I wouldn't think this is a burger place but that's about all they offer. They have some salads and sharables on their menu but really they offer variations of a "craft" burger. Nice ambiance when you walk in with large windows overlooking Colfax. They have an outdoor area that I guess would open up in the summer time. The bar is long and bright so lots of cocktails to choose from. Ordered a couple glasses of house wine with our meal ($8 during happy hour/$11 during peak times. Not bad for a house wine. The burgers tasted okay but didn't sit well with me afterwards. I had the li'l wig burger which is white cheddar burger, red onion, tomato, lettuce, pickle and their sauce. We also ordered the li'l big wig which is similar but includes smoked pulled pork belly bacon and fresh jalapeno for $3 more. Nice community location. This would be a nice local stopping place if you lived close by and in walking distance.

We were looking for a nearby nightcap and didn't want to go to our usual spot. Randomly found this place on Google Maps and it's truly a hidden gem. Very cozy and inviting interior with lots of sports on the TVs. Stacy was such a friendly bartender and seemed to know all the regulars that came by. Bonus points for having parking in the back off of Elm street. We need to go back to try the burgers. Very cool spot!

I couldn't even finish the burger Spent $40 for burger fries and two high noons Food sucks so bad they squish the meat patty and don't shape it even

The building on Colfax & Elm in Park Hill that holds The W is a fixture in my memory as a soda fountain inside Weiss Drug Store from the 1960s. Now it holds a bar where the soda fountain was and serves wonderful burgers. The menu is interesting and had many choices that were tempting. We had to elicit help from our server, who seemed more than happy to oblige. Husband settled on the Li'l Big Wig burger, I had the W Salad. Both were yummy. Though I wished the salad had more of the veggies and candied pecans than the lettuce. Looking forward to a return visit -- one where we'll have to save room for the dessert, French Beignets Trio!

The W, or as others who have been in Denver fo a while, formerly The Elm. While I only stopped in for a drink, The W has an updated decor with an updated menu as well. The W puts on a good show with the cocktail of the month as well as the details that went into the decorations. Happy hours are short - 4:00-5:30 Tuesdays through Fridays. All day Mondays are Happy Hour as well. The W gives off more of a refined watering hole than its predecessor. The bartender was very attentive and extremely nice. I will go again to try some of their food - many items sounded very tempting. My heart will always belong to The Elm's grilled cheese - if you know, you know! Thanks for a fun experience.

The W Denver is one of a kind! The staff is so on it! The atmosphere is very inviting and nice to sit in. The food is great. Can tell that they care about detail here. The cocktails are the best thing about this place. My wife here is holding a living on a pear (her favorite drink along with the grand avenue). I highly recommend heading here for a classy date night. We are going to be the newest regulars.

First time here and it will not be the last! What a lovely decorated place and high quality decor with ample space between tables! You can choose between traditional dining tables, communal bar tops, and the inviting bar. I asked for medium and didn't get medium well, medium rare, but MEDIUM! Delicious and juicy patty. The Baby Brie had numerous flavor profiles to keep your tastes buds on edge wanting for more. The thin slices of apple revealed a delayed yet contrasting taste to the rest of flavors. My wife had a delicious "The W" with a juicy burger patty on the side. Since I was the designated driver, she indulged in a refreshing blackberry jalapeño margarita.

Super friendly staff at this restaurant and everyone pitches in to make sure customers are taken care of. Patio and indoor seating is available. Tables are fairly close together so if you want an intimate conversation, that may not happen. Happy Hour runs from 4-5:30pm Tuesday-Friday and all day Monday with generous house wine pours. There are also a few bites on the HH menu. I decided to try their Burger Battle Burger - the Li'l Big Wig. It had great flavor with the white cheddar, pulled pork belly bacon, and W sauce. My only issue was I asked for the burger to be medium rare, as did other guests at my table, and our burgers came out closer to medium well.

