We stayed at the grand timber lodge and this place is a gem. Super easy access, has variety of food to choose from. I missed their happy hour but the deals are good if you're there to drink. There's a good amount of specialty drinks and beers to choose from. My favorite was the pretzels! Super soft and warm and a nice cheese dip to eat it with! The service was quick and everyone was pleasant and nice! Great place for families, friends or date night :) read more

Horrible service. Sat there for 1 1/2 hours, waitress made me excuses that she was the only one on service. We had another guy help us. Never got my kids food, never got my appetizers, waited 30 minutes for a drink (we should have left then!). Waiters hands were so dirty, they looked like they hadn't been washed in a week. Got our pizza, no kids meal, no app. Pizza was cold. I had enough, and asked for the check. They were really quick to bring the bill when I asked, and had all the food charged to the bill that we never received. I don't know who is running that place, but it looked like a 2 ring circus. So disappointed. Came up here to celebrate my 40th birthday. Extremely underwhelmed. And my kids are still hungry. Guess I'll make dinner for them in the room. read more

I normally wouldn't give five stars to a restaurant like this just because it has standard mountain fare like Pizza, burgers and wings. However, their food is exceptional within the mountain food genre. I was expecting an average pizza, but ours was chock full of sauce, pepperoni, cheese and vegetables (piled high)! The wings are juicy and crispy with Buffalo sauce and ranch on the side ( we had both to go). When we went for drinks in the bar, we met a lot of fun and interesting people to talk to, and the U-shaped bar was perfect for conversation! We've come to the Grand Timber Lodge for years, but never tried "The Boot". We will be back for sure! I must compliment the staff. All three time we came in we were greeted promptly and the bartenders and servers were friendly!! They helped me with carry out solutions so that I could get the food and drinks where I needed to go!! Sitting at the bar, they served drinks quickly and offered helpful suggestions. Solid establishment in the Grand Timber Resort. The menu is a bit limited but the pizza is as good as any in town and the Chili was worth a reorder. read more

The Boot was ok but the meals are overpriced for what you get. My Chicken Parm was kind of small. The chicken was about the size of a saucer over a bed of spaghetti with warmed up sauce from a can. I ordered a mini GLT salad to go with it and I'm glad I did, otherwise I would have still been hungry. If you don't feel like making something in your room, ordering something for delivery, or going into town, then it's convenient. I don't think we'll eat at The Boot again next time we're in town. read more

Looking for a place away from the busyness of downtown for one of our nights, we found the Stinky Boot via Yelp. It was walking distance from our rental so we decided to check it out. The saloon is located on a beautiful lodge property, we passed a life-sized chess board, hot tubs and ski rental shop on our walk through the property. Inside, the Stinky Boot has a big bar and lots of tables -- they also had several TVs playing a variety of sports games. Our group was craving different items; I wanted pizza, my husband wanted a burger and my sister in law wanted wings and my brother was hoping for some chili and we literally all got what we wanted here. Everything was delicious, too! An awesome sports bar type atmosphere in the mountains, this is the perfect place to have a drink or some food when you're looking for a low key night after the slopes. read more

Robbie, the bartender, (I think that was his name!) is so cool and friendly. We checked in to the Grand Timber and wanted to grab some food and drinks before closing our evening in the hot tub. We came in with the kitchen only serving for another 10 minutes or so, but we were still made to feel welcome by Robbie and not rushed at all. He was happy to recommend some dishes as well. We ended up taking a bottle of cava to go for the hot tub, and he gave us some plastic cups as well. I ordered wings, and my husband got a Philly. He enjoyed his sandwich, and my wings were super crispy and hot. I was less of a fan of the wing sauce; it wasn't the typical vinegary Buffalo sauce, but Tabasco-based and a touch sweeter, but that's just a me thing. The ranch was good. Service is great and atmosphere is chill. I may not go out of my way to eat here, but if you're staying at Grand Timber, it's great and super convenient. read more

