Lady Yomada has become my go to spot when the rest of the world disappoints. Every visit is a uplifting experience as the staff goal seems to make sure my day is better after visiting. Why you may ask Outstanding vibe from ALL the staff from manager to bus people. I always feel recognized and they remember what I think makes a good experience. Have a favorite table or tweak to a drink, they accommodate. manager staff greets you with a smile and a genuine sense that they are glad to see you. If that in itself is not enough specialty drinks (especially during happy hour) ranging from the shot-o-pus to pitchers of well crafted Paloma's there is always something including mock tales for those who choose to be more reserved. I would go here if they didnt serve food just for the atmosphere and friendly staff but you would be missing out... Carnitas are my protein of choice wether in fajita form or pre built taco they are juicy and crispy and avoid breaking down into the stew meat that plagues other places. The crispy fish taco is nice and lightly battered as well. I also have to admit the double decker taco (admit it you stole this from taco bell) is the concept finally done right with quality ingredients completely different experience and quite tasty. Last visit my favorite table was full it happen right? What doesnt usually happen is the manager had the table cleaned and said he would be happy to move us as he knew that was our favorite. Quality product and customer first attitude from all the staff plus the beach vibe makes Lady Nomada a must try. Just dont take my favorite table :) read more

Was staying at a hotel closeby and felt like fajitas. The vibe was really nice and the restaurant was decorated nicely. I was by myself, and the waiter walked right by me numerous times and finally after about 15 minutes he comes over and wants to take my order... whoa... how about a drink and some chips and salsa first. So, several minutes later, they show up and he wants to take the order. I said let me enjoy these for a bit and come back in about 10 minutes. The salsa was really good but pretty spicy. So, he comes back and takes the order. I had the steak fajitas. They were not what I was expecting. The steak was ok, but not too many veggies, and just a small amout of cheese. The rice was white rice which seemed strange. Beans were ok. An extra plate for the tortillas would have been nice. I asked for a drink refill and it took at least 20 minutes. I got pretty annoyed. He finally said something like "I've been really busy" or something like that. It was a bit mumbly and I didn't bother to ask. I won't be back. read more

Great spot for drinks and good food! Arrived at 6PM and asked for a table for 3. We were quickly seated at a booth. The place is decorated so cute! They also had their AC blasting which helped cool us off from the heat outside. Our server was great and quickly took our order and received waters. Our appetizer came out pretty quickly and I do want to call out that the guac looked like it was sitting out for some time. Once our 3rd person arrived, we ordered our food and drinks. Drinks came out pretty quickly. The elderflower prickly pear drink was stellar and pretty strong! I would definitely come back just for that drink! Food tasted great! Tacos were seasoned well. I do wish they had spicier salsa options but that's just my preference. I also think the tacos should be doubled up with tortillas because they started falling apart and made it difficult to eat. I ended up just eating the inside of the tacos and left the tortilla. Overall though, nothing bad that would deter me from visiting again. It was a good experience! I would definitely return. read more

