We also got an order of the fried pickles (as they are my favorite), and they did not disappoint!

Me and my family visiting Colorado for my son college graduation found this wonderful Italian…read morerestaurant. Everything was made fresh and there was no freezers in this place. The customer service was beyond excellent. Rae our server was top notch with serving us. She also had others checking on us like Patrick, Alex and Etta were all so wonderful . But the superstars of it all was the cooks Javier and Jorgie! I am a cook in california , but they're food was beyond this world. Everything was seasoned to perfection. There was not one bad plate and I got a chance to try almost every plate from everybody so I can make this review. This food was excellent , and I would love to come back and eat it again. The atmosphere was wonderful , very intimate and warm ambiance. I truly recommend if you love top notch , italian cuisine go to this place.

Lovely evening for Italian food. I like the interior decorations and lights. Fairly empty…read morerestaurant after 6:30 PM and only one server working. A very polite and handsome young man by the name of Patrick seated us and was very attentive without being overbearing. Very nice. I wanted simple spaghetti and meatballs and hubby got lobster ravioli. We split a dinner salad and had the little bread squares dipped into balsamic vinegar and olive oil and herbs. It was very good but my pasta was slightly overcooked. The meatballs were fantastic but the sauce could've used more basil. I'd love to come back and try something else!

There is a strange smell about the place (think old folks home), I don't know if it is the building, the food, or something else. Ordered the calamari and although technically it could be considered calamari, I would have called it "squid frites", no rings and no tentacles just strips in the shape of fries. The marinara/cocktail sauce was a bizarre combination and did nothing to help the seasonless squid frites. I ordered the combination lunch which consisted of beef ravioli, lasagna, and spaghetti. The ravioli was fantastic and the spaghetti was on point as well. Great red gravy. The lasagna however was over cooked and the noodles soft almost mushy. Ordered 2 meatballs to accompany my dish and they were more mealy than firm. Would not order them again. My friend ordered the steak and cheese (which was almost $30) and was surprised when it came out as the steak was not shredded or sliced but an entire filet which made the price point make a little more sense. The bun was not the expected Italian bread roll/loaf but something else entirely that felt grocery store bought. Additionally, the sandwich arrived soggy so basically my friend had a steak (sans bread) with mozzarella and canned mushrooms on it but certainly not the expected Philly-style steak and cheese. The service once seated was pretty good. Would go back given the same set of circumstances but would steer clear of anything not pasta related.

Pre-race pasta night is a tradition for us, and we make it a point to try a different local Italian…read morerestaurant each time. This time, Bettola Bistro got the nod. Our schedule meant takeout was the only option, and in hindsight, we timed it perfectly. We placed our order around 5:15p on a Saturday evening and learned they stop accepting takeout orders once the kitchen gets slammed. Given how small and intimate the restaurant is, that makes complete sense. The dining room only has a handful of tables, a cozy little bar, and a tucked-away patio that feels surprisingly secluded despite being in a strip mall (don't let this deter you). From start to finish, the ordering and pickup experience was seamless. The staff was warm and welcoming, our food was ready exactly when promised, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly. We ordered the crispy eggplant along with the bucatini and meatballs. Overall, both dishes were enjoyable and clearly made with care. The crispy eggplant had a nice texture but could have used a bit more seasoning or punch of flavor. The bucatini was satisfying, though the meatballs leaned a little dry and lacked that flavor pop for my taste. The accompanying ricotta was creamy and delicious, but I was hoping for a more pronounced lemon note. Even with those small critiques, we really enjoyed our experience. Bettola has the kind of inviting neighborhood feel that makes you want to come back, and next time we'd love to dine in and soak up the atmosphere instead of taking our meal home.

The elegant table settings and beautiful glassware created a sophisticated atmosphere, and every bite of my dinner was rich, flavorful, and absolutely divine. I went to Tavernetta for my birthday and made a reservation a week in advance. Tbh reserving felt…read moresuper stressful but I guess that kind of the culture nowadays with the rules, credit card down, and showing up on time with a 10min leeway. However, we ended up showing up an hour before our reservation hoping to just get seated and we got in right away. Cassey was our incredible waiter and he made the night very memorable. After learning it was our first time there, he very patiently walked us through the menu and how the restaurant generally worked with serving sizes. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ambience was great and cozy. We sat on the patio and it was mildly windy but it still felt nice being kept away in a corner of downtown. Starting with the appetizers, you HAVE TO get the burrata with some bread. It's the perfect flavor combination with the texture of the bread crumbs. Absolutely delicious. The salad was also a really great refreshing balance with the heavier burrata and bread. It's such a simple salad with the most amazing flavors of pickled shallots, buttermilk dressing, and Parmesan. They truly have some of the best cheeses ever. For the mains, I got the lobster tagliatelle and my partner got the lamb rigatoni. We also got smashed potatoes to share with cheese. Everything was impeccable. I was hesitant to get the lobster dish because it's such a low chance that a lobster dish is actually going to taste as good because it's a very difficult dish to perfect but I can confidently say it's probably one of the best ones I've had. The tomato base sauce with celery and chile with the lobster is the perfect combination. I do have to say a DISCLAIMER if you're not good with spicy food it's not for you. It has a pretty strong kick throughout the eating process so do not get it if you can't handle spice. Other than that, it's one of the most flavorful seafood pasta dishes I've ever had. I tried my partners lamb rigatoni and they truly perfected the rendering of it in the sauce and it's such a perfect overall dish with a good serving for rigatoni in general. If you're extra hungry, I would get the cheesy potatoes, they are perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and warm on the inside with the perfect amount of cheese and salt flakes. To close the night, we, of course, got the tiramisu which was very well made. Now, I have been to Paris and actually had it with the best cream on earth so it won't top that. However, it is a close second and probably the best I've had in America. I highly highly highly recommend you try it out. The service is impeccable and Cassey was the best company to have around to talk about celebrations, house of dragon, and having a good night. Thanks for making my birthday a great experience!
