Great feel, and clean too
Kurt S.

Staying at the Gaylord Rockies and decided to venture out for a non-Marriott breakfast. $9 Lyft ride or a 20 minute walk. Awesome classic diner feel with a great menu. I opted for the Meat Eaters omelet with pancakes vs toast with hash browns. Super friendly staff, seems family owned and run. I will come back for dinner one night to try their milk shakes.

I had a great experience overall. The service was excellent our server was attentive, friendly, and maintained a positive attitude throughout the visit. The food was also very enjoyable, I ordered the chicken with biscuits and gravy and it was absolutely delicious. The cozy atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a relaxing breakfast. The only downside was the parking it was a bit difficult to find a spot close to the restaurant.

Alright this place has been on our to go list ever since we passed it going to or from the airport years ago. We live 35-mins from the airport so really, that would be the only time we'd go. My uncle came into town and was staying by the airport so we saw this as our chance, and honestly it totally lived up to the expectation! We ordered the chicken fried steak, turkey club, BLT, and cup of red chili and it was all divine diner food! I ordered a chocolate milkshake but they ended up forgetting it, which honestly was okay because I was so full after the rest of the food I probably couldn't have drank or enjoyed it. Would definitely return if we have some time to kill around the airport or recommend to people staying near by!

Diner's in new place are a must! Came across this place on a Monday morning with a group of 5 and a toddler. Waited no longer than 10 minutes to get seated. Menu was straight forward and our group did have some questions and the service was helpful in answering questions along with suggestions on what to order. Got to try the country fried steak and eggs with a mimosa and a mimosa flight to share. Food was FANTASTIC that our table even got to share a savory plate. Mimosa's did sosa. Loved that the diner is located on the side of road and has the feeling of a diner. Wonder if dinner here would hit different?

The green chili was great, the service was phenomenal, my coffee cup was never empty. Easily walkable from all the hotels nearby. If you are staying near the airport and need a good meal I highly recommend Moonlight.

Great meatloaf, coleslaw, the veggies is a little bit soggy but good

Good place to stop, whether on the way to or from DIA. Would definitely recommend the Moonlight Diner for breakfast, but lucky for us, breakfast is served all day. The pancakes are an easy go to but definitely give the breakfast burrito a try. It is of great portion. It seems like the Diner is a popular spot as it is always busy when we visit. The dining area is not kept up very well, so bring wipes. Same goes for the restroom facilities. The latter being run down, out of stock on toiletries and a dysfunctional towel dispenser.

Nice meal after an event at the Gaylord Hotel. It wasn't as busy yet which was nice. But there was a large party in our section so our server was busy. I decided on the lemon pepper salmon. Wanted a peppermint hot chocolate but it turned out that it was alcoholic so I decided on water. The salmon was fine. The veggies were bland. Roll nice. Rice meh. I thought the burger he had would be better but he said it was not that good. Ah well. We still had a nice time and were full after. Diners are so fun.

Super cute and cozy spot that we checked out on our layover in denver! Service was quick and friendly. There was a big menu with lots to choose from! Food tasted great! Would come back again!

The dinner takes you back in time! I landed and this was my first place I ate at upon my arrival. The prices are fair and portions are large. They definitely give you large quantities of food. The hamburger was a bit too greasy for my liking. It had a grease taste. I did like the soup, it was spicy and savory The service was just ok. Their were times I had to wait for the check or order extra condiments.

We ate at Moonlight because it was close to the airport. The food was not great to us. We all ate because we.were hungry and there however it will not be a location we visit again. The cinnamon roll was delicious! We did not like the hasbrowns. The chicken fried steak was seasoned on the breading but not the chicken itself. The gravy was bland. The pancakes were good, fluffy. The service was great. The ambiance was a diner feel and comfortable. However when we were at the location, there was a couple of times we were getting a plastic melting smell. The restrooms were clean.