CAUTION: manager punishes customers for complaining about an ill-conceived, poorly executed seating policy. I was a first-timer with five other fun, chill ladies 50+ on Cinco de Mayo. Three of us had driven from significant distances. Two were late, due to crazy snow. Our friend had made reservations for the high-top table IN THE BAR AREA. Upon arrival, the hostess DID mention to our organizer that the table was ours until 6. That sounded odd, but certainly they wouldn't expect us to leave if we're still eating and drinking, right? We were having a great time, and being gracious despite a few issues, like my friend getting a strangely colored margarita that tasted bad -- unlike her first, or any of the others in the entire restaurant. She explained and asked for it to be remade. Another girl brings it back again, making her re-explain. She begrudgingly took it back and replaced it. At 5:40, as people started bugging out, our snow-delayed friend arrived and our waitress took her food order, along with another friend's order for a pitcher of beer. They arrived quickly. At 5:50, we got a visit from manager Alex, asking us to wrap things up and leave. We were confused, and asked why this was necessary, since we were in the BAR section, had just been served food and beer, and people were leaving. Alex was not amenable to applying practicality to the situation. My friend who'd just been served her pitcher of beer asked which option she was supposed to exercise...pay for and leave her full pitcher, or slam it and then drive home to Boulder. Alex didn't like that, and reluctantly offered to comp the quesadilla and beer -- like it was some grand gesture. As we gathered our things, more customers left, leaving four seats open around the actual bar. EUREKA! We didn't have to leave! My friend and I sat in two, and two others sat across from us. We knew we'd find one more, and we did. Cool, right? Nope. Alex confronts me and says, I noticed you guys moved to the bar. (I thought I was being punked.) So I reply, "Yes, is there a problem with us taking available seats after having to leave our table?" He says something about us being rude. To which I said, "I'm not being rude. If you're referring to us talking amongst each other about how this situation was handled, we have the right to speak." He then informed us he was cutting us off. I wasn't one of the ones comped, and we weren't drunk. He just didn't like that we pushed back. He left, and seconds later, the drink I'd ordered before this "chat" was placed in front of me. When Alex saw it, he pulled bartender Hunter aside and had words with him. Which made matters worse, because Hunter is so kind, and he knew we were cool. Anyway, I happily sipped my drink, and we started watching the Avs. We weren't obnoxious, but it was loud, and since we were seated across the bar from each other, we needed to shout a bit. Around this time, we noticed the table we'd been forced to vacate was STILL EMPTY -- 20 minutes after being booted from it. The table right next to it? Also empty. A few minutes later, we noticed he'd moved some girls who'd been at the bar since our arrival TO OUR TABLE. Obviously to make it look like the party that wanted it had shown up. So I took a pic of that with my phone. And a video of how many seats and tables were open. Nobody knew what I was doing, or cared, except Alex, who'd been spying on us. He comes back AGAIN, suddenly claiming our "BEHAVIOR" is a problem. Despite us trying to reason with him about what this experience was like for us as customers, he tells us to leave. I have been kicked out of two bars in my life. Once justifiably at age 22, and again on this day, age 60. All because of a manager on a power trip. We ended up going to Mezcal four miles away where the food and the service were exemplary, and we were welcomed! Lady Nomada? Lady, No-thank-you. You can't defend a policy like that, take a food and drink order right before the time limit, take our table and then harass us for not liking it. There are too many cantinas out there to treat people this way. read more

I frequently come here and they always have great service and delicious food. You also have to try their cocktails as they're well crafted and always potent with the alcohol but not over the top which is nice. I normally wouldn't update my review since but this time the GM stopped by to check how we liked everything and we did...but he surprisingly gave me a free fajitas card and I love their fajitas. We decided to have a low key dinner for our anniversary and made a split second decision to try the new location for Lady Nomada. We didn't make a reservation but arrived around 6:30 pm on a Wednesday and were promptly seated. Our server had asked if we'd been in before and so we shared it was our first time to this location. He shared some recommendations and took good care of us. Later on the manager stopped by to chat with us and we were impressed by their hospitality. We'll be back soon from that experience alone. read more

My spouse and I had tried several times to get into Lady Nómada and finally learned that reservations are essential -- it fills up by happy hour (2-5 PM) and stays busy through dinner. We had a 5:45 PM reservation but the dining room was already full, so we sat at the bar and were immediately offered menus, water, and house-made chips and homemade salsa (Aaaah-mazing salsa!). Service was friendly and welcoming from our server Hunter to the bartenders and food runners -- everyone was happy to chat. We sampled a couple cocktails (Elderflower Prickly Pear and the Spicy Mezcal). If you like mezcal, the Spicy Mezcal is a perfect balance of heat and bright citrus. The prickly pair is too sweet for my taste buds but love the presentation. For my entrée I tried the Nomada's Best of Plate -- a grilled taco, chicken enchilada (I added green chili), and crispy carnitas (I ate these with a tortilla). All three were excellent and distinct; the chicken enchilada was my favorite and likely what I'll order next time. My wife had the crispy carnitas fajitas -- a generous portion and very easy to eat thanks to a thoughtful presentation. Highly recommend -- just be sure to make a reservation. read more

