Sushi tower extraordinaire
April L.

Honey Bee never disappoints. The food was fresh, flavorful, and fabulous. The appetizers were made fresh. We never had to wait more than a couple minutes to get anything we needed, so service was beyond perfect. The ambiance was perfect for a family dinner, it was comfortable and easy to have discussions.

We dined here with 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The staff was very accommodating of the children. We started with appetizer combo and the tuna tini (think tuna & mango in large martini glass). The tuna was my favorite thing of the whole meal! So yummy. We then got several sushi rolls: Colorado, spider, craber and 2 S&M specials. It was way too much! Of course leftovers are always good. Also the kids got udon noodle dish with pork and they loved that. The boba tea was also a hit with the 4yr old.

As all of my past reviews, food is excellent. From the classic dishes to the sushi by Felix. The atmosphere has up beat music, but is yet calming. The staff are amazing. If you get Hans, you are extra lucky. He offers personable service and is very kind.

I always really enjoy the food at Honey Bee. I have to say that the food was still very good this time as well, which is a major plus. We had sesame chicken, fried rice and several other items. However, the customer service needs to be greatly improved at times. I called multiple times to see if my order was available for pick up. Each time I called I was "transferred to the manager" and was hung up on. I called because last time I went my food was not ready even though the order online said it was complete. I needed up waiting 45minutes last time which I wanted to prevent this time.

Came in at almost 2 pm on a Monday and it was not busy at all. The overall interior design of the restaurant was cute. There were 2 separate menus. One for Thai/Chinese food and another for Japanese/sushi items. I originally came here for a rice dish but upon seeing their Japanese menu I was curious to see if their sushi tasted good or not. Of course I didn't have great expectation but my curiosity got the best of me. I went with their lunch special 2 rolls for $15.95 that came with a complimentary miso soup. I chose shrimp tempura roll ($10) and a spicy salmon roll ($8.50) so that I could get my monies worth. I think miso is around $4 or $4.50 if you get that separately as well. I also added my favorite roll, spider roll, onto my order. Overall presentation of the rolls were spectacular. 9/10 for presentation. As for the taste of the rolls I would give it a 6.5-7/10. They were edible but they weren't great. I felt like the ingredients themselves weren't the freshest. Spicy salmon roll - The marinade they used was overly salty but the right amount of spice kick to it for me. Shrimp tempura roll - I felt like I was just eating the tempura batter since the shrimp used wasn't really juicy/thick so I couldn't really taste the meat of the shrimp at all. Spider roll - let's just say I've had my fair share of spider rolls and there was nothing impressive about this one. It definitely was not the worst roll I've had that's for sure Not sure how the Thai/Chinese food tastes but honestly I'm not eager to find out. If anything their green curry might taste good! Or maybe even the padsee ew. Those 2 items are pretty hard to mess up so if you like Thai food I would try those 2 items if you do decide to come here. I would not recommend the sushi though, that's where I messed up. Learned my lesson :)

7/19/25- Their prices have gone up a bit since I was last here, but the food is still good and you can make two meals of their dinner plates. They also have the robots that bring your food to the table. I would say focus on their main dishes more then on the sushi.

We visited this restaurant because it was on restaurant week. The food was pretty good. The kitchen seemed very overwhelmed and it took 2 hours to dine. Even though we did not receive timely service we would visit this place again. The restaurant was clean and wait staff was nice. Very clean restrooms.

Kieu L.

Great service with delicious food! The price wasn't bad either. They have a robot that brings the food out and that's pretty cool! You should check them out!

My son had the Filipino pork skewers, and folks - their version is the best I ever had. Crisp and sweet from the sauce, but thick and still meaty and juicy without being undercooked. Every other time I have had skewers they were sliced too thin, underdone or overdone. My drunken noodles were solid with a strong Thai hot spice. Get here before you have to wait for a table.

