Walked into here on a Tuesday night, it wasn't packed at all but we didn't have a reservation. The only thing they had was a high top at the "sushi bar". The sushi bar wasn't really lively, they block the view overall so you don't get a "sushi bar" experience from the chefs. Our waiter seemed flustered because he was understaffed but we put our orders in for drinks and tried to make the best of it. I ordered a mocktail and it was so sour you couldn't drink it. So I asked for a different drink. When we got our miso soup it was so salty that none of us at our table couldn't finish it. The "bread" for the table isn't impressive and they decided to plate our entire groups order on a skateboard? Which had paint chipping off of it? (Food grade? Probably not) Like a lot of other reviews it's confusing here. The sushi....the sushi was warm. My cuts of fish on my nigiri's that were raw were warm. The monster spider roll was rolled so bad that the nori sheet was hard to chew. As the night went on tables weren't used, and we could have sat at a table with the turn around times we saw. Overall, for the price they charge it's not worth it. Go into downtown Breckenridge if you're looking for sushi because this isn't it.

Short rib - $38 SO NOT WORTH IT. A dry piece of chuck swimming in salty meatloaf gravy.

Really underwhelmed here. Best note is that they are open till 10 and service was fast... or more like rushed. I got the Short rib which at $38 was SO NOT WORTH IT. As far as I could tell it was an incredibly dry piece of chuck swimming in salty thick meatloaf gravy. It was edible, but only because I was hungry and knew what it cost... you needed water to get the meat down. Asparagus was good. I started with a specialty roll, the Hot Hippie w/salmon. $20 (12 plain. 8 for the fish). Good but not $20 good. I guess I'm used to specialty roles being oversized, which this was not. Also got the Iwai old fashioned. Tasted like a glass full of crushed ice with whiskey. Could barely tell it was an old fashioned. So, my meal was $80 before tip, nothing was great, I'd try somewhere else or maybe just different options. The front bar seemed lively and fun. Maybe that's the better call with an attentive bartender and conversation.

Awesome sushi and great vibes. I like sitting up front near the bar; it's a good option in case you don't have a reservation. This place gets slammed during the weekends so plan ahead! Their sushi is awesome and I'm a big fan of their tuna shooters.

Always a good time, Roy and team do great job with this diversified menu! Enjoy the great selection of sake right on Main Street!

2 rolls missing totaling $33 + Togo fees and pick up fees $20 =$53 a meal for one. They need to do better.

We were on vacation in Colorado. We placed an order and picked it up. The food was good, however, 2 of the rolls we ordered were not placed in the take out bag. Which is upsetting because we skied all day and was tired. On top of it with all the togo fees and charges they add for a PICK UP, they should double and triple check the order before releasing it.

A fish wonderfully prepared

Stopped in to have a dinner. Waiter was friendly and upbeat. Kind of rustic and a bit aged mixed with modern sushi bar. As a sushi place they had a good selection. A bit pricey I thought but had a great roll that had the right balance of rice and tuna/vegetables. Nice selection on menu also; I chose the broiled trout. I was expecting a fish on the plate but was really positively impressed when it came filleted out! All the meat was easily reached and I really had a full meal. Definitely will be back.

Normally, I would not trust sushi at a place that also serves burgers, but I was happily surprised. Quality of food is great. Edamame was ordered and it was THE BEST edamame I've ever eaten. Salty and savory. The fish tacos were vibrant and fresh. The swirly fries were amazing. Perfect texture and taste. The sushi was good. The pickled vegetable on the side was tasty. The ghost pepper sauce was fantastic. I enjoyed everything.

Food is good but when placing a to go order, expect t to add 30+ minutes to the time they estimate on food being ready.

The manager stopped by to say hello and our drinks and orders all came out in timely manner. This was our second visit while in Frisco. My organic grass fed burger with chips were delicious. I could had salad or soup as other option. They also offered many choices for people opting out of meat options. Other fresh and healthy options too. Overall, it was good experience dining here as expected. Did notice they were charging 4% for competitive wage compensation. For 3 of us, one beer and one seltzer with tip/tax came out to $130. Gotta pay the price if you want wholesome well sourced ingredients. I will be back to try the mozzarella sticks apps and organic grass fed burger, again!

The food was fabulous. We loved everything we ordered and it was so flavorful and fresh. The salmon in particular was delish!

We shared the small salad and the pasta with the steak add-on, and everything was fantastic. We sat in the bar area and skipped the cocktails since we were driving home, but I did order a Shirley Temple. Call me crazy, but it was honestly the best Shirley Temple I've ever had. We spent the last part of dinner going back and forth on dessert -- the cookie/ s'mores -- and decided to pass. The second we got in the car, we both regretted it. That just means we'll have to come back soon and do it right next time. Great food, great atmosphere, and a really enjoyable experience all around. Nice job, 5th Ave Grille!

And yes--she IS a legitimate service animal. After standing at the front for a few minutes, the waiter finally approached us with, "Are you looking to sit outside, or are you just looking at the menu, or what?" Well... hello to you too. We asked if we could sit inside if there was availability. That apparently earned us an eye roll. I even offered to show documentation for my service dog, and his response was basically, "I'll get the owner and you can talk to him." At that point, the vibe had gone from "not very welcoming" to "we clearly don't want you people in here." I can't know what was going through his head, but the way he looked at us, spoke to us, and reacted to a simple request came across as genuinely prejudiced and discriminatory--not just rude customer service. Maybe we didn't fit the preferred 5th Avenue Grille aesthetic after eight hours on the road. Sorry, I forgot to pack my dinner blazer in the camper van. We decided to leave rather than spend money somewhere that made us feel unwelcome before we even sat down. Food might be great. We'll never know. Hospitality, however, was definitely not on tonight's menu. Would not recommend.

The tomato carrot bisque comes with one rule--eat it while it's hot. Follow instructions and you're rewarded with cozy, velvety goodness. Ignore them and that's on you. Buffalo sausage with potato salad sounds chaotic, tastes brilliant. The wedge salad is crisp, classic, and doing exactly what a wedge should do. Vegan mushroom cakes were surprisingly rich and earthy--no one missed the meat. The standout? House-made bucatini with Vinny's bolognese--deep, soulful, and clinging to the pasta like it means it. The pizza with hot soppressata, sausage, basil, and red sauce disappeared at an alarming rate. One rebel ordered the steak frites off the main menu. Bold choice. Zero regrets. Bottom line: relaxed vibe, excellent food, and the kind of place where "just one bite" turns into staying awhile. Downtown Frisco wins. Review is a four star because our group concluded the service does not match the food.
