Obsessed with Postino's board & bottle! I know, it's a tough day/time with it being Mondays/Tuesdays later in the evening, but if your schedule permits and you can work this in, it's such a fantastic deal! And the bruschetta are always sooo good, as well as the vast majority of the wine options! I can't say I've ever been disappointed. The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable if you can describe to them what kind of wine you want and like. As for the bruschetta, like I mentioned, they are all good, even the ones that aren't my personal preferances they stiill aren't bad, but my absolute favorite is the artichoke. I usually get two of them because it is so creamy and delicious. I also like the salami a lot, probably my second, and the lox/salmon is good, too. PS, you can also recork your bottle if you aren't a pro wine drinker for the board & bottle special. It's truly a no-brainer for the price to go ahead and get that bottle and 4 slices for a mere $25. I've tried a few other things here, as well, I can't say anything bad! And the place is often packed so that says a lot. read more

Postino is always a reliable spot for a snack and a little girl time. We had just left the movies and this is just a short walk around the block so it was the perfect opportunity, unfortunately, we got there at 5:30 which was 30 minutes past the end of happy hour (so no six dollar glasses of wine, boo) Instead, I had a cucumber honey lemonade, which was so refreshing and my friend and I split the French dip sandwich, which was so good and the salad it came with was just the right amount. My friend also ordered the salad with the candied walnuts, and when it came out, it had barely any toppings. She almost was too shy to say something, but I spoke up for her and the kitchen remade her salad with no issue, luckily, it was much better the second time around Our server was super sweet and attentive. Postino always has a solid selection on their menu and really creative designs in their restaurants. I've visited each one around the Denver Metro area, and I love their level of consistency, but also staying unique. Recently, some friends and I stopped in for a happy hour drink and some small bites. The weather was warm so we sat out on the patio and once the sun, our waiter turned the heaters on to keep it comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their food and for the most part, the wine choices were on point as well. The one drawback I would say was our service was not the most attentive. We came here on a Friday. It was pretty packed but we had made reservations a few hours before and it was not hard to get a table. The hostess and servers were down-to-earth and seemed happy to be there. Their menu is not extensive (think heavy appetizers), but everything we got was good to very good. The fried cauliflower and bruschetta board were our favorites. Drinks were excellent. This location has great decorations and a very fun vibe. We went with older kids and felt welcome, but I think Postino has more of an adult happy hour vibe. It was a really good deal, too! For $25, you get a bottle of wine and a bruschetta board, which is hard to beat. They have a very large selection of wine bottles to choose from, we went with the Riesling and it was very light and fruity. For bruschetta, we ordered the caprese, smoked salmon, fig and prosciutto with mascarpone, and goat cheese with pepper jelly! Every option was solid, but the caprese and goat cheese were definitely my favorites. Even though it was packed for a Tuesday, the service was still amazing and didn't feel rushed (I did make a reservation and would suggest doing that if you're coming in for this happy hour). Such a sweet and cozy place. When walking in it's so inviting. The hostess was kind and greeted me right away. Sat at a nice booth. I ordered the Ebbio which is a sparkling rose. Nice sparking wine. Ordered the Brussel Sprout Salad. Light. Fulfilling. Substituted the dressing with a champagne vinegar dressing. I really liked it. The atmosphere was nice, not too loud. Talking to the server was great as he was full of energy. Maybe because he just started his shift about 2 hours beforehand. It was a bit chilly for a day with only a 45 degree day. My son took me here for dinner. I see this restaurant all the time when I come to visit him. I wish I would have come in sooner. I have absolutely nothing negative to say whatsoever. The food was delicious! I ordered the half sandwich and bowl of soup. The tuna sandwich was amazing. The soup for that night was French Onion. I must say that it was the best French Onion soup I've ever had. It was so full of flavor and not overly salty like most onion soups. We also ordered a Bruschetta board. This is probably my favorite postinos location. I've been to others but this location is always the most consistent on their food. Service is