Ted's is phenomenal! Took a group of employees out to dinner after work this evening. We decided on Ted's due to proximity and trying. It did not disappoint. Our server, Mateo, was fantastic! Remember details about us after introductions (where each of us was from, commented on my debit card since he's a member of the same credit union from CA -while we're both in CO!). He nailed our orders and the food came out pretty quick. I hadn't had bison brisket before, super tender and juicy, full of flavor. The sprouts were great and the broccoli was creamy and delicious. The mashed potatoes were puréed to perfection and the gravy was the perfect finishing touch. It was really busy for a Tuesday but we only waited about 20min. Totally worth the wait! Visited Ted's Montana Grill in Aurora, Colorado on Easter and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait! I was a little apprehensive upon arrival because it was so dead in the restaurant however we were soon pleasantly surprised at the service, selection, and food! Our waiter was very informative and patient, helped us as it was our first time visiting this establishment. We opted for bison ribeye, as well as the bison meatloaf and started with homemade chips. Visiting the area on a work trip, this place was recommended to me so I decided to try it out for dinner. I thought I would beat the "Dinner rush" by going at 5ish but when I got there it was already really busy, and only got busier as it got later. Despite is being busy I was sat down in less then 15 min. I was greeted by a friendly host and followed by a friendly server. The place has a old western bar feel to it and has a bar of course, booth or table options so there are micro ambiences for all depending on what your mood or party size is and very clean. Since it was my first time I was having trouble deciding what I wanted to get but since I saw bison on the menu I landed on a Bison Burger, which you can't go wrong with and the server confirmed that it was what they were know for so that settled it. Food came out relatively quickly for how busy they were and it was good! I opted for the 50/50 fries and onions rings for my side, glad I did and for the patty medium well, but I recommend you go with medium but even with that mistake the burger was still pretty juicy and tasty! I finished of the experience with their house made cheesecake and it was delicious, smooth and creamy contrasted by the slight crunch from the crust and the berries gave it earthiness. My only compliant was that the slice wasn't big enough because I wanted more, haha especially since it's a little pricey but all in all I would definitely be visiting here again! read more

We had a large meal and Ted's did great for us. A few of us got here early for our reservation, so we saddled up to the bar. The service was awesome and we got to watch the food being made. Ordered the bison NY strip and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. I still prefer beef but the bison was good. Main problem I had was that the steak was not trimmed well. With every bite I had inedible silver skin - finally after several bites, I ended up cutting the remaining steak into smaller pieces and cutting off the silver skin. They also provide complimentary half sour pickles, which I personally didn't enjoy. They're not dill or butter and were surprisingly salty--almost like drinking salt water. There really aren't a ton of restaurants in this airport hotel area near the airport so this is probably sadly one of the better options. The Caesar salad came out desperately needing more dressing. The delmonico beef ribeye I ordered was mediocre, delmonico is a fancy way of saying a chuck steak, or a poor man's ribeye. Steak was ok, not overly tender or juicy and a little dry, I had to ask for steak sauce. Ted's bison sliders are hands down my favorite, they are perfectly cooked, super flavorful, and just the right size. And don't even get me started on the half sours... I could eat a whole bowl of those pickles. They're crisp, tangy, and totally addictive. The bartenders here are amazing. Every single one of them is friendly, fast, and genuinely great at what they do. One thing I've noticed is there's only one TV at the bar, which makes football Sundays pretty quiet. I got a bison burger along with the pretzel assassin beer. Both of which were really good, but I prefer the spicy burger I got the prior time I visited. The menu's are filthy and table is dirty, and the waiter just walked out, but another waiter stepped up and was more polite, I have to give it to Andy he told me the special of the day and he is running the bar and serving me. I order the salt and pepper trout with mashed potato, and buttered carrot. The carrots were uncooked and inedible, mashed potatoes was good, the trout was cooked properly but there were some bones in the fish. Overall I give the food a 4 out 10. read more
