We order the fettuccine Alfredo, arugula salad, Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, calamari. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Just know the portion sizes of entrees are small but are pricey. Appetizers were good size but for example fettuccine is $28 and adding a protein is + $12. That's a lot of for a small amount of pasta and 8 shrimp. Our waitress was great. read more

Definitely not my favorite. Seemed understaffed- the table next to us took forever to order, get their food and forever to get the tab. We came in after them, but we got everything before them! The French toast, which boasts that it has Palisade Peaches, came in without peaches. I asked for the peaches and they came with about 15 small cubes cut of peaches. Not slices, teeny cubes! The cream for it was very watery and in a tiny container. The burger was not even as good as a Wendy's burger... Disappointing! Bun was very thick. Can make a better burger at home. The menu is pretty standard with pancakes, French toast, omelettes, sandwiches/bagels, etc. I got the sunrise BLT (a regular BLT with egg) with hashbrowns and it was pretty good. It probably wasn't worth the price ($17.00) for the portion or presentation but it wasn't disappointing by any stretch. The service was very slow for a half full restaurant. The waitress took 15 minutes to take our order and then about as long to come check on us again and again to get our check. I noticed the waiter wait on other tables, bring out food, and cash out his patrons that got there after us and we were waiting on the woman (maybe mid thirties?) the entire time. Inside the restaurant was clean, well decorated, and inviting. I really enjoyed the bar presentation and the cabin-like theme is right on par for Frisco. Everything about this place is amazing! From entering into a warm cozy atmosphere to the outstanding food to the over the top staff. We had dinner here to celebrate my 75th birthday, along with my family of 8, and enjoyed every moment. We all ordered different entrees & each one was delicious. A decent choice for Italian food in Frisco. The food took a while to come out, but they bright fresh bread to help pass the time and the host and waiters were all very friendly. Certainly more of an upscale ambiance than many of the other restaurants on this gorgeous Main Street. I ordered the Rocky Mountain Ruby Red Trout. It was well cooked, but the main and its sides all lacked flavor. The Corsara Fettucini and Truffle Fries were both delicious, but not worth their prices. We had a party of 6 come in at around 11:15am on a Tuesday - Host was hospitable and welcoming. We jumped in on a whim with no reservation before the lunch rush, but were attracted to the reasonable prices. We ordered 6 dishes at 11:30ish which promptly came out at 11:48 - great timing and all came out together. What really set this experience apart was our server Braulo (I do hope I'm spelling that correctly). He was attentive, and we didn't have to wave him down for a second round of drinks or to order our entrees. He combined the experience centered side of italian hospitality (not rushing us at all, didn't offer the check or rush us until we asked for it) with the attentiveness of american hospitality (coming to ask how things are after two minutes, coming to refill water and making recommendations). Food was delicious - I was the only one who needed a box which usually doesn't happen with my large party. I ordered the avocatini green sandwich (as attached). Everyone licked their plates clean. Restaurant was clean and ambiance was set with twinkle lights and calming music. 11/10 recommend!! read more

Very disappointed on the night of New Year's Eve , wanted something very nice with my boyfriend something new and fresh, we've been to bagalis before for breakfast , and had no complaints . We ordered a cheese plate which looked like a 4 year old made it , we ordered two pizzas , a coors light and a coors banquet both were warm . We even made a reservation and I'm just very bummed out about this place so many people recommended it but it's not that appealing. read more

The impression I had at Christmas dinner was that this is a well run restaurant that produces quality, refined food, serves excellent wines and mixed drinks, and very importantly values its guests. We liked the comfortable cafe vibe Bagali provides in downtown Frisco, but seating is mostly if not entirely hard, wood chairs at normal and bar height. Service was en pointe, professional, very attentive and prompt from start to finish. Drinks. Wine - the California Cab and especially the French Ganache were exceptionally delicious! The Prosecco Brut was also worth tasting, the Mule got good marks. This may sound out of place, but even the drip coffee was really good - a very welcome surprise at the end of a delicious meal where many others disappoint. The menu has some standard Italian fare, from pizzas to a must try Bolognese sauce on house made pasta - excellent! The Caesar salad was very nice and light with freshly grated, at the table, Parmesan cheese. Then there are some more adventurous, Italian-Mexican fusion dishes like the braised Colorado lamb with queso, chiles, cilantro, corn and again house made pasta. The lamb pasta was my choice and I am glad I stepped out of the more traditional options to try it. However, while I was advised in advance by our waiter that the sauce is a bit watery by design, I can't say that I really loved that aspect of the dish. The grilled Chilean salmon faced some stiff competition as you can see, but arguably, won the contest for best dish of the evening. Another must try. Two of us shared the tiramisu and I will say if you have become jaded by mediocre tiramisu, then you should really try Bagalis. Lastly, we could ,see how parking might be a problem at peak times, but on December 25 we lucked out and were able to park right in front of the restaurant. read more

