Happy happy broccoli sal.

Place it the best. For sure get the broccoli salad. Wowza. Crazy the best. Cool atmosphere. Annie is the best ever.

Fantastic vegan pizza place! The cooking staff is very friendly and they can cook you up a delicious pizza. I enjoyed my drinks there. You can donate to a good cause, too, with certain drinks. It has an outdoor patio, too, but it was too hot that day for me. Our host was delightful, too. A cool dude! This is our second time here and I've loved it every single time.

"Where's the Meat?" vegan pizza with a veggie pepperoni, sausage, meat crumble and onion
Kate M.

This is among the best vegan pizzas I've ever had! During my visit to Breck, I ordered the "Where's the Meat?" speciality pizza with (all vegan) Italian sausage, meat crumble and pepperoni. I told my family: This tastes like what I imagine a "real" dairy and meat pizza should taste like. I enjoyed it so much I went back the next day and tried a Pizza Roll, served with a side of brussels sprout slaw. Both were delicious, though the Where's the Meat? pizza was definitely the highlight. I also tried the Sweet Knots. These were only OK. If the icing were creamier and thicker, it would have up-leveled.

NOT the Mr White
Missy G.

Ordered a Mr White pizza. Got some pepperoni sausage fest. Not everyone needs to eat fake meat to survive. Some of us just like plants. Arrived home. Ready to eat dinner and open the box to sausage fest. (Check the order before leaving or send the wife in to do the job right!) Could we call and request that our pizza be fixed and we could pick up a new one? NOPE, since they don't answer the phone. Had to return to the restaurant, wait for the new pizza. . . Staff were gracious and speedy. Would have given higher stars if communication had been possible. You are a business. Learn to communicate: answer the phone for your f-ups. Mushroom app was delicious. Dessert was delicious, cute take home reusable mason jars.

best vegan pizza ever. most wouldn't even notice it's plant based! not sure what brand cheese they use but i've never had plant based cheese that melts as good as theirs. wood-fire oven so everything is cooked to perfection. the appetizers are all 10/10. i recommend the sample of all appetizers for your first time in. my favorite pizza is the DMT, but you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu! the servers there are lovely and nice. it smells so good inside and just feels cozy, all year long. please support this great restaurant. it's the only plant-based kitchen in town, and that's not easy to stay in business. it's real, good, filling pizza. not just plant-based as a gimmick. i promise you will enjoy it, so give it a shot even if you aren't vegan or vegetarian. you won't regret it.

Spicy buffalo pizza roll

No wonder that this place pops up to be one of the best vegan restaurants in town, this place is awesome!!! The food is delicious - everything from appetizers, to shareables, pizzas and the dessert, this place had a unique delicious flavor. The staff was very nice, they made us feel super welcome. When you walk in the door, the first thing you notice is their gigantic pizza oven. Open kitchen! Everything was freshly made and served with love. Highly recommend the jalapeño poppers, and DMT pizza. Spicy buffalo soldier pizza roll very awesome, for me. But if tangy, BBQ sauce is not your thing, then steer away from it. The one thing to note is that its a small space, so it can get easily crowded in the restaurant.

Stopped in for a bite after a hike. Great rooftop patio vibes. I got a beer and the Pesto pizza. The pizza was really yummy and love their crust! Service was super friendly too. Great spot!

Wood fired olives!

Our little fall-color catching getaway to Breckenridge yesterday was nicely concluded by stopping at this pizzeria for a quick lunch. And I can only say positive things about this cute place. This was recommended by my daughter as she had dined here with her BF a few months earlier. She said she had an amazing hand-crafted pizza so when I told her that I sort of had this little pizza craving, she wasted no time to tell me about it. It was during the peak lunch hour at/around 12:32pm on a Thursday. We did see a good number of people walking on the main street but to our surprise, when we arrived, there was only one table that had just been sat by a couple. We got lucky there. For our appetizer, we ordered Wood-fried olives and for our main dish, we got El Jefe. And I'll go ahead and explain one by one: Wood-fired olive: What a great idea to serve olives warm first of all. all the ingredients (rosemary, thyme, garlic and lemon rind) harmonized so well in the oil. And the olives that were lightly cooked in the hot oil with the spices were amazingly tasty. And we, of course, placed them on the lightly toasted crostini bread pieces and popped them in our mouths. This was absolutely yummy. El Jefe: What's magic about this pizza is DEFINITELY the shiitake mushrooms and you cannot argue with me here! This Spanish influenced pizza's got some kick to it. The fresh green pepper was cooked on the dough/cheese to a perfection (not too done or not too raw); my daughter doesn't even like green pepper but she didn't say a thing about it. But like I said, the magician on the pizza were the shiitake mushrooms. This truly compliments the whole taste of it and I was quite shocked with it. Now the price for this pizza is a bit high at $27. However, it's definitely big enough to be shared between two people. And for this quality, I certainly didn't mind the price I paid for it. It was simply good might be an understatement but you know what I mean? Oh, let's not forget. Our waiter, Oraine, was pleasant to us. At the end of the meal, when he brought us our check, it was between the pages of the colorful yellow book by Dr. Seuss, "One fish two fish red fish blue fish". How cute is that!! This place is legit. They are A plant based, wood fired, house made pizza joint. It's probably one of the best pizza places I've ever been to if it's not the best. Now I have a reason as to why I should frequent Breckenridge more often going forward. I SUPPORT!

