I stopped by Ash and Agave for a work lunch with coworkers. I will say this restaurant is a great place to have business meals. The atmosphere is great for conversation (not too loud and not too quiet) and it was evident that the wait staff were trained well to take care of people there for business. The food was good. We were all a big fan of the appetizers. The carrots were cooked well and tasty. The spicy tuna churros stole the show. I was hesitant when I first saw it on the menu but I'm glad we tried it. It wasn't that spicy at all but the flavor was great. The entrees on the other hand were mediocre. We were all a bit disappointed in the quality of the entrees especially because the appetizers were so good. The drinks were great. If you are a fan of mezcal, I would highly recommend the El Solora. It was just the right amount of smokey. I would recommend coming here for drinks and maybe just sharing the appetizers as long as you aren't that hungry.

Upscale atmosphere with a creative menu and some standout dishes. The warm spinach salad was the real hitter. Rotisserie chicken was excellent, especially paired with the fresh green sauce and tortillas. Service seemed taxed and the flow felt off- our wood-fired oysters never arrived, and the appetizer and entrees came out at the same time. Dessert menu leaned heavily toward alcohol-based options. Cool spot!

I came here for lunch and could not make up my mind on the menu so I got a few things and shared with my co-worker. We started with guacamole and whipped ricotta toast. We also go the complimentary chips and salsa. I loved the salsas! There were 3 and they were all very different. I especially loved the one that was like a chili oil. The guacamole came with a ton of chips that had cheese sprinkled all over them and toasted. Delish!! The ricotta - also tasty!!! I had the steak taco and I loved that the flour tortilla was toasted and slightly crispy on the ends. Lots of flavor. It was a great lunch!!

This just opened in the cherry creek mall in the former California Pizza Kitchen space -- and I've already been twice and am a big fan! Modern coastal Mexican vibes here are on point! Great spot for a moody date night or happy hour on a patio. Plus super friendly service. What to order / what they're known for: - Agave cocktails and flights - Vegetarian apps like the roasted carrots and maizitos (fried sweet & spicy corn fritters) - Seafood apps like the baja mussels, barbecued prawns, and the best chargrilled octopus I've had in along time! - Raw apps like the sea bass ceviche and spicy tuna churros (the latter is like a better version of spicy tuna on crispy rice and a must) - The queso fundido, of course - Great salads like the Caesar for a lunch option - A meat locker of well-sourced meats for their signature lamb and beef dishes, including the most tender filet!

Brand new restaurant and loved it! Their guacamole was delicious and highly recommend. Also had their birra taco but my favorite taco was Gaucho. They don't validate parking which is annoying but staff was great, good vibes, and super cute inside.

Just tried Ash & Agave in Cherry Creek, and wow--what an incredible experience, especially for a restaurant that's only been open four days! The service was absolutely excellent--attentive, friendly, and seamless from start to finish. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. Every dish felt unique, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with care. It's not your typical Mexican fare--there's a creative twist that makes everything feel fresh and exciting (and seriously delicious!). The atmosphere is just as impressive--stylish, welcoming, and perfectly put together. Honestly, it's hard to believe they've only just opened because everything was executed flawlessly. Highly recommend checking it out--we'll definitely be back!

First time here. This attached to the mall Cherry Creek. Don't worry I'm f Texas and the margaritas here are worthy!! Lively upbeat place! Great music and friendly staff! Definitely coming back!

Taylor and Diego are so fun. Amazing people and bartenders. And so oddly enough no my niece really well. Small World!!

We were so lucky to be able to dine here before they officially open tomorrow 4/5/26. Literally everything was on point.... The vibe, the people, the service, and of course the food and drinks. We are giving it a 10.0 / 5.0!!! Cannot wait to go back. See pics for more details on each dish. STAR OF THE SHOW!!!! Papas al carbon (cooked in beef tallow, with just the right amount of garlic) dipped lightly in the salsa macha aioli. I'm still dreaming about these papas. 2nd STAR OF THE SHOW!!!! We almost didn't order this and I'm so happy we did. Cause you know you get good chips and guac almost everywhere. The chips and guac were truly fabulous. Just so that it's clear.... I have ZERO AFFILIATION with Ash and Agave. Just a foodie in search of fun and fabulous food & drinks. And such a small world. Two of the incredible people/bartenders we met know my niece Jessica Rivera (who is newish to Denver) very well. How cool is that? They are affiliated with Oliver's and Blue Island Oyster so make sure to get those rewards!!! #FunFastFabulous #FunFastFabulousbyGina #FunFastFabulousFoodByGina

"Ash & Agave completely exceeded expectations. My friends and I had such an amazing experience last night. We started with the oysters and prawns, which were both incredible, and the warm spinach salad was unbelievably good. For dinner, we shared the short rib barbacoa, strip steak, plus lobster and bone marrow, and everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The coconut margarita was so good, and every drink we had was excellent. Beyond the food, the service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance is just gorgeous -- such a beautiful space. Ash & Agave absolutely nailed every part of the experience, and I can't wait to go back.

Carrots, spicy tuna churros, bell pepper cocktail, free chips and salsa trio!

Really great food, service, and ambiance. Ordered the carrots, tuna churros, and seafood enchiladas and WOW everything was impressive. Same with the bell pepper cocktail, a must try!!! Will be back

This is the Michelin restaurant that you go to if you like a more casual / less stuffy experience. Food: 4 Every dish that we ordered was delicious, but slightly on the heavy side without anything light/acidic to break it up. Perhaps it's because of what we chose to order though! Frijoles Puerco: This was a play on refried beans and chorizo. The chorizo has a little kick to it. The sourdough tortillas were delicious and served fresh and warm. Callo De Hacha Al Horno: The scallops were a flavor bomb served in a serrano ponzu and tomato butter. I'm unsure why the scallops were cut into smaller pieces instead of left whole... Enmoladas De Pollo: This was essentially chicken enchiladas cooked in mole so I was skeptical if I would find this dish worthwhile. They proved me wrong as this was one of the best dishes of the night. The mole was flavorful, not too heavy, and the chicken enchilada was so well cooked. Birria De Borrego: The lamb shank was cooked until it was fork tender. After taking it apart, wrap it in a fresh and warm tortilla with refried corn beans and salsa. The lamb was well cooked and made for a good balanced bite, but it did feel special. Service: 5 We set at the chef table and was able to watch as they finished and plated each dish. The chef was attentive without being overbearing/annoying and we had a good conversation with him. Food came out at a good pace. Ambiance: 5 The restaurant is small and cozy. It didn't feel stifling or pretentious as other fine dining restaurants can sometimes feel. This would be perfect for a date or dinner with friends.

Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. I was vaguely familiar with Chef Richard Sandoval due to his brief appearance on Top Chef, but didn't know too much about his cuisine. The brunch has a really fun and original idea in that you can order bottomless small plates for $42 per person or bottomless food and drinks for $59 in person, with a two-hour limit.
