Miso Ramen Pork Gyoza(6Pcs)
Pam J.

The takeout is packaged nicely. I had spicy miso ramen. It took the chill off on a cold night. However there was nothing special about the dish. I ordered additional mushrooms, although I was charged there only appeared to be a normal ammonia of mushrooms. My husband had Thai noodles that he said were mediocre.

Hell Spicy Ramen

Had the hell spicy ramen. Asked for it to be very spicy and to me it was just a medium heat. Service was good and attentive. Hit the greatest ramen I've ever had but we are also in the mountains of Colorado.

This is a cute ramen and sushi place. Both my kids enjoyed their chicken and tonkatsu ramen. I ordered nigiri (uni, yellowtail and salmon) and the chubby roll with my husband. They all tasted very good, but half way through I had a stomach ache and stopped eating. I think it was due to the bubble tea that I ordered (maybe they use real milk vs creamer). Also the service was really inattentive. They didn't check on us after our food was dropped off, and I waited 15 minutes or more until I waved them over to get a Togo box and the bill.

Wanted to give this 3.5 stars for the record, but of course Yelp still doesn't allow that. Service was mediocre, food quality was decent, and portions were decent as well. Nothing to write home about, but potentially worth another visit if in the area and not feeling any of the other options around.

Yummy restaurant in silverthorne!! We started with the pork buns and edamame which had just the right amount of salt. The service was great to begin with but then they got busy and it took a while to get our check. I had the marvel roll with spicy tuna on the inside and then tuna, salmon, and yellowtail on top with spicy mayo!! Would recommend for sure!!

Edamame with sweet chili sauce. Was just chili sauce no sweet.

The vibe is excellent in this restaurant. Clean tables, fun and also beautiful decor, eclectic menu with signature sushi rolls, and a youthfulness that adds vibrancy and energy to the place. Unfortunately, it wasn't packed, which is somewhat of a red flag when it comes to restaurants, but that's was okay, we were open to being the first to discover a great new spot. The servers were friendly and cleared a booth for us. The cloth to wipe down smelled a bit old which made the table stink a bit. Eek. We ordered some sushi, ramen, tempura, gyoza, and edamame. The kids got Thai tea with boba for drinks. Food came out pretty quickly, which was a surprise. Overall, it was okay. Nothing really to complain about except the texture of the boba was entirely way too soft to the point of just drinking slime. It wasn't great, we likely will never return because we weren't impressed by anything really. The tempura was way too heavily battered but still tasted okay. The sushi also tasted fine, but nothing that wowed us. And the ramen lacked depth of flavor--one piece of pork was all fat and no meat--plus the kimchi ramen was an odd flavor combo with the tonkotsu broth. Honestly nothing to really fault or was bad--we didn't have to return anything besides a mix up of a bowl of miso ramen vs kimchi ramen--it just wasn't that delicious. They've got some kinks to work out. I think the foundation for things is there. It may need some time or revamping for some dishes, but overall, if you're absolutely craving Japanese and need something close or convenient, you could do a lot worse than here. They get the job done, but need a bit more refining to do.

Groups be careful! They put on a service charge which is not stated on the menu. I added on a tip without knowing.... Luckily the removed it after multiple phone calls.

Amazing. Chef Wong delivers amazing food. The waiter from Bali was super friendly. I can wait to get back to Silverthorne to try more of the food.

Walked into here on a Tuesday night, it wasn't packed at all but we didn't have a reservation. The…read moreonly thing they had was a high top at the "sushi bar". The sushi bar wasn't really lively, they block the view overall so you don't get a "sushi bar" experience from the chefs. Our waiter seemed flustered because he was understaffed but we put our orders in for drinks and tried to make the best of it. I ordered a mocktail and it was so sour you couldn't drink it. So I asked for a different drink. When we got our miso soup it was so salty that none of us at our table couldn't finish it. The "bread" for the table isn't impressive and they decided to plate our entire groups order on a skateboard? Which had paint chipping off of it? (Food grade? Probably not) Like a lot of other reviews it's confusing here. The sushi....the sushi was warm. My cuts of fish on my nigiri's that were raw were warm. The monster spider roll was rolled so bad that the nori sheet was hard to chew. As the night went on tables weren't used, and we could have sat at a table with the turn around times we saw. Overall, for the price they charge it's not worth it. Go into downtown Breckenridge if you're looking for sushi because this isn't it.

Really underwhelmed here. Best note is that they are open…read moretill 10 and service was fast... or more like rushed. I got the Short rib which at $38 was SO NOT WORTH IT. As far as I could tell it was an incredibly dry piece of chuck swimming in salty thick meatloaf gravy. It was edible, but only because I was hungry and knew what it cost... you needed water to get the meat down. Asparagus was good. I started with a specialty roll, the Hot Hippie w/salmon. $20 (12 plain. 8 for the fish). Good but not $20 good. I guess I'm used to specialty roles being oversized, which this was not. Also got the Iwai old fashioned. Tasted like a glass full of crushed ice with whiskey. Could barely tell it was an old fashioned. So, my meal was $80 before tip, nothing was great, I'd try somewhere else or maybe just different options. The front bar seemed lively and fun. Maybe that's the better call with an attentive bartender and conversation.

We told two workers and the host that a group in front cut but they literally did nothing about it. They should at least leave a clipboard for people to write their names. The food was decent. The spring rolls with shrimp and avocado was good. The pho ga (chicken pho) was alright... the chicken was dry chicken breast and the noodles were not pho ga noodles. They were regular pho noodles but the soup was good and hit the spot after a cold day.

I'm not sure if they have a private parking but we were able to find some street parking. For a big group we were able to get seated right away even though the space was a bit tight. I have tried their Thai tea and their filet mignon pho. Thai tea 2/5- this was overly sweet. I couldn't even finish it at all. There were any barely tea and more milk than anything else. Filet mignon pho- the broth was hearty with good flavor. This was a great choice after hitting the slopes. I do have to say the meat could have been more tender. However, overall, it was a good bowl of pho. The portion for regular size was fairly large. Two people could have potentially shared. The server was really attentive and I would come back if we are back in town.

We came here on our moms weekend, and managed to get into this spot for an early dinner at 5pm…read moresame-day (hence, moms trip). Overall a great spot! - Service: 5-star. Our waiter was very attentive and flexible, and willing to cook my pork a little bit longer (if you don't like pork on the rare side... ask for it to be medium-well) - Food quality: 4-5 star. First of all, the bread and butter was to die for... but we ate too much of it and couldn't finish our meals because we were starving after some skiing that day. I ordered the pork dish which had awesome flavor, just a little undercooked which they fixed no problem. Friends ordered the half chicken, wedge salad, and mussels. All were great but the chicken could have used more flavor (so I heard). - Cocktails: 4-5 stars. The dirty martini comes in a coup glass and felt very small, but the mezcal cocktail was perfection. I ordered two of those and asked to lighten the sweetness a bit. - Vibe: Classy-casual? We were dressed nice for dinner and did not feel out of place, but some were on the more casual side too. Overall a great pick for dinner, I don't think anyone would be disappointed!

I don't know about all the negative reviews and their niche experiences. This is a solid restaurant…read moreserving quality food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. The dishes were beautifully presented and well thought out. Had the mussels and croquettes and finished with the Panna cotta dessert which was a beautiful presentation almost michelin style. Wish we could have tried more dishes but we were full since the portions are generous. Not sure what else you could be looking for but this place hits all the criteria for a complete restaurant experience.
