Place is outstanding. We live did Florida, but come up to Colorado three or four times a year. We love this restaurant. The food is always high-quality. Delicious perfectly cooked. They've got some amazing soups. Service is very good. And it's consistently delicious. Price is very reasonable, and I would highly recommend it. I can't believe, they've gotten some negative reviews, but I highly suggest when you're out skiing to come take a try. They have a huge selection of sushi rolls, that are very fresh and very delicious. And once again, their soups are outstanding. Went here for the hibachi, so can't comment on the other side of this restaurant as they do separate it in two parts. Pretty much like most other hibachi places, so nothing too much more to comment on. The staff had difficulty understanding orders, but the chef was good and had at least a little more personality to him as well. The quantities were decent, although of course majority of it ends up being vegetables versus rice and meat. They do cook it well though, and the taste was good as well. Overall, I think for the price you pay it's a pretty good deal considering you get the whole experience behind it as well. read more

Place was good, but nothing special. The place had no dine-in, only take out, even though other businesses were allowing dine-in at the time. We ordered from the hibachi and got grilled shrimp and the Filet mignon. It was served with fried rice, vegetables and Miso soup. The filet was good. I was staying near Nozawa and after walking by saw a sign that they had a deal on take out sushi among other items and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered online and the sale items were very clearly highlighted so there was no confusion as to what was on sale or wasn't. After sending in my order Nozawa gave me an estimated time as to when it would be ready and beat that time by 5-10 minuets. The food was excellent and the rolls were delicious. I got a variety of specialty rolls due to the great deals they had and they were well worth it. Enjoyed hibachi here, good atmosphere and very friendly staff. The hibachi chef put on a great demonstration that was interactive with guests. I had the chicken entree hibachi which was very tasty as were the vegtables, I do however think they need to improve on their fried rice as I wasnt entirely impressed, lacked flavor. My husband at urgent care right now after eating sushi last night.. vomiting & diarrhea since late last night. Service was very poor, server been ignoring us the whole dinner. I'm up in Silverthorne regularly but hadn't tried this place until last weekend. I'm a bit of a sushi snob so I wasn't sure if it'd be up to par, but I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered online which was super easy and efficient. We're in full COVID swing up here and pickup was as safe as it could have been - we just walked up to the window and they passed the bag through to us. We mostly ordered rolls (the Monkey Roll, the Spicy Scallop, and the Sesame Crust Tuna Rolls were all excellent) but I can also recommend the mussels appetizer and the gyoza. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the sushi and the wait staff made the experience that much better. My wife and I had 4 rolls and all were wonderful with lite cool flakey rice. Ok so here is the deal, the ambiance might not be your thing as this is in a strip center but the sushi quality being in a Mtn Town was amazing. We had Yellowtail, Tune, Tai, and 5/6 rolls and everything was so good we are going back. In particular if you like rolls this place rocks but the fish in general was excellent. I wouldn't order the eel though it was served kind of cold. Everything else was amazing! read more

We have been coming here or doing take out monthly and the quality of the food is consistently good. Ordering take out online is easy. Due to my sesame allergy I usually indicate on the order item by item as there is no option to do so broadly over the entire order. But if I forget "no sesame" on 1 or 2 items, I promptly get a call asking about it, thank you. Quick processing and well-packaged for the ride home (I always order miso soup). Last weekend we ordered picnic for 4 people to attend "1st Friday" concert and it was perfect. Just grab the bags and everything for dinner is inside. Will do that again. 2 days later did take out for 5 people at home, again, they did everything right, this time I also ordered sakes and they were well chilled, ready to be served. Good fish in a landlocked state isn't easy to find. It gets worse in the mountains unless it's one of the high end restaurants in Vail. So wasn't expecting much from a shopping center sushi joint. I was wrong! Fish was fresh and good! We had a few sashimi items and some rolls. The yellow tail with jalapeño & mango appetizer were my favorite. But the rolls were also good. Each layer added flavor and texture exactly what sushi should be. When sauces were added they enhanced the flavor and weren't overbearing. The 40% special prices were a bonus. read more