always quick and friendly. I never have a problem here. My favorites brushetta board with French onion, apple and Brie and honestly they are all good. Those are the two I love the most then I rotate between flavors for the other two choices. I've been to Postino's a couple times but not at this location. This is probably the best restaurant despite the parking situation (street). The ambiance, staff, and food was all top tier. My go to recommendation is the bruschetta boards but I opted for the green garden chopped salad. Wow it was so delicious and a a beautiful sight! All the dark greens. Was on par if not better than the north location with excellent service, food, and ambiance. Family was seated immediately on a Friday afternoon with fast service for drinks and food. The bread was generously covered & both crunchy and flavorable. The Everything Lox was similar to their Smoked Salmon on Pesto. I noticed different Snacky Things & Paninis versus yesterday's menu in Westminster. This location has a large wall covered with sunglasses. Also, I saw quite a few people working on laptops. We came here with vegetarian group and came out impressed! The waitress was very attentive and took care of our every needs and food restrictions. Gluten free breads were used and mozzarella cheese replaced with pesto sauce and mushrooms and avocado just to name a few. Even cked if tequila mocktail was gluten free. Apart from the great service, the food was also excellent with flavor and great creativity and texture. I ordered the mushroom fondue and it was great on every bite. The crispy cauliflower was a big surprise of a floret! Had to cut it like a steak but everybody loved it especially with the sauce! Grilled cheeses and vegetarian substituted paninis were had and everybody enjoyed their meal. I personally also had the woodchuck cider and it was also very tasty. Highly recommended. read more

Only taking a star off for a couple reasons: first being how LOUD it was in there. It was outrageous. I get that it's a busy, lively wine bar, however, my friend and I were yelling at each other because we couldn't hear, and even then we still were saying "huh?" Because of the noise level. Between the music and so many other people around us talking. So just be prepared for that if you come here. Second, I am assuming our server hasn't had to renew her license or ever seen a temporary Colorado license before? I showed her the temp license I received from the DMV (with the barcode on it) and she acted like she had never seen such a thing. She was treating me like I gave her a fake ID until I was able to get it pulled up on the Colorado ID app. Mildly frustrating. We arrived at 7 and the place was absolutely packed, so I'm glad we made a reservation. Great selection of wine and beer, however, the charcuterie boards were the star of the show for us. I hit up the soft opening of Kura Sushi up in Boulder in late July, and while on Pearl Street Mall, a sign spoke out to me. It wasn't from the two Jehovah's Witnesses standing behind their sign, but this time around, jeebus spoke out and said to my ojos, "yo Chino, $6 pitchers of beer from open (11am) to 5pm." Well, the devout dude that I am, a month later, I have not only stepped in to their Boulder location multiple times but also LoHi, Broadway, and now Colorado Blvd on a weekly basis. I'm only missing the Highlands Ranch location that is near my hood. Their HH specials are a loss leader, which is at the core of their brand strategy because this is a drinking establishment, like a Japanese izakaya without the $3-$5 small bites (only soups); everything here starts around $10, sad. Except not so sad, what they get in exchange is a successful business with constant heads through the door with the vast majority of them eating. The odd thing is that I blew this place off with a group that I had initially gone with several years back, and I never went back. One of them I had met through a Yelp event at Blue Moon, which just recently closed. Unlike a ton of businesses that have been around for decades from restaurants to breweries, if you aren't adapting to Colorado's flailing economy, you aren't paying attention to the signs. Postino's is which is why Postino's is outlasting many of them. Shout out to Nas Broadway, Tim LoHi, and Crystal, an OG out of the LBC/PHX, and Postino's HQ was founded in 2001 in Phoenix, AZ. I met a friend here for lunch and although it's been a while since I've been here, it was always amazing. This time was different. Our server forgot to put our order in and then left for the day. The server that took our order again, apologized and comped our charcuterie board. When we got our food, it was not what I had expected. The toast was burnt the Caprese had no drizzle and only a tiny basil leaf and the prosciutto looked dried out like it was sitting out. The skewers we ordered were excellent as usual.
