Service for eight, plus a toddler, went well. Kimberly and staff were professional. We arrived at 5:30 and received good service and food quite quickly. The menu had entrees, salads and pizza. Prices were good, not extreme like some places on Main St. Our group tried and favored the Elk Bolognese. The Squash Ravioli I had was hardy and delicious. Had a lemony flavor that could have been the arugamata. The Bison Short Ribs were very tender and flavorful. One person had the Peking pizza. Was different. He shared two slices from the 10-12" size. Maybe it was the hoisin BBQ sauce. Wasn't a favorite, tho the duck pieces were plentiful. Edwin's is a better restaurant in the Hilton Hotel. There is also a bar and large lobby. Recommend it.

Overall good atmosphere and contemporary decor inside the hotel Alpenrock. Delicious acai yogurt granola bowl. Service was very attentive and we were offered much appreciated coffee refills several times. The price was like any other place in Breck.

Ya know, the story of this place is its inspiration from Edwin Carter who traveled west in 1868 to try his hand at gold mining. He quickly became distressed at the impact the mining industry. What Edwin should have been distressed about is his name being used in this pretentious 7/11 type food and drinks. Frankly, the pizza was undercooked, I mean how can a "chef" serve undercooked crust. The mojito (there was a mixup and it took 30 minutes to come out, tasted like overly concentrated lemonade with a small leaf of mint floating in it. The wedge salad - oh my god, it took over an hour to be served was a God forsaken wedge (means just a slice of a head of lettuce, I know it's a complicated preparation as cutting a head of lettuce requires lots of culinary training. I mean the addition of fried onions from a can was whole sorts of special. I mean ... really!? This is a pretty place however, I simply don't understand how anyone can give this place over 2 stars. Cassoulet: vegetarian - I believe the entire flavor of this lovely French dish comes from some sort of a gamey meat (well, not here). It's Vegetarian. A lovely Asian family behind us (my kid speaks Chinese) said they were beyond confused how bad the food was. Oh Edwin, Edwin, I am sorry they used your name for this monstrosity. Not only do I want 2 plus hours of my life back but I want a drink to forget this evening and I am pretty certain, it will not come from this bar. What a sad disappointment. Management and ownership should be ashamed. The server was great however, we wanted to get our check as half of our food did not arrive 2 hours in, we asked for a check and the server came back and said "the manager said, please just leave no payment needed". To be fair, we did leave cash at the table as they are business but tonight was simply bad. Hats off to the server.

We came as a group of 6 on Valentine's Day and waited three hours for our entrees and when they finally came, it was so gross. I've attached a picture of the lobster we were served... we can only assume it was microwaved? Very strange. They admitted they were overbooked and did not make us pay for dinner which was generous, but we would definitely not come back.

Not sure what is happening here but our service was horrible at best. I don't normally leave a bad review but there were so many problems that I feel I must. First off we ordered drinks that took over 25 minutes to get to the table and were barely tolerable at best. We needed to adjust at the table to make them drinkable . I had the cauliflower steak, which was nothing more than two small crowns for 24 dollars and the peach cobbler was nothing more than canned peaches with some toppings. One of our party ordered a drink with vodka NOT gin due to an allergy. The drink came and he said it had gin, server said no it is vodka, server asked bartender and sure enough it had gin. Hopefully by ski season they will work through the problems but at this point they are not ready for a full crowd. So sorry that our daughter paid for our dinner as the service and quality was so far below an acceptable level.

Everything at the Edwin was great. We ate here for breakfast and the morning views were stunning. I got the Montezuma Hash and it was super tasty. It had elk in it which I had never tried before. The staff was super friendly and attentive and made sure everything was as we had hoped. We cant wait to come back for dinner!

We have never done this at a restaurant before, but we went to Twist 2 nights in a row. It is that good! We had to go back because we wanted to taste everything on the menu that we could. We had a friend who was there the same day on the other side of the restaurant that we did not see, but he said it was the best pasta dish in Colorado! Everyone was so accommodating to our group of 4 adults and 2 children. We felt at home in the beautiful Victorian home setting. We sat outside in the front yard with a majestic view of the mountains and sat back and enjoyed great food, great wine, and stellar service (shout out to Connor who took care of us the first night). They have a Happy Hour that is fabulous, but please do not limit yourself to the Happy Hour menu. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Our group kept debating what dish was the best....so many favorites. Here are some of our favorites in no particular order: Elote Street Corn Bibb - We made salad wraps of charred corn, cotija cheese, bacon and tomatoes...) Mussels - I know every restaurant has a mussel dish on their menu, but these were sublime. Love the touch of sausage to the dish! Cheese & Charcuterie Board - excellent, excellent curation! Great local cheeses paired with artisan meats...cudos on the Duck Prosciutto! Lobster Roll - All Lobster, Butter on a toasted bun....simple and so good! Shrimp and Pancetta Tagliatelle - The pasta is charred. Yes you heard that right charred pasta. The chef explained he experienced a similar dish in Italy during his travels and came back home to replicate it in his Restaurant - Thank You Chef Delicious! As our friend said "Best Pasta Dish in Colorado!" We live in the Chicagoland area, but can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu! This is a long winded review and I could go on and on, but do yourself a favor and head to the mountains and Twist in Breckenridge. It is very pocketbook friendly compared to the quality food, and exceptional service you receive!

We shared the lamb chops (not pictured), the escargot, and the almond crusted ruby red trout. It was all delicious, but the trout was especially phenomenal. It's been weeks, and I am still daydreaming about it. While the food was excellent, the wait between dishes was a bit long. While waiting, we were fortunate to enjoy homemade focaccia, fresh from the kitchen. We absolutely loved Twist. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

The food came out quickly, tasted good, and the service was fast for most of our visit. The only things that stood out were that we were seated upstairs while we had a stroller with our toddler. Our server headed upstairs without asking if we needed a hand carrying it, or an elevator, which felt a little odd. It wasn't a huge deal, but a quick offer to help would have gone a long way. The only other hiccup was at the end of the meal. Everything moved quickly until we were ready to pay. we waited about 15 minutes for our check, which felt a little longer than expected. Overall, those were pretty minor issues compared to the rest of the experience. Great vibes, good food, and we'd definitely come back the next time we're in Breckenridge.

First things first -- the views. Huge windows looking out toward the slopes and mountains make it feel like you're sitting inside a snow globe with a drink in hand. Cozy lodge vibes, warm lighting, and that perfect après-ski energy even if you didn't touch a pair of skis all day. I went straight for the beef stew, and it was exactly what the moment called for. Rich, hearty, slow-cooked flavor with tender beef, vegetables, and that deep savory broth that basically warms you from the inside out. If you're cold from the mountain air, this bowl fixes everything. The beverages were flowing, and the bar is a great place to park for a bit and soak up the scenery. Big shoutout to Alec the bartender -- awesome hospitality, friendly, attentive, and the kind of bartender who makes you feel like you've been coming there for years even if it's your first visit.
