Some of the best sushi I've ever had! I had the spicy tuna roll and the crunchy crab and they were both delicious. My friends got two speciality rolls and sashimi. Highly recommend this place.

Small cute little restaurant connected to the teppanyaki place. - Milk Tea w/ Boba 2.1/5 Milk tea is below average, and the boba is hard and tastes old. - Green Mussels 2.3/5 Could be baked a little longer, and it was quite oily/wet inside. Basic, below average. - Hama Hama Roll 3.8/5 The eel and avocado on top was tasty. - Dillon Roll 4.2/5 Yellowtail on top tasted fresh, it was overall a good roll. Best one out of the three. - Spicy Yaki Salmon Roll 1.8/5 Salmon doesn't taste fresh. This roll was the worst one. Free parking in lot.

Pretty fun experience and good place for a large group. Would call ahead to reserve if you can. It costs a bit much but overall a decent experience.

Love this place, it's our go to for celebrations here in Summit County. Make a reservation as it gets full quick. I would give it 5 stars if they cleared off dirty dishes quicker as it adds up between soup, salad, drinks and meals.

We went to Nozawa on the weekend after a peak snow storm and just couldn't wait for some spicy Ramen. We ordered Tonkatsu Ramen with some sake. Nozawa delivered it. This tonkotsu ramen has a rich, long-simmered broth that contains soft boiled eggs with their golden yolk, nutty-sweet sesame seeds, earthy scallions, and crunchy bean sprouts. It was a semi upscale ambiance but the service was fast enough. The seating arrangement could have been improved. It felt a bit crammed.

Loved this place for a bite to eat after shopping. The service was great, and so was the ambiance. We loved our cocktails. I ordered a miso soup and my friend got the gyoza, both of which were good. We also loved our rolls. I got a yummy roll and a piece of unagi and she got the ichi ban roll and a California roll. Would definitely come back.

12 piece nigiri "dinner" but without soup and salad.

I knew it. This Chinese sushi joint is just bad. The tako nigiri was like chewing on a piece of rubber. I couldn't chew it thru! Yes I had to spit it back out! The rest of my 12 piece nigiri dinner were all old fishy fish! I had to down my Sapporo to try to get rid of the fishy taste. Never sushi on the mountain again!

The sushi bar wasn't really lively, they block the view overall so you don't get a "sushi bar" experience from the chefs. Our waiter seemed flustered because he was understaffed but we put our orders in for drinks and tried to make the best of it. I ordered a mocktail and it was so sour you couldn't drink it. So I asked for a different drink. When we got our miso soup it was so salty that none of us at our table couldn't finish it. The "bread" for the table isn't impressive and they decided to plate our entire groups order on a skateboard? Which had paint chipping off of it? (Food grade? Probably not) Like a lot of other reviews it's confusing here. The sushi....the sushi was warm. My cuts of fish on my nigiri's that were raw were warm. The monster spider roll was rolled so bad that the nori sheet was hard to chew. As the night went on tables weren't used, and we could have sat at a table with the turn around times we saw. Overall, for the price they charge it's not worth it. Go into downtown Breckenridge if you're looking for sushi because this isn't it.

As far as I could tell it was an incredibly dry piece of chuck swimming in salty thick meatloaf gravy. It was edible, but only because I was hungry and knew what it cost... you needed water to get the meat down. Asparagus was good. I started with a specialty roll, the Hot Hippie w/salmon. $20 (12 plain. 8 for the fish). Good but not $20 good. I guess I'm used to specialty roles being oversized, which this was not. Also got the Iwai old fashioned. Tasted like a glass full of crushed ice with whiskey. Could barely tell it was an old fashioned. So, my meal was $80 before tip, nothing was great, I'd try somewhere else or maybe just different options. The front bar seemed lively and fun. Maybe that's the better call with an attentive bartender and conversation.

We ordered a half chicken which would have been enough for us in general but the batter was so crispy and well seasoned that we were highly tempted to order a whole chicken just to take home with us to brag to other family. It was sooooo good! I am from South Korea and I know when my chicken is good. Even some Korean chicken franchise in Denver can't do this good. It will come with a sauce for dipping on the side. We chose the bird sauce and was perfect to dip or mix it in with a jasmine rice along with complementary herbs (basil, cilantros, etc) and cucumber salad. Plus their special soft serve of the day made it even more perfect. We had a coconut soft serve ice cream topped with caramel sauce which was very good. Not overwhelming just refreshing as a whole. This will be our place for sure whenever we pass by! Chicken and outer range hazy ipa were perfect match. I loved that they are existing together. We were starving and I regret so much for not taking the photos. Miss the place already

For context, I'm a professional chef with over 17 years in the industry, having worked as a server, line cook, chef, and restaurant owner. The atmosphere itself is decent. The building is nice, though the tables are a bit small depending on where you're seated. We were greeted and seated without issue--but that's where the positives ended. Prices are high, but it's Summit County, so that's expected. That said, I live in Aspen and have had better food for less. I understand catering to the Vail Resorts crowd, but quality still matters. Before even walking in, we watched one of the cooks step outside near the freezer and take drugs from someone sitting in a car. While this may not shock anyone familiar with the area, it's still not something you want to see before a meal. We chose to ignore it and went inside. My husband ordered the fish and chips ($24), and I ordered the Italian pizza. Starting with the fish and chips: it was terrible. The portion of fish was tiny--smaller than my hand--and poorly cooked, with no seasoning whatsoever. It was bland, ragged, and buried beneath an excessive amount of fries that were both dry and soggy, as if they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. The hush puppies included were equally mediocre. While I understand their Southern origins, fish and chips is a British dish. If you're adding hush puppies to inflate the price, it should be marketed differently. Three hush puppies buried under fries do not justify a $24 plate, especially when the fish itself is subpar. To make matters worse, we weren't given condiments and had to grab a table caddy ourselves from the bar across the room. Both meals arrived in about seven minutes, which strongly suggests they were pre-cooked and reheated rather than made fresh--especially considering one was a pizza and the other a fried fish entrée. As for my pizza, it was fine. Nothing special, nothing awful. For the price and location, it was average, and I won't complain much about it. The biggest issue, however, was the service. The server was pleasant at first, but about 15 minutes into our meal she began pushing us to leave. I still had half a margarita in front of me, and my husband was actively eating with more than half his beer left. Instead of checking in appropriately, she immediately asked if I wanted a box. Anyone with industry experience knows that's not how you approach a table--especially when guests are clearly not finished. It's rude and makes customers feel unwelcome. Fifteen minutes later, after I reluctantly accepted a box, she returned again while my husband was still eating and drinking and asked if we were "all set." At that point, we'd been there for about 30 minutes, spent over $60, and were being rushed out. Meanwhile, the rest of the restaurant was filled with people lingering over drinks during happy hour--some on laptops, some just chatting--most without food at all. Whether this was intentional or just poor service, it reflects a lack of training and care. Burnout is real in this industry, but that doesn't excuse making guests feel unwelcome. If you don't want to do the job properly, find another one. Overall, this is a two-star experience solely because the happy hour drinks are worth it. For food or genuinely good service, go to Dillon Dam across the street--they're cheaper and the food is far better. This restaurant needs a complete overhaul of both kitchen and front-of-house staff, along with serious retraining. You can't charge $25 for mediocre food, provide poor service, and still expect solid tips. Unfortunately, this place exemplifies many of the problems currently plaguing the restaurant industry.