The outing, as I call these eating feasts with my group, was set up like a buffet-styled dining where a group of 14 diners enjoyed a variety of Filipino-Thai dishes, which also included one Thai iced tea or coffee and a halo halo dessert for each diner. Representing Filipino, these dishes were pancit canton noodle dish w/shrimp, pork adobo, chicken and pork BBQ skewers, and garlic fried rice (vegetarian). Representing Thai, the dishes were pad see ew with beef, eggplant with tofu (vegetarian), pad kra pow with crispy pork belly, and chop suey vegetables with Thai house sauce (vegetarian). We also ate tempura shrimp, fish cakes, and lumpia as appetizers. I started my first plate with a scoop of garlic fried rice, a chicken BBQ skewer, some pork adobo pieces, eggplant with tofu, pancit canton noodle, pad kra pow, and chop suey veggies. Added all of the appetizers too. As I enjoyed eating the food on my plate, I focused on the flavors and the spices used in each dish, the texture of each food item, and how each item I ate made me feel. My top favorite dishes were the cancit canton noodle, pork adobo, chicken skewer, and the fish cake. These dishes were amazing. The spices used to bring these dishes were the next level of deliciousness. I enjoyed everything else I ate except for the spices used in the crispy pork belly for the pad kra pow, and I found the halo halo dessert, which is very colorful to see and mixed, was way too sweet for me. Asking for the group's feedback and what were their favorite dishes and why, they wrote their favorites were the eggplant, pork adobo, and fish cakes. One person said it perfectly: "The shrimp tempura was perfectly golden, light, and incredibly crispy with fresh, juicy shrimp inside. The fish cakes were flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. And the Filipino lumpia? Hands down the star of the plate--crispy, perfectly seasoned, and so addictive that one is never enough. Perfectly cooked noodles tossed in a flavorful, well-balanced sauce with fresh ingredients in every bite. The garlic rice was fragrant, fluffy, and packed with rich garlic flavor that paired perfectly with adobo." This summary was our eating experience here at Real Thai Mile High. The staff was attentive to our eating experience, and the ambiance was delightful since we were able to talked, laughed, and connect with each other without seeing and hearing other nearby diners' conversations. Eating with friends is great, but the best way to enjoy the dining experience and bringing it to the next level is doing family style: order a bunch of food and split the bill. Great way to be exposed to different dishes, different flavors, and different eating experience. I plan to stop by one day and dine, but with my foodies friends!

The food, portions, flavors, and overall experience are absolutely outstanding. First - you cannot leave without trying the homemade ginger ale. I have no idea what magic they put into it, but it is truly out of this world. It's unique, refreshing, and easily one of the most memorable drinks I've had at a restaurant. The pho is consistently delicious - packed with incredible flavor. The sesame chicken is another standout, but honestly, the curries are where this place really shines. My friend said the lamb curry was one of the best things he has ever eaten, and I completely understand why. The curries come out piping hot and overflowing- literally. The atmosphere is just as special as the food. The inside has such a great vibe - cozy, welcoming, and full of character. They also have the cutest little patio that feels like a hidden oasis with all the greenery and homey touches. The management and staff are phenomenal. They are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about your experience. They constantly check in and somehow always seem to surprise you with something extra. However, the staff was extremely accommodating and did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of. Even though the restaurant was busy and our group was much larger than the average party, they still provided great service and were very patient with us. I really appreciated how much effort they put into making the experience enjoyable for everyone. The food was also very tasty. I ordered the sesame chicken, and it had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming, and the chicken had a really good crunch to it. It was exactly what I was hoping for and definitely one of the highlights of my meal. Everything else that I tried was enjoyable as well, and overall, I was impressed with the quality of the food. My biggest complaint was more about the layout of the restaurant than the food or service. Because we had such a large group, there really weren't many spaces available that could accommodate everyone together. We ended up having to sit at five separate tables, which was a little inconvenient when we were trying to celebrate a birthday as a group. I completely understand that the staff was working with the space they had, and I really appreciate that they did everything they could to accommodate us. It just would have been nice if there were a larger seating area where big parties could sit together. I think a remodel or some type of redesign of the dining area could really benefit the restaurant, especially if they frequently have larger parties. Creating a designated space for bigger groups would make the experience much more convenient and would allow families and large groups to actually sit together and enjoy their meals. Overall, though, we had a great experience. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious, and they did a great job handling our large group despite how busy they were. The seating situation was definitely the only downside, and I think that could be improved with a little more space or a remodel. I would still come back, especially for the food and the excellent service!