We enjoyed this establishment for our first visit. The ambience was enjoyable. Our server Meaghan M did a great job with her friendliness. We started off with two grande house margaritas that were delicious and helped to supply a really good vibe for the night. We also enjoyed the warm queso with chips that were also delicious. My wife enjoyed her chicken and steak combo fajitas with flour tortillas, rice and black beans. I enjoyed the duo. My Carne Asada was medium rare as requested, and came with rice and black beans, as well as a few other goodies. We were nice and full by the end of everything above and had to pass on dessert on this visit. We would love to come back for more in the future. I recommend this place if you're in the mood for some good Mexican food and a pleasant vibe. read more

Ok so I did come in here twice in one week and I'm glad I did. The first time in was a Tuesday and my assumption is that they may had scheduling issues and pulled a random employee to serve because he seemed inexperienced as a server. My order was keyed in wrong (no apology when I politely called him over to ensure we weren't charged wrong), never checked on us, very slow, didn't make eye contact, was awkward AF. I came back another time because the food was just THAT GOOD that I could overlook the service. The second time in was a Saturday evening so much busier. I didn't see our first server so I was relieved I wouldn't go through the same experience. Our server was fast. Service was great. Food was still great!! I got fajitas the first night. The chicken was seasoned well and toppings were plentiful. Both nights - we got the dip trio to start. Very good!! Their house salsa also is very tasty. I tried the birria taco and mini rellenos the second time. DELISH!! The birria taco was Huge! The mini chile rellenos were unique! They are wrapped in a deep fried shell so almost like a Mexican eggroll. It was SOOO GOOD!! read more

Lady Nomada is such a great addition to the Central Park neighborhood! It's so refreshing to finally have a new spot with really good food, delicious drinks, and a cool, laid-back vibe. The atmosphere has that perfect mix of fun and relaxed -- great for a night out with friends, date night, or even a casual dinner. The menu has plenty of flavorful options, and everything we tried tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Drinks were just as good -- creative and balanced So happy to have Lady Nomada in Central Park. We came upon Lady Nomada because we were looking for a place for dinner that was close to our hotel. We were lucky to snag the last table of 2, and it sounded like it would be a 40 min wait for larger groups! We were really impressed with the food- the house salsa was good, but we also added the trio with guacamole, queso, and roasted salsa. Holy crap the roasted salsa was hot! It was awesome. It's very different than the house salsa (much thicker, creamier)- I preferred it on our food over the chips. I also enjoyed the queso but felt the guacamole was a little lackluster. It tasted a bit plain. The chicken tinga taco comes with a cheese grilled tortilla, so that was my favorite! The birria enchilada was good but the red sauce tasted more like mole to us (it normally comes with green sauce). My husband really thought the rice and beans was good. The margarita flight was fun- the coconut one is frozen and tastes like pina colada. We also liked the spice hibiscus, and the regular was fine. Very happening place, and looks like they have happy hour 2-5 on weekdays. read more