They have happy hour Tues from 4-5pm. Almost all of the wines by the glass are half off. No discount for food. The only front employee on Tuesday is Jennie who is the bartender at Spuntino the other days of the week. They have a kitchen person. Very large offerings of wines on a chalkboard. They offer cocktails and a light food menu + Charcuterie. I was first to arrive, but shortly later another 10 persons arrived in various groups. Plenty of seating on 2 floors. I sat at the 2 sided bar. I asked for recommendations. They have a classic French champagne, Domaine Berthold Cremant d'Alsace, normally $18 for $9. Crisp and refreshing. I got the Hummus and Onion Dill dip plate with crackers & veggies with red peppers, heirloom carrots, radishes and apple slices. I paired it with a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. Lots of minerality but not as sweet from Sauvignon Blanc's from New Zealand. Next was the Brioche Melt with cappiola, Brie and raspberry habanero jam & Spanish potato chips. Jennie recommended the Barahonda Monastrell from Spain. A fuller bodied red wine with a bit of tannin to compliment the sandwich. They do not have a service charge, but do add a credit card fee. Very enjoyable happy hour. Jennie said reservations are not necessary on Fri or Sat. They have occasional wine events and you can create your own wine flights.

I was hoping for a bit more excitement about the wines on the list and ability to provide education/insight from the staff. Asked for someone to tell me more about a wine and told it was "good" which isn't really the detail I'm looking for would be 5 stars for me if it was more like my go-to fave from Houston (shout out Vinology) where staff was clearly so passionate, knowledgeable, and wanted to help everyone fall in love with wine.

As our walk got longer and extended we found ourselves in this little pocket of business area in the Park Hill neighborhood. Come to think of it, I have utilized a good handful of the restaurants in the last 5 years or so and Neighbors was one of them. I remember one of my friends (out of touch) and I came here for a flight of mezcal or tequila or some sort. The Yelp review I wrote back then dated over 5+ years. It all of a sudden became a moment of "walking back the memory lane". The time was 8:40pm or so. Although the restaurant doesn't close until 10pm, the kitchen was about to close (at 9pm.) Our stomach was still quite full from the dinner; we only needed after dinner drinks. Monday night at 8:45pm, the bar barely had any people in it. Dimly lit, the ambiance was quite exquisite. We noticed all sorts of wine cork art decorations on the walls and even the ceiling The kind waitress of ours allowed me to sample a few different reds (a Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi and a blend from Washington state.) Although the blend smelled better on the nose, the Cabernet tasted better on the palate. Decision making as to which one came easy: the Cabernet was the winner. I'm not much of a jammy Cabernet person. This Cab from Lodi, no wonder, appealed to me. Very structured, not necessarily velvety either and yet it's got a good character to it. The name of it is Klinker Brick (and the vintage is 2023). As of early June 2026, a glass of this solid Cab is/was $14.25. It became a nice "after dinner" wine to settle into the late night. As I stated earlier, this is a little picket of neighborhood that's mostly consisted of beautiful homes with $900k ranges. Unless you specifically do searches for restaurants in the very area, this will easily escape many people's notice. But that's the charm of it. Being away from the so-called "hip town vibes", I like this little quiet spot. And this wine bar's existence in it perfectly fits the description.

The entire evening is orchestrated by a single, extraordinary human. He is the greeter, the host, the chef, and the busser, a true one-man culinary circus executed with absolute grace. As for the food? Tasting menus can sometimes leave you eyeing a drive-thru on the way home, but absolutely not here. Every single course on the $90 menu was wonderfully tasty and incredibly generous; nobody is leaving hungry. The English Pea Agnolotti was a bright, beautiful start, and the Shortrib Parmentier was rich, comforting perfection. We also opted for the $50 wine pairings, which were thoughtful, well-paced, and complemented the evolution of the dishes beautifully (the Chablis with the roasted beets was a standout match). If you can somehow manage to snag a final reservation before they say goodbye, do it. It's a beautifully unique dining experience you won't soon forget.

The chef needs to focus on his craft rather than also serving and clearing dishes. When you pay $90/person and get wine pairing or bottle you expect a certain level of service and execution. The food didn't impress either, and they never asked for any restrictions ahead of time to be able to easily accommodate, since the menu is so limited. The first course was a pasta with pea dressing and carrot sauce. It was bland, didn't come together, the pasta was tough, and the carrot sauce was unfinished and not sauce consistency. It just felt immature. The second dish had a lot of acid and didn't shine either. It felt like a compilation of ingredients but not anything I would come back for. The duck was the star, it was crispy, the sides all worked together, it was well executed. He did make us a dessert that didn't have cream in it, which was nice. This was a missed concept and experience for me. There needs to be someone doing front of the house, especially with more people. The food needs to be better thought out and executed for the price.