Most of the food was good. One person in our party got pancakes which were not cooked through. After waiting over 45 minutes for our food we stopped a manager and asked if he could look into it. He said it had only been 20 minutes (which he hadn't) and asked what we wanted him to do. Then as he walked away he said something about us being on vacation and just enjoy. We actually were just hungry and wanted our food. Other groups had come and gone in the time we were waiting for our food. Too bad the manager was a jerk and didn't even offer to do anything. In from out of town and picked up takeout for my family. We got the burratta, lasagna and linguine Alfredo (added chicken to it). The Burratta was fantastic, the lasagna was reheated but decent and for $40 plate of linguine I definitely didn't appreciate the chicken was overcooked & dry. So to be honest, I'm a little confused if I'm reviewing the correct place. I went into Bagalis because I saw they had truffle fries. When I went to order food they had a menu for Bread+Salt which I ordered off of and then asked about the Truffle Fries I saw posted on the window outside and added those as as side. The Truffle Fries were really good (tad pricey) but the Truffle Scramble wasn't my favorite. Overall, the experience was pretty average. It was like they didn't want me and my family there or to serve us, food came out 45 minutes after order,, it was cold server never once came to our table to check on us, refill our waters and I had to keep getting up to ask for things. I am not generally inclined to offer one-star reviews, but this place exceeded my expectation...for one of the worst I've ever been. I am old. I've been around for decades, eaten out for decades. So, why? The service was outstanding from our waiter, Jacob. Great personality, very attentive, recognizing what we needed before we needed it! He got a very generous tip. BUT (notice the big "but"), the food was expensive and not worth it either in quality, flavor, or serving size for the price. Meat seems in shorth supply in their dishes and if you wanted meat you pay an ADDITIONAL $12+ for the privilege. Lasagna with no meat is very California boring. I'm in Colorado, so screw California. We have far too much California as it is. We don't need California food and California prices. the kicker was the Martini. $18. For a stingy shot, too much ice. To rub in the humiliation, they charged me $14 for the Vodka, $4 of the Vermouth and $2 FOR ICE!!!! What a rip-off. Greed runs rampant here. I bitched about the charge for frozen water and it was begrudgingly removed, the generosity overwhelming me. My advice: STAY AWAY. If you want Italian, this IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. read more

Had a delicious meal with family. We each got a different dish. I ordered the Burrata appetizer for the table and it was amazing! The pistachios and honey put it over the top. For my meal, I had the pesto linguini and it was delicious! I chose not to add a protein but my mother gave me some of her grilled chicken. The chicken was so tender and the fresh basil and linguini noodles were to die for! We didn't get desert because the little ones wanted ice cream from down the street. The only meal anyone wasn't happy with was my brother. he got the lasagna. He had never had it the way it was prepared but described it as chicken pot pie with lasagna noodles. it just wasn't his jam. The service was incredible (and nice to look at). I think his name was something like "Flo" and he was Romanian. The ambiance was dimly lit, upper-scale casual vibe. The music was more of a party vibe but it made us giggle. I was really excited for this place. The decor and ambiance is nice - we were seated within 10 mins. But it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive, with no updates from our server. In fact, they seemed annoyed when I asked for the status of our order. When we got our food, the penne bolognese was overcooked. As in, the penne was literally falling apart on the plate. The sauce was below average - the tomato sauce was too acidic and tasted worse than the marinara sauce you get at the grocery store. The worst part? I paid $30 for this. I did tell the waiter that the pasta was over cooked, nothing was corrected and I wasn't going to wait another 30 minutes to eat. My friend got a tomato bisque soup and it was also extremely acidic and underwhelming. My recommendation - don't come here. It's overpriced and for a supposedly Italian place, it's ridiculous that they overcook the pasta. read more
