Birria ramen
Lauren A.

The food was delicious, but the service was extremely slow. We went in February, and have only been once, so not sure if it's always like this. People were waiting 5 min + to even be seated or have a server greet them. Yikes

Came for the casino stayed for the food and drinks. I don't remember the name of this ramen but there was a little kick to it. Would definitely get this again but so many other good items on the menu as well. Introduced ramen to a complete newb and he loved it. This might be the spot for upcoming trips. The drinks were a show in and of itself. Staff here was super friendly. Not sure how fast or slow the service because I was with a large group and we were just having a ball. Definitely coming back.

Not the first time we come here and honestly one of the few good places in Black Hawk for some yummy food. They can get busy so make sure you allow for some wait time but it is worth it. Service has always been great despite the wait time. This place is open so you can still do lots of people watch with your dinner. The ramen is good, but their other dishes also satisfy. One recommendation are the pork buns so so good. The most recent ramen I tried was the wonton one and added some of the seasoning sauce which elevated the flavors of the broth. 10/10 and we sure will return although it turn out being a very expensive ramen experience . Stop by and get a nice warm bowl of ramen when the weather is cold up in the mountains

The Tonkotsu Premium was absolutely amazing, rich, flavorful, and so satisfying. I ordered spice level 5 out of 10 and it was the perfect heat without needing any extra chili oil, the balance was spot on. The lychee drink was sweet and refreshing and paired so well with the ramen. I loved that they offer garlic on the side and being able to mince and add fresh garlic to my bowl was such a fun and tasty touch. The portions are super generous and I was completely full by the end. The house salad was bigger than I expected, but it had a bit of a bitter taste, maybe from the dressing. The pork bun was super juicy and tender. It was great for appetizer. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Overall an amazing and perfect ramen spot and I will definitely be back.

Tan Tan Men Ramen - amazing depth of flavor
Susi H.

Truly enjoyed our first meal at Ameristar at Jinya. The food was delicious (especially the tan tan men which had a great flavor depth profile). The service was great, staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and very friendly. The ambiance is ok. It's immediately to the side of the casino floor and is an open space concept with gaming tables inside the space, so it can get loud if the casino is busy. However, the lighting is soft and the space feels open and inviting otherwise. One of the casinos stronger meal options.

Spicy Tankatsu Ramen was so delicious.

The food was delicious, Some of the best ramen I have had. The service was also great!

Vegan red fire opal
Adrienne B.

We came in for a late lunch and it wasn't very busy when we sat down but it got busy afterwards. We both ordered ramen and it didn't take too long to come out. I got the vegan red fire opal and my husband got the spicy chicken. We both really liked our ramen and my husband said it was some of the best ramen he has ever had. The service was slow getting our drinks refilled and my husband would have liked to order more noodles because he said the portion was a bit small. We would definitely come back here since not many restaurants in Blackhawk had vegan options and this place had several and serves impossible meat.

First time having ramen that wasn't from a package. It was pretty good, waitress was friendly and explained things to us. The restaurant is in the Ameristar casino.

That says it all!

Awesome experience! Anthony was professional with a great vibe. Delicious cucumber salad, crispy chicken, and delightful matcha ice cream. Lovely ambiance!

Spicy Chicken Ramen

Amazing spot for the casinos! You won't be disappointed when eating here, was happy to learn there is one in BlackHawk at Ameristar, immediately went and ordered the crispy chicken as an appetizer and the spicy chicken ramen medium heat, delicious! Aman the bartender took care of us and was very attentive.

JINYA is a MUST. The Birria Ramen and JINYA Chicken Ramen were delicious. The Matcha Tirumasu was the cherry on top.The staff from front to back are very welcoming and friendly. Jamiah was my server and I am definitely going to ask for her again. She was super attentive, knowledgeable on the menu and any questions I had especially when it came to substitutions, and just the sweetest! I can't wait to come back again for another one of a kind experience. Thank you!

Tokyo Curry Rice
Lauren H.

JINYA Ramen in @ameristarbh was delicious! I ordered the JINYA Bun and the Tokyo Curry Rice. The pork belly on the bun melted in your mouth which is always a 50/50 chance when I've eaten pork buns before. The Tokyo Curry was delicious too, but didn't have a lot of chicken. The servers and manager were so nice! They were attentive and were always checking on our water levels which I absolutely love! The prices seemed pretty fair in my opinion too!

Wow. Just wow…read more Nora's Speakeasy might be one of my favorite cocktail spots ever. The vibe is dark, elegant, and cool without trying too hard -- it really feels like a secret hideout (but in the best way). Drinks? Insanely good. Their "Nora's Version" menu reimagines classic cocktails with modern twists, and every single one we tried was a hit. Balanced, bold, and beautifully crafted. Food is simple but hits the spot -- charcuterie, grilled cheese, and pretzel bites that pair perfectly with the cocktails. Bonus: You get a welcome sip when you arrive! Such a fun touch that set the tone for a great night. Run, don't walk. Louisville, you've got something really special here.

