I walked in got seated immediately from a waitress with long blonde hair. She immediately asked what I wanted to drink. I said lemonade she left didn't come back for 30 minutes finally came back and I noticed my lemonade smelled a little fishy. I then proceeded to order appetizers. I ordered the dip, duo and instead I got the trio with two balls and sausage on my plate. I proceeded to order the chicken and waffles. my waitress left and came back with just an empty plate. She got on the table and squatted over my plate, and released her bowels. I could hear the crinkling in the mushiness as it came out, then plopped on my plate. It was hard, it was smelly. I saw corn, I saw pepper. This place just sucks dude don't go here. I would say more but I don't want to ruin this place too much. Just like it ruined my tight hole and my throat

Came in for dinner while on a business trip as it came highly recommended by clients. I had been talking all day and asked if they could make a hot toddy and it was probably one of the best I've ever had! So good I got a second! I was also in the mood for a healthy dinner and the seared tuna salad hit the spot! The servers were friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The people watching was great as I got there just before it got really busy!

This place stands out due to its ambiance and excellent service and food. We normally sit at the bar and order the delicious smoked salmon and something to drink. This time we had the vegan burger and some sparkling water. Even though they were very busy the servers were great and the food delicious and fresh. Will come back every time I am in Denver!!

No Hats No hats in the dining area, but you can wear them at the bar. Food and service are always incredible. The chicken and ribeye are delicious! Try the seared ahi tuna salad and salmon with toast points for appetizers. Avoid the filet mignon - it's so thick it doesn't translate well.

Had the most amazing birthday lunch here. The food was delicious and our server Kirk was amazing. The dirty martinis are to die for!

Absolutely terrible, worst service in Cherry creek. Go literally anywhere else. 1 star because I can't post this with ZERO stars.

Ask the Community - Cherry Creek Grill

Is there still parking in back?

The parking is just the regular street parking for the Cherry Creek outdoor shopping center. There are paid lots available if you can't find street parking. During the week day you can usually find something but on the weekend make sure you plan…

Is there a happy hour before dinner?

    Unfortunately they do not.

    Is the cornbread back?

Yes and it's not the amazing cornbread they had before. Now they give you small bits of dry cornbread and over charge you for it!

This was my first Culinary Dropout experience which was on a date night and dinner outing. There was ~45 minute wait for a table as it was "dinner rush hour" before the weekend. We were seated in the bar area at a high top so we were very close to live music performer! So that was an enjoyable portion of the experience! The interior was dimly lit, loud and lively, and offered a rustic but modern feel. Based on this experience, food was overpriced and mediocre. We tried the fish and chips ($23) and fried chicken ($26). We were disappointed the fish and chips were not served with fresh lemon to "baptize" the fried fish. Fries were limp and didn't seem fresh. Also thought the fried fish should have had a crispier crust. The fried chicken was good flavor and texture on fried crust but the white meat was very dry. Mashed potatoes and gravy were lukewarm and not served hot. Also I tried to season the mashed potatoes but the pepper grinder at the table was completely empty. Biscuit was dry, overcooked, and lacked butter. Probably will opt for other options next date night.

We told the waitress about our previous experience regarding my boyfriend's burger being super raw and she suggested that he get his burger cut in half, which worked! It was cooked well. I got the tuna melt and it was pretty standard, but delicious regardless. The star of the show, however, had to be the appetizers. We got the wings of two flavors that the waitress recommended. I don't remember the names, but one of them had a mustard taste to it and I really enjoyed it. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with the pretzels. They are soft, warm, and go perfect with the dip so well. Cherry Cricket this time was a great experience and we would come back for the pretzels alone.

The menu is simple though when you start to think about all the ways you can have a burger, it can get overwhelming. Which was what I did and last minute I switched it to just the Vera Cruz winning burger replacing the 1/2 pound cricket burger with their bison burger. Either way it was delicious. The cherry bomb app was an amplified fried cheese stick with an amazing raspberry sauce that went great with it. Plenty of seating including a large outdoor shaded patio that's pet friendly. Service was speedy and efficient. Street parking/public parking structure nearby.

The rotisserie chicken was delicious and a great portion size definitely enough to fill me up. The apricot glaze was a really nice addition, and overall the chicken was top-notch. It comes with the warm kale panzanella. The kale itself was solid, but I wasn't particularly blown away by the croutons/panzanella portion of the dish. Still, the chicken more than made up for it. The French dip, though, was INCREDIBLE. Hillstone absolutely knocked this one out of the park. The beef was fantastic, and the whole sandwich just worked. I would highly recommend this to anyone coming here, definitely one of the standout dishes we've had. We substituted the French dip's usual side for the creamed corn, which was classic, comforting, and very yummy. A great side choice. And, as always, the cocktails were stellar. Hillstone consistently delivers on that front. Another great meal at Hillstone, and the French dip is now firmly on my list of must-order dishes.

While the host was friendly and the waitstaff was helpful, several aspects of our meal were disappointing given the strict dining guidelines and supposedly high-endish experience claimed by this restaurant. Our experience with the food was inconsistent: - Appetizers: Since the grilled artichokes were unavailable, we ordered the artichoke and spinach dip. While the dip was flavorful, the tortilla chips were a letdown; we felt toast points or focaccia would have been a better accompaniment. - Entrees: The California burger and French Dip were good, though grilling the roll for the French Dip would have improved the texture. The Emerald Kale Chicken Salad was only average, as the chicken was quite fatty. - Sushi: The Coconut Shrimp Roll was the most significant disappointment. It lacked flavor and left an unpleasant taste that even wasabi could not mask, resulting in most of it going to waste. - Sides: The french fries were excellent and the highlight of our meal. Crunchy and perfectly salted. Overall, considering the expectations set by the dining policies, the experience was underwhelming and we do not plan to return.

Starting with my favorite and the absolute knockout: The Dry-Aged Bistecca Agnolotti. Think of a ravioli pouch, but smaller and better, filled with meat, sitting in a bed of the most perfectly browned brown butter with thick parmesan shaves on top. You think it's over, and then your server comes and pours a sweet yet vinegary reduction on top. I'm actively eating it for breakfast as I write this. Insane. Will be thinking about this for a few days. The others in the group got the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which is one of their most popular dishes. It was good (we swapped bites), but mine was better. For the table we split a Caesar (which I do wish had more dressing, but I love a dressing so that could just be me), filet mignon meatballs (4 in an order which was perfect for our group of 4), and the tuna and avocado carpaccio. Favorites were the meat and fish. We used the bread to sop up the meat sauce at the end. Lastly, the Chicken Parm Pizza was ordered for the table. Basically, the "crust" of the pizza is chicken parm. I think it's a little expensive for what it was, but I'm glad I got to try it with a bigger group. Can't imagine reordering it, solely for the size and cost, but it was a unique food experience. Drinks at the table included a Barbera, a Chardonnay, a Sangria, and a Spritz. All good. Overall, service was great, restaurant is beautiful, dishware is pretty, and vibes are sophisticated yet unpretentious. You will be walking 40 days and 40 nights to the bathroom though, which is outside the restaurant, through the hotel, down the stairs, and through the hallway. Can't wait to return!!!
