I enjoyed shooting pool and having drinks at Moose Jaw. They had Aperol Spritz's and a wide selection of alcohol. Their pool tables only take quarters but the bartender can give you change. Pool tables are a dollar and in good condition. I came here twice. Unfortunately, the bathroom is very small and right by the pool tables. First time, there was a really bad smell from the men's room, which was quite unfortunate when you're shooting pool nearby. read more

Sometimes "OK" is perfect. Three stars is the only valid rating for this place. Drinks are ok, bartenders are ok, and the food is ok. No frills bar on Main Street in Frisco. Easy to get a seat on a non peak Friday. Dark old school place with lots of of dark wood, moose decor, and softball trophies. Had Athletic NA cans which was really nice. Other than that they are a self described "and" bar in that it's a "whiskey and coke" or "vodka and tonic" type place, so don't go with expectations of a curated and fancy cocktail service. Zero pretensions place that served as a stop for what appeared to be well heeled tourists as well as townies as well. Food was frozen Sysco/king Soopers type bar grub. We needed a stretch break on our travel through Colorado, so stopped in Frisco on a Sunday afternoon. We parked in front and were drawn by the cute shady patio. I should have checked the reviews. This is a bar, rather than a restaurant, so no patio service. We ordered chicken fingers and beverages at the bar and took them to the patio. The chicken fingers were just okay. Clearly Sysco frozen variety, but cooked nicely. The fries were nice and crispy. The side sauces were served in pouches. Restroom was clean, but tiny. So nothing special here. We ate, we left. Such a nice little dive bar in Frisco. Local's hang out here, so it's not super annoying like other touristy areas. It's just a vibe when you walk in. It feels so homey and has so much of the towns history on the walls. We stopped in for a quick bite to eat due to a lot of other places being closed. We both got "the Jaw" burgers, so a cheeseburger with bacon added. It was so yummy! Sometimes you just need a good ole bar burger and I was very pleased with what I was given. A classic ski town bar, the menu is very typical pub grub - burgers, chili etc. a good mix of mega breweries beers and regional Colorado beers. Burger was right on, tasty good sized and full of flavor. Staff was quick and kept up prompt service till we asked for the check. Type of place that has 50 years of apres ski history on the wall and made you want to be a part of it. The Moose Jaw is a friendly locals' dive bar, with good cheeseburgers (try the "Mother Lode") and fish and chips (recommended); cheap drinks add to the overall satisfaction. We were apprehensive after reading other reviews, but were instantly at ease with the welcoming atmosphere and festive Easter peeps tree. Also approve of the art in the women's restroom. Love the simple menu... make decisions easier... I had the Moose Burger (burger w ham slice) and was wowed. Great grilled burger. Flavorful and done just right. Didn't overburden the plate with too many fries. 2 other orders at the table were hamburger with cheese and their renowned chili. Compliments all around. You'll notice no silverware (plastic ware), instead serving on paper plates and with packaged condiments. It doesn't change the taste of the food. Wasteful? You'll have to decide which is more important to you... saving the dishwashing water, or saving the landfill items, unless they "totally" recycle. For me, they keep it simple, excel at what they do, charge very reasonable prices. read more
