Having a long trip going from Iowa back to LA and dined in at this restaurant. Staffs are very friendly. All sushi are very fresh and tasty! The sashimi melted in my mouth. Loved the presentation of the food. Restaurant is very clean. Will definitely be back again when we are around the area.

Great sushi and ramen. Love that they have really tasty vegetarian sushi options too!

    Chicken Ramen... Yum!

The service here is always great. The food is good but limited menu selections. One of the better options here in Conifer.

I was so excited to see this new Japanese restaurant in town! First time getting takeout here but I was impressed with the the quality of the food! The chicken ramen was very flavorful thanks to the rich broth. The presentation was great for takeout food. I really enjoyed the spicy salmon roll! This is exactly what we need in Conifer. Highly recommend it!

We love this place! The people that work here are so kind. The food is delicious. We love the rolls and appetizers. They were able to host 15 of us. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but clean and always crowded.

Overpriced, and flavorless ramen. We ordered the tonkatsu ramen and the broth tasted like packaged ramen base from maruchan. Unfortunate.

We were seated fairly quick and was given water cups fast. We got a quick rundown of the menu, however we did have a newer server. We thought she did great as she constantly checked in on us and made sure that we were doing well. The takoyaki was a bit too doughy for my liking, but it was okay. The gyoza are on the other hand was absolutely perfect and needed no additional sauce except the one that came on it. When the black garlic Ramen came to the table, it had a slight flavor, but I would say it was pretty plain. We ended up asking for some of the sauce that was on the Gyoza for the soup base. When we added that to the soup base, it became 1000 times better. The noodles were cooked fairly well, but I would just say the broth needed a bit more flavor. Overall, it was a nice spot and we may be back to try other things.

For the Hawaiian portion of the menu, we ordered the Katsu chicken. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and dry. For sushi, we tried a mix of makimono and sashimi. It was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant is clearly popular and became very busy shortly after we arrived. The staff was wonderful, attentive and friendly, but overall, the food fell short for us, especially for those accustomed to authentic Japanese and Hawaiian flavors.

We were seated right away and given plenty of time to take in the restaurant's history and look through the menu. Our food came out quickly, and the staff was always nearby if we needed anything. We started with the cucumber salad and shrimp shumai. The cucumber salad was refreshing, but the shrimp shumai had a strong fishy smell and taste that didn't seem very fresh--I couldn't eat more than one. For my entrée, I ordered the nabeyaki soup with ramen noodles and chicken, and it was excellent. The soy-based broth was rich and flavorful without being too salty, and the ramen noodles were cooked perfectly--tender with just the right amount of bite. Overall, Domo offers a really special atmosphere and a memorable dining experience. I wouldn't recommend the shrimp shumai, but I'd definitely come back to try another ramen flavor, and to see the cats again.

You won't find fancy sushi here or fusion cooking here, but rather tasty home cooked style classic Japanese dishes. Dishes like Japanese curry, oyakodon, and other donburi and noodle dishes. Having been here multiple times, I cannot recommend this place enough for a homey style meal. No joke, each meal here makes you feel warm inside, like a good home cooked meal. It's comparable to many meals I've had traveling through out real Japan. The flavors are simple, but each dish is well prepared while emphasizing conform over fancy preparation. You just cannot go wrong with any dish here, though I'm partial to the donburi, the green tea soba, and the hot pot. And if the meal is not enough, there is a beautiful garden to enjoy. If you catch it at the right time, the cherry blossom in the spring is beautiful and transport you right to Japan. Overall, Domo is a place that I'm always down to visit. It's warm, comfy, and nostalgic, and I just know I'll miss it when it's gone.

Bella the robot was a tremendous source of entertainment especially watching the fun the kids had with it. All of that said, for me the most impressive thing about this experience was Ryan's commitment to his community and family. As a retired business woman I have, only too often, seen business owners who only think about the money and what the business can do for them. In the case of this exceptional young man it is ALL about what his business can do for his community.
