Excellent Happy Hour deals and variety of wings, tenders, salads, sandos, and apps. Big fan of the 2-fer Happy Hour. The atmosphere is good and a chill vibe. I believe they good in beef tallow...I'm not a fries guy but the fries are great and I don't feel weighed down after eating a hearty fried meal. Great self-served drinks with sweet tea, so you know it's legit. Only thing I would change is maybe a wider range of healthier options, but ditto that for any Chicken place or fast casual. The establishment that used to be here was a BBQ joint which was good as well so this brick and mortar didn't skip a beat. The food is made from scratch and I can tell it was as well. This was the most basic and flavorless chicken and biscuits I have ever had. I went through the drive through so I don't know what it looks like inside. The drive through process was simple and easy. I ordered the Chicken and Biscuits for $7.99. It comes with 4 biscuits and shredded up chicken pieces. A customer is able to choose what sauce or dry rub comes with it. I pulled up to the window and was barely greeted but the young man was ready to take payment. The food came out quickly. The chicken was cooked well but had no flavor. There were very few pieces of shredded chicken. I asked for the beak burner dry rub. It was in a small container on the side not covered onto the chicken. The biscuits barely tasted like cheddar biscuits. A far cry from what I believe a cheddar biscuit is supposed to taste like. Definitely not worth the price. I will not be going back. read more

I know, I know....I should try the rotisserie but honestly, nothing beats a good, crunchy chicken sammy, so on my first time visiting, I went straight to the top (of the menu) and ordered The OG. It has always been my opinion that a chicken thigh is one of the best parts of a bird and The OG doesn't disappoint. I ordered the sammy sans mayo with slaw on the side and wow was I impressed with the meal. The slaw isn't uber wet and has a nice semi sweet flavor. And the pickles on the sammy are a nice bonus (natch). I did the drive thru thing as I was on my way to Trivia but definitely would dine in next time (service is a bit slow at the drive thru). First timer eating Waldo's chicken. This restaurant is a great local spot in the Aurora Southlands mall area. It's very well priced and all the food is wonderfully seasoned. All the sauces are excellent each one unique and true to its taste. Did a curbside order & they were prompt and delivered right on time. Highlights of our meal were the howl chicken sandwich, the onion rings 10/10 crispy and delicious. Cheddar biscuits were also a great addition to our meal. Waldos is a great local alternative to fast food meals, inexpensive and a great option for a weeknight meal. If you live in the area this a great spot to hangout and enjoy a great meal, if you're in the area shopping around check em out! Definitely will be back when those chicken cravings hit. My husband ordered for us while we played (or said goodbye to a few dollars). A nice surprise for a casual night out! We were greeted promptly by the staff. This is fast casual style restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. For our first time here, we got free cheddar biscuits! They were fresh and wonderful. The chicken tenders were delicious-lightly breaded, and we liked the signature sauce. Servings aren't huge, but the quality is high. The fries were more shoestring size but were fresh. My husband got the sandwich with a side of Mac n cheese. Both were great! Pleasantly surprised by this place. Love the interior of this restaurant. Lots of funny pictures of celebrities with chickens and beer names modified to be about chickens. Such a playful, fun environment. The service was fast to get our food, the staff were friendly. You order at the front, then they give you a table number and someone will bring the food to your table. After you are done just know they clean up your table as well for you, there are no trash cans around for you to put away your dishes and trash afterwards. I really liked the food, I have ordered here. I got their limited time chicken sandwich and a cucumber salad as my side. So good I tried both of their sauces you cant go wrong with either! I also have gotten their standard fried chicken meal, definitely a fan of how they make their chicken! And I have gotten their salads multiple times. Love the concept. As soon as I walked up to the cashier to order in this fast casual restaurant, the cashier greeted us so warmly. We ordered a variety of items, essentially creating our own family feast. The coating of the fried chicken and cook on the chicken was perfect. We wish the chicken itself was seasoned more though. Maybe needed to marinate longer or brined or something prior to batter and fry. But that's our personal preference and