This was our second time eating here during our annual visits to Denver. And so we ordered the corned beef hash and over easy eggs and hash brown. We also ordered French toast. Everything was as it should be ... it was all good but the best was our server !! She had great customer service and even gave us good recommendations of where to go while in Denver. Thank you Lisa

My mom and I have started a tradition of coming here after I fly in to Denver to visit. We always have a really nice experience! Food is terrific, service is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. They have counter seating, as well as booths and tables. You feel transported to the 50's as soon as you walk in through the door. It's such a unique experience these days. Previously, we had ordered their Signature Moonlight Reuben with onion rings and The Kitchen Sink (Pancakes topped with bacon, sausage, sausage white gravy, eggs, biscuit, smothered in pork green chile, served with country potatoes.) I know it sounds crazy, but it was the perfect breakfast- the best of everything! I actually enjoyed their pork green chile too (it has been so hard for me to find one with flavor!) Our most recent visit...we went on a Friday around 3 PM and were able to sit down right away at the counter. Service was quick too since it wasn't very busy. Now, on to the food...We ordered the Patty Melt with sweet potato fries and Not Yo Mama's Mac n Cheese which has green chilies and is topped with pulled pork. Both were so delicious and flavorful. Some of the best pulled pork I have had! Their portions are always generous so we had to take some leftovers to go. Next time, I'd love to try one their milkshakes. Seriously, dining here is a must if you are in the area! Breakfast, lunch, dinner...but good luck trying to decide what to eat! ;)

We were looking for a hearty meal, and were lucky to have this one within walking distance of our hotel. The food was more than enough, and very tasty! The meals were well served, and flavorful. Our server was amazing! He is there Fridays and Sundays (I'm sure more days but from what we remember) him and the staff were very friendly, and on top of our needs. I recommend the "chingon" and if you like Bloody Marys, they have a great one! The place is big; divided in 2, one side is the restaurant and the other is a bar, with opening seating (if available). Proves are very reasonable. This is a restaurant you must try!

Right in downtown, Sam's No. 3 definitely grabs your attention. Classic diner vibe with a modern twist, busy energy, and a menu that's massive. Seriously--this place has something for everyone, and then some. I came in knowing I had to get back to work, so the legendary "Kitchen Sink" was out (tempting... but no chance I'm surviving that before a meeting ). After going back and forth, I landed on the French Dip. It was good--solid, no complaints--but didn't quite hit that "wow" level I'm always chasing. A little more punch would've helped, and the creamy horseradish definitely should be part of the standard setup--it made a difference. Now my dining partner... he went big. He had the sMacdown Burrito, an oversized burrito loaded with mac & cheese, tots, eggs, and chorizo. He slid me a sample, and I've gotta say--that thing brought the flavor. Bold, fun, and exactly what you'd expect from a place like this. The Verdict: Sam's No. 3 is a fun, high-energy spot with an incredible menu and something for every appetite. My sandwich didn't steal the show, but there's enough here to make me want another run at it. Next time? I'm going all-in on breakfast--because let's be honest, breakfast anytime is never the wrong decision.

My friend and I enjoyed a Friday morning brunch at The Original while staying at the Rally Hotel…read more It's location, at our hotel, made it convenient, but the menu looked to be just our style as well. We headed down to a crowded restaurant around 11 AM. It was pretty packed because it was opening day for the Colorado Rockies, and everyone was getting pre-game food. We checked in, to find that it was only about a 15-20 minute wait, a perfect amount of time to get mimosas at the bar. It actually turned out that we had a nice little area to drink our mimosas near the hostess stand, where we got to chat with other patrons. The restaurant itself is an upscale and modern diner, with modern diner food. It had a bight aesthetic. Once we were seated, we got to look over the menu. We decided to share the Maple Deviled Eggs and OG Hash with soyrizo. I was glad we shared so we could try both dishes. Also, the portions were rather large. Anyway, we enjoyed the food. It was creative and flavorful. There were lots of menu items the sounded good, so it was difficult to decide. It was also fun to try a couple of breakfast cocktails, for something different than a mimosa. All in all, we had a great brunch at The Original, and it was a great way to start our day.