We had been wanting to try this place for a while and we finally did last night! We went without a reservation. They told us it would be a 20min wait and to sit at the bar. They added us to a wait list with my name and phone number saying they would either text or swing by to let us know when our table was ready. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. I got the painkiller and my husband ordered a corona. The host came and got us in less than 20minutes. The booth was large and very comfortable, with 2 pillows. The ambiance in general is very nice and welcoming. It is also not too loud which is unusual as most restaurants tend to be on the louder side! My husband has hearing issues but had no issues last night even though it was packed. It's comicable because we travel quite a bit to Cozumel to scuba dive and the limes are always dry. You can't squeeze a lick of juice out of them. We were not expecting that to be the case with this restaurant, but it was. Both corona's came with dried lime! No juice! We laughed! Funny, not funny. The painkiller drink was meh. It had a weird sugary coconut mix that gave it a bad aftertaste. The chips and salsa are five stars, but the sauce portion is tiny. We ordered the chips trio for $18. Those sauce portions were tiny as well. Thankfully, they do refill your chips and salsa and we received one refill. On the trio, the cheese and fire roasted salsa were meh, and the guacamole was good. We usually share fajitas so that's what we ordered. It was the tiniest chicken fajita plate I've ever seen for $24. Luckily I had filled up on chips and only ate 2 corn tortillas. We had to ask for more tortillas as they only give you 3 and they charged $1.50 for 3 more tortillas. The chicken and rice had no flavor. I mean zero. Not even salt. It was an odd experience overall. The staff were great - the bartender and our waiter! The ambience is nice! However, We will continue to enjoy shared fajitas at our regular Mexican joint that serves more food for less. Hard pass on returning to this establishment with mediocre food at downtown prices. It's not gourmet, even though that seemed to be the desire with the tiny portions and tiny plates. read more

What a nice surprise! The ambiance and atmosphere is crafted and curated from front of house to back. Service was excellent, Matt, Alex and Roberto were wonderful! Grande Cali Caliente Margarita was refreshing and well balanced. Everything was flavorful, fresh and hot. Salsa is probably the best flavor salsa we've had in a long time. We got The Duo and the Nomada's Best of Plate. Some of the best flavor and great portions. I can't wait until they get the tres leches here!! Will absolutely be back. read more

I was happily surprised by this restaurant! It is super cute and very trendy looking so I wasn't sure how the food would taste. But the food was delicious. The server gave us free chips and salsa to start. The salsa was a little spicy but super tasty and addicting. I got the chicken enchiladas and asked for half red sauce and half green sauce. I honestly couldn't tell you which sauce I preferred better. It came with beans and rice and was a large portion size. Service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely be coming back to try more items off the menu. read more

This is easily one of the best spots in Central Park. The ambience, the food and the services are all great! It's elevated but yet there's still free chips & salsa and the prices are quite reasonable. The carnita fajitas lasted 2 meals and their mini chile rellenos are too die for! read more

Food on point. Hospitality A+. The location is great for Central Park, and Park Hill people. Plenty of free parking. This is a great addition to the neighborhood that offers quality food at a good price point. Check out their lunch hour specials and HH specials. I've enjoyed a good portion of their menu now and i do not have a favorite. However, i have to shout out the grilled fish taco. It's fresh, tasty and it comes in a good portion. Just sprinkle some lime juice on it - and it's good to go! We ended up purchasing a few gift cards to get the $25 promo with full intentions on coming back more frequently in the new year to this location. read more

Apparently they changed their policy and their patio is NOT dog friendly. beautiful Denver afternoon, empty patio, just sad.

The salsa that came with the free chips was fantastic!! So good. The spicy margarita was just okay. It was more cucumber than jalapeno. Would not order again. We also ordered the trio appetizer. It was pretty good. The fish taco however, was amazing!! So delicious. My husband had the double decker taco and ate the entire plate, so it must have been delicious. Would probably rate a 4.5. read more

Was in Denver and stayed at a nearby hotel. Front desk recommended this place. It was a short walk to where we stayed. First of, you are greeted with a warm welcome by their hostess. The place was packed, however, it wasn't long until we were seated. They start you off with some warm tortilla chips and delicious for your table. Those alone already made a good impression on me when it comes to their food. We ordered the street corn bowl for appetizer and it was delicious! We were even treated with a free Queso as part of our appetizer. 8/10 so far! Our host was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the combo platter with the Birria, Chicken, and Shrimp enchiladas. The plate was massive. The birria enchilada was a bit tough (the meat) but all else was good. Restaurant's ambience was nice especially for date nights or just a night out with some friends and family. Definitely recommend this place! read more

