We had lunch here on a beautiful weekday afternoon. We sat outside to enjoy the September sun. Service was prompt and helpful. My wife had the beet salad that was outstanding. I had the chicken cordon bleau sandwich. It was great. The chicken was moist and I appreciated the pretzel bun. Special kudos because I ordered an Arnold Palmer and the ice tea was brewed, not from a gun. This place is pricey, but the quality measures up. read more

This was the last place we visited during our visit, and unfortunately we were let down. Not only was the service lacking, but one of our party members ended up getting sick afterwards. Update: Response from business owner was appalling. Not a word of apology, or even a response to one of our party members getting sick from their food/sanitation. We were so excited to try a new Keystone restaurant now that Kindred has opened. Goodz has an upscale feel with a western vibe. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. The prices are a bit high, but pretty much what you'd expect at a resort. We will definitely be back. read more

This was our first time visiting, and we were very impressed! It was a busy night for them. They're only a few months old, but they were handling it all very well! Staff was hustling and the hostess, Maddie, was wonderful! Even when they had to move many people that were seated outside, inside, when it started to rain. Very nice ambience, and the food was incredible! The cherry short ribs, and herb roasted chicken were excellent! Even the fresh vegetables on the side were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were on the Parade of Homes and Goodz had special the entire event. We went in and had great cocktails. We ordered drummies and pork belly apps. The drummies came out with Buffalo sauce instead of BBQ. A manager came to us immediately and apologized. She said she could get the kitchen to cook a new portion in 3 or 4 minutes. She came back with the correct sauce on the chicken in less than 4 minutes. This was on a Saturday night with a full bar - the kitchen had to be busy. When the bill came, she had removed the appetizer from our check. We told her that we did not expect a free appetizer, she said it came out wrong the first time - we should not have to pay for it. We will be coming back to Goodz, they truly care about the customer experience ! read more

Well, not sure if this place is ready for crowds yet. While the food was good, the service is to be desired. We were sat outside on a super mild evening. The setting is super cute and the view is on point. It was Labor Day weekend and super busy! The server came to our table with water. We ordered an app and asked for something to help our table stop wobbling and for it to be cleaned off. Reasonable asks, right? Our app came out with no side plates. Another reasonable ask. We ordered our dinner and drinks. No sauce plate came out with sauce, no cheese burger came with cheese, and the wrong wine. On top of this, the food runner spilled a whole glass of water on our table. my lap and soaked my socks and shoes. We never even got a chance to ask about the wine because our server didn't come back by. By this point, I just drank it. We waited for our bill and I finally had to go inside to get it. It was verified on the bill it was the wrong wine. A fairly pricey meal for a less than stellar experience. Maybe they were short staffed, maybe this is what this place will be. I hope not. Maybe we'll try this place again during ski season. A work in progress. read more

We hosted a large party at The Goodz Tavern in late June, the night before my son's wedding. Literally, everything was perfect and the evening exceeded all of my expectations. The restaurant has an A+ location in the heart of River Run Village and steps from the River Run Gondola. The space has a cool vibe, with a huge outdoor patio and view of the mountains. Our guests raved about the food. (Try the Colorado Green Carnitas Chili - delicious and it has a great kick!) But the staff stole the show. The bartenders and servers were exceptional - pleasant, professional, and the hardest working people. We were a big group and then handled us with grace and ease. It is hard to believe that Goodz has only been open for a month. I expect it to be THE place to be in River Run Village! read more

Very disappointed. Have waited a long time for Kindred to get open and offer some new restaurants. A beautiful evening, so we asked to sit on the patio. Restaurant was less than half full. Menu options looked great and a great wine selection. We sat out there for over 15 minutes and not a soul ever even acknowledged us. Not even a "I'll be right with you." So we thought we might get better service at the bar. We moved in and had the same experience. 2 bartenders and neither one would acknowledge us. (one appeared to be the bar manager and she actually told the other to stop talking to people at the bar and focus on drinks for the dining room.). After 30 minutes of trying, we gave up and left. I have seen quite a few restaurants fail in Keystone, so first impressions matter. read more

Stopped in by chance while out walking around Keystone - only 2nd day open. What a fantastic addition - just what we'd hoped for with the Kindred opening. Hopefully this will elevate everyone's game in the resort!!! We sat at bar for drinks and an appetiser. The pastrami tater tots were a killer!!! Had the Filet Mignon and it was delicious. My wife had the pork schnitzel and she really enjoyed it too. Limited menu as it was opening weekend. There are also a few kinks that need to be worked out but service and atmosphere were good. read more

Very disappointing experience! The only thing preventing a one star review is the ambience and location. We encountered multiple issues including: 1) Arrived at the restaurant and there were multiple tables available. The host took us out on the patio and seemed to wander about, doing a full lap of the area. She finally looked at us and asked us where we wanted to sit. 2) It took over 20 minutes for our waiter to arrive (so slow), and we tried to place our drink order. Once the waiter arrived, he did not know what the house red wine was and did not know any of the beers on tap. He said he needed to grab a drink menu. Five minutes later he returned, without a drink menu. We order whatever red wine was available and whatever lager beer they had. 2) Drinks finally arrived (so slow) - white wine (not red). The waiter apologized and said he would take it off the bill. 3) The menu was nice and we ordered our dinner - Chicken sandwich for me and a salad for my wife. 4) Food came pretty quickly. However, we did not have any silverware or napkins. We asked for some and a couple of minutes later they brought over napkins and a knife and spoon. Had to request a fork for the salad. 5) Food was fine, but somewhat uninspired. 6) After finishing our meal, we waited another 10 minutes or so for our bill (so slow). When it arrived, it included the white wine we didn't order (and which they said they would remove). It also included a 3% credit surcharge which is being applied to an expensive mountain resort meal. we felt it would take entirely too long to ask to have the white wine removed so we didn't bother. In total it took us over an hour and a half to have one beer/wine and a salad/sandwich. While it is a great location with a good menu, they have a great deal of work to do in training the staff and managing the dining experience. read more

The service was terrible. The waiter was incredibly slow and didn't get our order right. I asked for my sandwich without cheese and the waiter brought it with cheese dripping from it. He ended up taking the sandwich to the kitchen and brought my plate back with the fries on it. I wanted to eat my fries with my sandwich. I didn't want them as an appetizer. My friend ordered a cup of soup which came out after his hamburger did. He actually wanted that as an appetizer. Very poor service. There were only two other tables occupied and there was another waitress. No reason for the poor service when the restaurant was pretty empty. read more

Great place, quite expensive for typical foods but it is a mountain restaurant. We orders the tacos and smash burgers they were all great but the grilled avocado WITH corn was very special and delicious. I wouldn't order the fries if I come back they were kind of sad but the tater tots were amazing. The sticky toffee pudding was by far the best but quite sweet. The service was wonderful our server, Shane was great. The ambiance was also nice its rustic modern and we loved it but the ceiling was questionable as it creates dust. read more