might just not be their style. The rotisserie chicken was tasty enough. Better than costco or grocery store for sure, but I've had much better at other restaurants that specialize in rotisserie chicken. It seems like they pride themselves on sauce, and I saw that Alabama white sauce that I hate so much. I gave it a try, and I still dislike Alabama white sauce. But that's just me disliking that sauce, and not a knock on the restaurant. Overall, I'm not a huge fan of any of their sauces though. I have a couple of problems with this restaurant that I need to mention first. There are only two in Colorado and the closest one is more than 10 miles away. The restaurant is always clean and vibrant. The employees have always been helpful and courteous. They are open Sundays and have a much better chicken than others. The tenders are juicy and hot. The breading is delicious. It is not overcooked and is fresh unlike a lot of other places. If you have not had the opportunity to stop by, don't wait much longer. read more

The staff were super nice and helpful. The food was not only a great price for a large serving of food, but the food was really good. The batter on the chicken was the perfect spice level and the fruit tea is now one of my favorite drinks. I'm also not a fan of coleslaw, but their's is actually good. Not watery, over sauced, or too much sugar. Big mistakes that most places make with their slaw. The only negative I would say about the experience was that the place was super cold. Always have a good time here! The staff's super friendly, it's family-friendly, and somehow they always have space to seat you no matter when you roll in. Menu's got plenty to choose from, but the spicy chicken sandwich I had was next level--pretty sure it was called the Fowl Mouth.Fair warning, it's got a real kick, so maybe not for the spice-shy, but I'd still tell almost anyone to try it. With an expansive bar, outdoor patio, booths, and tables throughout, there is a spot for everyone and parties of every size. We picked a booth with a view of the entire place, which allowed us to soak it all in. The space is large, is decked out in southern flare and gives off a relaxed and chill vibe - the perfect spot for a weekend lunch! SECOND - The food itself is outstanding! I opted for the Fowl Mouth - a spicy fried chicken sandwich featuring habanero oil, jalapeno slaw, cheddar cheese with may and spicy sauce on a toasted bun - and OMG, YUM! The chicken was breaded perfectly (and not too heavy), the habanero oil was spicy, and the slaw created the perfect crunch - all in one bite! Wow, wow, wow. Delicious! We came in late, about 3 and the food came out hot. I had the rotisserie plate with two sides, Mac and cheese and potato wedges. Everything was super tasty and I love HOT potatoes. My hubby had the 6 wing snack with a side a fries. He Durrant like sauce ands these wings meet his approval. Crispy and tasty outer skin, delicious without any sauce. He said he will be back. The service was amazing and friendly, like they want us to come back. Waldo's is such a great addition to Southlands! They have BOGO on beer everyday after 3pm and all day Tuesdays & Sundays, which is a great deal. Their draft list is very large as well. The restaurant is very quick with food and even has a drive thru, but we like sitting inside. The staff are super friendly and we always see the same employees, which is a great sign! Recently, I tried their cucumber and tomato salad and was obsessed. I also really enjoy their french fries and potato wedges. Well, I was glad to see that something is here and the new restaurant name fit the craving I had, perfectly. As you enter, you need to order your food and get a number and sit anywhere and they will bring your food to the table. If you want beer, you need to make another stop at the bar.. Many food options, super speedy and the bartender were super dooper happy to serve. I was happy to see many HH offerings on different days. Me and my girlfriend love trying new local chicken places. We saw this location driving through southland, we decided to stop for lunch and give it a try. We got the Six Finger Feast it comes with six fingers and 2 sides we got fries and potato wedges, the chicken had a good crunch batter. I started with the order and chatted with Lauren, who helped me get everything set up for a big family. She was very helpful explaining the breakdown of the party pack l, answering my silly questions about how many pieces of each kind of meat you get (my wife likes white meat and the kids like the thighs). She was very patient and gracious. When I picked up the food, I didn't grab the name of the gentleman up front, but he was also super warm and friendly, very helpful. He went and grabbed my food and carried it out to my car, even though I said I could do it- He wanted to bring it out.