The food here is really old, which sounds like a bad thing but in this case it's actually really good because it's sourdough that's been aged for nine years (kinda like how cheese does that I think). They kinda incorporate it into every single part of the meal, which is really cool. I mean if you have a theme stick to it, you go girl! It also kinda feels like a mining company store in here, which is really silly. I don't remember our servers name, half of my party think it's Eric and the other half think it's Evan, but either way he was mega awesome sauce (I just asked and his name is Torin, we were really far off sorry). The deserts were heavenly, the Tiramisu was beautiful and you can tell they made it in house. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE COOKIES!! Woah dude, they were crazy. I now can whole heartedly tell you I know what Kermit meant when he said "Wherever you find love, it feels like Christmas". Top 10 pizzas, beats NYC and puts Brooklyn in a head to head match. Even the guy on the bus from Chicago said it gave his local place back home a run for its money!

First things first -- the views. Huge windows looking out toward the slopes and mountains make it feel like you're sitting inside a snow globe with a drink in hand. Cozy lodge vibes, warm lighting, and that perfect après-ski energy even if you didn't touch a pair of skis all day. I went straight for the beef stew, and it was exactly what the moment called for. Rich, hearty, slow-cooked flavor with tender beef, vegetables, and that deep savory broth that basically warms you from the inside out. If you're cold from the mountain air, this bowl fixes everything. The beverages were flowing, and the bar is a great place to park for a bit and soak up the scenery. Big shoutout to Alec the bartender -- awesome hospitality, friendly, attentive, and the kind of bartender who makes you feel like you've been coming there for years even if it's your first visit. It began with check-in... the host appeared distressed and mumbled something about making sure her large party gets seated (not us) without properly acknowledging us. She left to go check on something and we kept waiting. When she came back, she was exasperated, but friendly and had us sat promptly. I wondered to my family if perhaps they were understaffed that night. Maybe? But there did seem to be plenty of staff running around and it seemed to be at 65% capacity. But when I say they were running, I mean RUNNING. It was almost comical and out of an SNL skit -- I kept asking my family facetiously what they were running FROM? But ironically, the service was glacial as many reviewers have pointed out. Appetizers and drinks went smoothly enough. The food was disappointing from the start... fried ravioli was chewy, bruschetta was soggy, and the caprese salad was nothing special. The standout of the entire night was the fried brussel sprouts, surprisingly tasty. Credit where credit is due!!! The main course is where things went further south. Penne a la vodka lacked the distinctive tangy flavor, rigatoni had a really one noted and heavy peppery kick, and the bolognese was unremarkable. The bus boy then only partially cleared our tables, took the plates but left the sauce covered silverware (never to be cleared, which was gross). We waited probably 15 minutes for server to return to get the check.. during which the food runner serving the table next to us dropped a family sized bowl of pasta onto the floor and my cream colored sneakers. It happens, no shade to the bus boy, but can't help but draw parallels to how fast the servers seemed to be rushing to and from the tables as if they were being chased...My family was in good spirits and laughing about all of this, by the way. Finally, our server returns, and insisted that we have an "on the house" dessert for the birthday girl (my sister was celebrating her 30th and engagement). We agreed, but decided we needed a second to look. She was gone for probably another 10 minutes, we ordered, and asked for the check. Another 10 or so minutes go by. The desserts arrive without any silverware. The food runner brings some, they're dirty. So the waitress ultimately bring some over that were clean enough. My fudge cake was yummy (again, being fair here), but all the others were not. We were most disappointed that the tiramisu, advertised as being made daily in house, lacked coffee flavor and coloring, and much too heavy on the cream. After finishing dessert we waited and waited. I decided to flag down the host as she weaved through the other servers like a 6 lane highway in Atlanta . "Excuse me, miss," I said, to which she responded by holding up a finger at me and saying something about her other table. "Oh," I exclaimed in surprise. She later looped back eventually and apologized, taking the check from us. Our initial server returns for the check a few minutes later, and I informed her that I'd given the check to the host/manager (?). \ Once she returned with the check, she said she "heard" about what happened and was so sorry. I jokingly said, "which part?" Which in hindsight I feel bad about. Sorry to that waitress. The restaurant ultimately comped 3 of the desserts, which was nice. Overall, the ambiance was frenetic, the food bad/mediocre, and the service slow. That said, my family got a great laugh out of the whole thing, and thus I give 2 stars instead of 1.
