couldn't eat it because the very first piece I put in my mouth tasted terrible. It definitely wasn't fresh. Next, I took some beef and bean sprouts to the grill and it tasted ok. Meanwhile my brother was in the parking lot throwing up everything he ate. We went here yesterday because my wife suggested trying it out. Our experience was a "one and done". We do NOT plan on going back. The staff was pleasant, but that's about the best thing I can say. We aren't very fussy, but most of the food was really poor quality. The sushi was OK; the sugared donut-style puffs were actually pretty good. The shrimp, both salt-and-pepper and cold were mushy. The beef-and-broccoli was awful. Some of the fresh fruit, especially the pineapple was quite good. When we got home, I looked up the Health Department inspection record for this place. Not acceptable in my opinion. Lots of re-inspections due to rampant deficiencies, many of the deficiencies having to do with sanitation and food storage/temperature problems.