I saw it had good ratings online; unfortunately I came on a day my stomach was already bothering me but I wanted to have a look. It's a very low light, date night vibe inside. The barista was super friendly, and I saw online they'd had a very sweet cocktail from a few years back - I asked her about it and she didn't have all the ingredients but offered to make me something similar. I declined because I felt like i shouldn't be drinking with my stomach feeling off, but it's exactly the type of place I like to check out, the menu was cool. I will definitely try to make it back one of these days when passing back through the area! Also had lots of free street parking all along the main road ~

And to stumble upon this chic and inconspicuous cocktail bar in the busy downtown was something I wasn't expecting and became a treat after a nice stroll through the town after dinner in my hotel room. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was at the place where my heart was calling for. There were two gents at the bar and one of them warmly greeted me and said I could sit anywhere I would like. I hence picked one of the bar seats. Except one table that was occupied by a couple I was the only one. I appeared to have picked the right time; I had the whole bar to myself (eventually though, several different groups of people streamed in; only a few of them sat at the bar close to me. The bar was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a little over 10 people.) Jeremy, who greeted me upon arrival, was a super host. As soon as I explained that wine is my usual got-to, he said he could mix and match reds and whites to create a "flight" based on what I had told him as to my likings. His extensive explanations as to what sorts of reds and whites the bar offers/serves was (of course) all in his memory. His eloquent speech with no filler words truly impressed me; he sure is a wine connoisseur. What he picked for me were... -2024 Pepiere "Les Gras Moutons" (Muscadet) -Kobal "Bajta", Hazole Belo (aka Orange Wine) -Sandlands "Red Table Wine (Lodi Red Blend) With his wealth of knowledge, after giving him only a hint of what I liked, what Jeremy selected for me to sample/sip was a superb choice. All of them were world-class excellence with elegance and beauty. I carefully and slowly sipped each one little by little to truly immerse myself in the art of wine. Yes, wine is a piece of art for sure. I think I said it correctly at the beginning of this review. This is a cocktail bar with variety of spirits which Jeremy could easily concoct just about anything from gin-based one to vodka-based one to tequila-based ones to whiskey-based one to name several. For those who don't drink, their zero-proof section also has something interesting to browse and choose. Not to mention, rotating pilsner or IPA on tap to name a few from the beer section as well. If you need a little bite to eat, their (changing) food menu has a good number of New American-style plates. The bar originally opened in a different building back in 2015 (I believe). They moved to the current location in 2019. They also offer various different classes so you can expand/extend your knowledge. So for your next foodie vacation in Vail, make sure to include Root & Flower in your list.

We have been friends for 26 years and we took a girls getaway to Breckenridge. I can't begin to say enough positive things about your establishment! The martinis were absolutely scrumptious. Christian is a dedicated young man, and as I told him he is like "an old soul in a young body". I mean that with the highest regard! He is completely squared away, he was personable, kind, and friendly while still tending to all of the guests that were there. One thing that impressed me the most is how he kept his bar so organized.....he has an incredible attention to detail... before he served any drink, he put a straw in it, pulled it out with his finger held over the top of the straw and sampled a taste of the drink, and then would throw the straw away. I've only seen this done at a few establishments, which I can tell you Cecilia is at the top of the list and the epitome of a wonderful experience! The only thing I would ask in return is that the owner of Cecilia's please recognize Christian for all of his efforts. Too often in life, people are very quick to complain about a negative experience and as a result, no one will take the time to reward positive experiences. I'm hoping as the owner of this establishment will recieve this message and anything else that you can do as an incentive for your employees will trickle down to Christian God Bless, Vicky & Anna

It felt super swanky and loved all the wood - felt like we were somewhere back in the 30s. The cocktail connoisseur behind the bar, Danny, makes you a custom made drink based your preferences. They can of course make standard drinks but what fun is that? In their menu, they have a list of the most popular liquors (gin, vodka, whiskey, rum, etc.) and then flavors that typically pair with those liquors. For example, I wanted some sort of whiskey sour and asked to make it with peach or ginger flavors. My husband asked for a gin drink with crème de violet and got a delicious play on an Aviation cocktail with aloe and rosemary simple syrup. Overall, a little bit of a hiccup to find it and get in, but the experience was awesome! You order at the counter and move along a cafeteria-style line filling your bowl with additions. We requested the Korean Chicken Wings which were described online as a "brown sugared sweet and savory sauce" but were stopped by the server who asked if we'd tried it before and if we liked spice. I like spice, but my husband isn't as big of a fan. The server told us "They're spicy. They're too spicy!" so we went for the Lil Dragon Wings at his recommendation. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen with grilled Wagyu beef which was grilled directly in front of me, and topped it with a ramen egg, corn and lime. The tables have little induction heaters on them which you can place your bowl on to reheat if they get too cold! I utilized this cool tool twice to reheat the broth after it had gotten below my preferred temperature. The wings were crispy and well seasoned, and we didn't feel deprived of any spice (so thank you to our server for your recommendation!). The Tonkotsu broth was super rich, flavorful and warming, the ramen noodles were perfect al dente, and the Wagyu steak was mind blowingly tender and delicious! I didn't get pictures this time, but would highly recommend both the wings and the ramen, and might risk the Korean wings next time, just to say I tried them!