I had high hopes for this place since it was recommended by my foodie friend. However, it was a disappointment. My waiter was truly fantastic and super kind and attentive. He was slammed but stopped by regularly and never rushed when at our table. The ambiance was cute and trendy. The queso and chips were tasty, but very runny (messy). But then everything else was downhill. Our little kids' meal came in a normal amount of time but we waited forever for the adult food. Our kids were long done while we waited. Then, the combo plate that's their specialty was inedible. Everything was way over salted, and I normally like salt. The carnitas I almost had to spit out since I felt like I was just eating straight salt. The enchilada wasn't quite as bad but I was gulping down water at a bite of each. The birria taco was the most reasonable but still super salted. I asked the kind waiter if he could replace the carnitas and enchilada with a less salted version but he said the carnitas was premade so couldn't be. He nicely offered to cancel the meal and have me reorder. read more

Great decor. Amazing patio. Wish I wasn't getting over a cold, the drinks looked awesome! For food we had the Baja trio of dips. So delish! The flautas were the best I've ever had. The good - food is fresh and good and the ambiance is cool. The bad - and this is insane, in my opinion - I was told (by the manager, it appears - guy with shaved head on the sides and back) that a salsa refill would be $5. A salsa refill. As in, the little cup of salsa that goes with the free chips. Have no fear, though, chip refills without salsa are free! I understand that restaurants are dealing with increased costs, but charging $5 for an extra small cup of salsa, especially when the entree is $24 (chicken fajitas) doesn't fly with me. $1? I can handle that. read more

We got there at " change of shift". Surprisingly there was a good crowed at 4 pm. When we finally asked for a server, we got the best of the best. (I don't remember his name.. sorry) we each had a happy hour toasted coconut margarita. So yum. A happy hour quesadilla, happy hour chili relleno, and crispy carnita fajita. Chili relleno huge portion for a happy hour. The fajitas had every thing you'd want in a fajita. Perfect. read more

This is an absolute yes for me. The food was SO good - I can't stop thinking about the salsa that was reminiscent of one of my favorite places from my hometown. The rice was weirdly/insanely good. Crispy carnitas and birria tacos were standout. There are so many things on the menu I want to try. Great drinks/cocktails, service was incredible which I didn't necessarily expect, figured they'd be working out the kinks since they just opened and were super busy but that wasn't the case. Been to this place 3 times now. The drinks are amazing (love the painkiller) and the food was pretty solid. The location with the patio and the indoor/outdoor feel is also great. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 because out of the 3 times we've been, we got exceptional service only once on the last visit. If the service continues to improve I'd bump this to a 5. The first visit we sat at the bar and service was average. The middle visit the service was bad. The waiter felt more comfortable standing by food window waiting and talking instead of checking on tables. Had to ask another waiter at one point and he was amazing but our guy was not. read more

I want to give Lady Nomada 4.5 stars but there's no way to give half stars. The service here was excellent! The staff at the door were very friendly, good runners were nice, and our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. This was also very family friendly which I really appreciated. I loved my margarita, the Cali Caliente. It was so refreshing and tasty! We had the Baja Trio which came with salsa, queso, and guacamole. The salsa and guacamole were perfect. The pico on top of the queso changed the queso consistency to a little lumpy (like when you add something too cold to cheese and consistency changes). My 5 y/o is mostly spice adverse and they offered to bring her queso without the toppers. She was so excited (and I loved this offer without asking, I wouldn't have asked but said that'd be great when they did). My tacos were all perfectly cooked inside (shrimp, fish, pork). My daughter's food must have been ready first and then hung out for a minute before my food was up. Hers came out very dry. Both of our rice was overcooked. Hers was mushy and crispy. Her pork was also overdone. Overall tho, we loved our experience. We will definitely be back. The staff and food were great! It's really nice to see a new restaurant in the area.