Best burger in Breck! Made to order so I can get it medium rare and juicy! Service is awesome! Parking is a bit tight but you can grab the Grand Timber shuttle from any shuttle stop in town. They have many other great menu options too. read more

Yes! Yes! Yes! This place is bomb!!! I highly recommend and will be coming back. They were amazing with my autistic child. It seemed that the entire staff catered to him, which eased me and my husband so we could all enjoy a meal. They dimmed the lights so my son could feel better (knowing about sensory overload). One of the servers or bartender, I dont know who, came to play with my son. They were so kind. We even got a drink on the restuarant. Definately come here! The staff is so kind and caring and the food was sooooooo good. We had a really good meal here and for sure coming back for more! read more

I have been coming to the Grand Timber Lodge for 20+ years and this was our first time eating at The Boot. Food was so good we ate there for almost every meal, while we were there. We even had some of the items more than one time! GREAT RESTAURANT!!!! read more

This used to be the Lodge. But new layout, new owners, new food made it a nice lunch stop after swimming. It was the first time, in a very long time, I saw all three of my kids eat everything on there plate. Ben loved that he could get baked beans instead of fries with his pulled pork sandwich. The server/manager, Cameron was very nice and made us feel at home. He was great with my boys! We will definitely be back for another lunch adventure. read more

Another jaunt to Breck at the Grand Timber and find the Stinky Boot replaced the Lodgepole! As we frequent Breck winter and summer, I am always concerned when things change. In this instant, it is a welcome change! Food change was a huge positive! Although semi-Bar food, it was a nice selection! I opted for the Reuben and fries. Nice sandwich portion with crispy fries! The pulled pork sandwich topped with slaw was a tasty Sammie. Huge crispy chicken Sammie was a good size and offered a sweet/spicy honey sauce which could have been a tad spicier (preference). FSalads were a nice offering. Apps were good (Mozz sticks, wings); pretzels with cheese were ok. Pizza was also an option which no one took up! Good selection of draft and bottles/cans. read more

This place has been good until this week. Called in an order but they didn't get it ready. Had to wait for it and it still wasn't right. There is no consistency. Sometimes the salmon blat is great, last couple times no. Beware. No telling what you are going to get. We're done! read more

The menu has definitely been upgraded. The chicken bruschetta salad was fantastic, not what I would expect from a saloon. And the chicken Alfredo was tasty, as well. The restaurant was packed and others seemed to be enjoying their meals, as well. read more

Ate dinner here with my family in December 2019, and we all enjoyed our experience and meal. The restaurant is located in the Grand Timber Lodge, building six. The restaurant has a nice ski lodge ambiance. Our service, Mike, was great. Friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was really good. Generous portions, tasted really good, and good quality. The prices are typical tourist resort high, but worth it. The drinks, that Mike made for us were also very good. Great meal, great experience. Would eat here again. read more

Waiting on your staying at the Grand Timber Lodge and after a long day of shopping in downtown Breckenridge we were looking for an easy way to have dinner. Stinky boot was just the option since it was only a short walk away all indoors. The only thing better than the food was the service. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak although it's not called that and a side of fries. The Cheesesteak was tasty cheesy and a mountain full of french fries. We were seated by Robbie who was attentive and fast and our server, Laken, was pleasant to talk with and helpful. We've been staying at GTL for 15 years and the Boot is a welcome change. The previous establishment was okay but we rarely went. Once we discovered the new menu at the Boot we stopped by numerous times this trip alone. Staff: Mike, Nicki & Emma were friendly and attentive. We had a garden salad one day that was top-notch as was the cheese steak sandwich a few days later. Drink prices are some of the best around. We'll be back for sure. read more

We hung out after a long day of skiing and absolutely loved the upbeat and welcoming atmosphere. Nikki greeted us with a smile, took care of all of our needs, and encouraged comradery amount the patrons. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent, and will be back to visit Nikki. Great bar. Super friendly staff. Green tea shots are 100% on point! Great tunes and the TVs are showing all the great sports needed :) I will certainly be coming back again. And will also recommend ordering the cheesesteak. read more
