Hands down best pizza joint in the Rockies! First off, the wings are incredible. Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Not to mention the quality and size of the wings are next to none. All the flavors are DELICIOUS, but the Honey Old Bay ones are the absolute BEST! I literally have dreams about these wings. The pizza is just as awesome. The crust has that ideal texture--crispy yet chewy--and the toppings are fresh and generous without overwhelming the pie. You can tell there's real care put into every pizza that comes out of the kitchen. Scrappy's has a laid-back vibe that makes you want to hang out, whether you're there with friends, family, or just grabbing a quick bite. Last but not least, I have to mention Nick, the owner. He clearly takes pride in what he does and goes out of his way to make sure customers feel welcome and taken care of. That personal touch really elevates the whole experience. Growing up in Boston, I've had my share of excellent pizza over the years. So when my band was recently in Dillon, Colorado and I saw that they had East Coast style pizza... Of course I was skeptical. Boy, did they change my mind! The pizza was fantastic. The Philly cheese steaks were great. And the Buffalo wings were straight out of Buffalo. Great service! Friendly staff, and checked in on us several times. The small Italian chop salad was yummy, and big enough to share. Ordered the gluten free cauliflower pizza with pepperoni. I thought there could have been more topping on it. Crust was good but the rest was kinda limp. Came here for pizza on a Monday night around 6 pm. Lots of room in the parking lot and many open tables. The lady behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a small bbq cheese pizza for ~$27. The pizza was pretty big and average. Not the worst pizza but not my favorite. I really wanted to love this place. The prices are ridiculous... $20 for what they say is 14" but it sure seems smaller. $24 or $28 (?) for the larger one. The thing I find insulting is when you order on the website, you HAVE to leave a tip for takeout. WHY!? I'm driving there in a snowstorm to pick it up to save the delivery charge, yet, I have to pay it anyway? And, the options are 25%, 20%, and 15%... for TAKE OUT. There's no "no tip" option... that's on top of already overpaying for pizza. Then, the pizza was so sloppy, looked like ovals. And, it was under-cooked, chewy like dough. Plus, they are super skimpy on toppings. I always want to support local spots instead of chains but I wish I went to a chain place instead... at least you know what you're getting. read more

I've been coming here since this place was called Jersey Boys pizza, under a previous owner. The new owner renamed it Scrappy's and changed the rock, Led Zeppelin, album-covers-as-decor into a place with a Scooby Doo groove vibe. While the new owner changes the vibe, she inherited the pizza recipe. The previous owner grew up in the Jersey town next to the one where I was raised. And his pizza was a slice of East Coast heaven. Under new ownership, the pizza had largely tasted the same. Thin, foldable crust; a bite if oregano in that sweet sauce or "gravy," for you Eas Coasters. Last night, however, while the pizza was still good, it wasn't quite as good. I think the crust was a little too thin, and it definitely didn't have enough pizza sauce. The dining room corners were pretty dirty, and the bathroom looked like people were living in it. That being said, the staff is attentive and nice. And it's easy enough to toss a little more red gold on the pizza and run a mop through the dining room, so it won't deter me. I'll be back. read more

Pretty disappointing, skip it if you're on the fence. Really wanted a local joint to be good but idk what they are doing in there. It's super overpriced for what you get both in product and service. The employees were sitting around playing switch and didn't give us marinara for the breadsticks. Got our first pizza without sauce, it was bbq chicken so we figured they would just give us a swirl on top after we let them know. They insisted on making a brand new pie which was nice but after a 15 min wait then they barely put any bbq sauce on it anyways... so that's confusing? The pie tastes fine, but 30+ dollars for a large pizza with barely any toppings and a couple squirts of BBQ sauce is pretty wild. Save your money, go down the street for the other options. The branding and the colorful inside is cute tho, just wish the pizza and attention to detail matched the premium price. read more
