We were greeted with a warm hello, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. As we looked over the menu, we were thrilled to see okra -- such a fun and unexpected bonus! We ordered the chicken meal and a chicken sandwich, and everything was delicious. The okra was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the chicken tenders were juicy and really tasty. Also, both times I've been there. I've gone into the bathroom after eating to wash my hands and had employees come out of the bathroom immediately before I went in. Stopped over the weekend for a couple of meals. Food was fine, my issue was with the drink. My medium drink (small) was full of ice top to bottom. The food is always fantastic. Occasionally they have a special - and I am never disappointed. Their fried okra is pretty good, at least a nice change from just French fries. The chicken is much better in my opinion than similar restaurants. Their teas are sweetened just like I like - very sweet. But that might be because I grew up in Texas and I like my tea very sweet. The service has always been fantastic, we are greeted upon entry if the cashier is not taking an order. They deliver your food to your table and usually stop by at least once to make sure everything is OK. The restaurant itself is clean and bright. TVs are in the restaurant if you enjoy watching (usually sports) while eating. And they have a loyalty app that is very easy to use. read more

I found the food was similar to Rasin' Cane's, but a little saltier. Their tea (I want to say it was peach and then raspberry) was great. I got one of their spicy chicken sandwich meals and a mango habanero sauce. I was very impressed with the outside of this restaurant. I expected a small fast food diner, but it's huge and like an actual restaurant. We walked in to the counter where you place your order before sitting down. When we got up to order the guy named Andy was not friendly at all. He made me uncomfortable for being excited to try a new place. I was supposed to get the ranch cayenne sandwich but I think they gave me just a regular chicken. It had no flavor and no ranch on it. The parmesan wings were a good flavor, and the chicken and waffles were super yummy. The toast was dry, not flavor. The fries were very salty as others have mentioned. I'm sure I would have liked it better if the worker was nicer and I was ok with telling them I didn't get the correct sandwich. There was ranch or something that tasted like ranch in the sandwich but it didn't really help with the dryness of the chicken. Also I think some of the crispness came more from the edge of the bun rather than the chicken itself. The oreo milkshake was good though. The fries were a good portion however mine was super salty while my boyfriend seemed to not have any seasoning on his fries. This used to be our favorite chicken restaurant chain, going 4-5 times a month. The chicken was crispy and delicious. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was terrific. Recently, they changed the way they bread their chicken. It is no longer crispy. They roll the chicken after breading it between their hands, which knocks most of the breading off. The result is still tasty chicken, but not crunchy, truly breaded chicken. It is not the same chicken we loved, so we will be going elsewhere. Here's hoping they go back to the way it was before. Cole slaw is virtually inedible because it's over-sauced with sweet and black pepper and salt. The fries are somehow below average, but at least it's not flabby. It can be very tough and it feels more like tendons than breast meat. My wife thinks the mac and cheese bowl is one of the best things anywhere so we keep coming back though. People with disabilities requiring Service Dogs are told they have to sit in the patio area as quoted by management. Management stated, "I'm pretty sure that's the rules bro." This manager went on and stated that it is a corporate policy. So it appears corporate policy supersedes the American Disability Act of 1990 and is invalid with this business. After being humiliated and embarrassed in front of about 20 people 8 walked out. While standing outside deciding where to eat, this same manager came out and shouted from approximately 80 feet away, "I said you could F-ing eat inside bro!" You can fill in that f word on your own. It's unfortunate that I only had 9 witnesses for the outside interaction but a few people took video of what happened inside. Think I'm the only one, not even close. Other site reviews have nearly identical situations to mine. Was my Service Dog easily identified, yes she was. A Service Dog Vest, Service Dog Collar and on a Service Dog leash. Out of control Service Dog behavior, absolutely not. It shows on the video that she was completing her trained function. This companies promoted discrimination for people with disabilities needs to be exposed. It is disgraceful that customers are treated like this. read more

Incomplete order, no dry rub on wings, no sauce after requesting two sauces and no drink since I was rushed away. Probably got the most pathetic looking wings that were left. Went in to Slim Chickens for dinner tonight on a Sunday (11/2/24.) I am shocked how far the restaurant has declined since they opened. They Haven't even been open a year. I like certain things with Slims over Raising Canes like sides (like Mac and Cheese), desserts, sauces and the chicken being as good as Raising Canes. Not anymore, at least at the Parker location. Chicken breading wasn't very thick or tasty. The strips were tiny. Half the size of Canes strips. They were out of Mac and cheese. They got rid of the best sauce they had Garlic Siracha. I tried to salvage my experience by getting a Strawberry shake and even that didn't taste that great. Like it was lacking the strawberry part and it was mostly vanilla. I really don't like negative reviews and prefer to give praise because a place is killing it. I have had Slims when they have been great and when the food is worth the price. This place has lost that. I will be going to Canes from now on where the strips are amazing and their bread is mouth watering. Such a shame. Whomever is running this place has no concept of quality control. I'll give an extra star because the lobby didn't seem dirty and I didn't do my normal bathroom visit. So I will assume it was. Sorry Slims I hate to see you go down so quick. I heard a rumor that they sold to another group after they opened. I want to like this place, but they have some kinks to work out. I've been there twice now. The drive-thru is painfully slow, even with only a handful of cars in line. They have forgotten my salad dressing... twice! Literally both times I've been there. The first time, I had to park (after waiting 45 minutes in the drive-thru) and go in to get my dressing that they forgot. The second time, I checked my bag upon receiving and dressing was missing again (and they even charged me for an extra dressing). Like another person mentioned, they under-fill their sauce cups. They are all only about 2/3 full. Just makes me feel like they are trying to cheat their customers. I also ordered two large Mac n cheese this order and they were both only HALF full. Again, I feel cheated as their menu is not cheap. Food is ok, not exceptional. And service is bad. So why not go another couple blocks to Cane's or Chick fil-a. *shrug* Not sure I'll go back. I know they just opened so they are a little disorganized but I can tell they are working hard to get it right. We went by Friday afternoon and it was packed. Ordering took a while as the registers were slow. A little on the pricy side for 5 of it cost 70$. The chicken was good and everyone liked it. A lot of sauces to choose from and good flavors. The sandwich I ordered only had one piece of chick in it and it wasn't very big so that was probably my biggest disappointment. I imagine it will get better as far as service and portion sizes as they get More established. We will definitely be back and illl update after our second visit. read more

Came here tonight with the whole family and ordered the Picnic Pack: 16 Tenders, 6 Sauces, 2 sides and 4 Texas Toast. Also orders a side of fried pickles. All of that was $46 including tax. Ordered Mac and cheese and fries as sides. The tenders were very good but on the small side, I ate 7 plus some sides so be aware of that.
