We told the waitress about our previous experience regarding my boyfriend's burger being super raw and she suggested that he get his burger cut in half, which worked! It was cooked well. I got the tuna melt and it was pretty standard, but delicious regardless. The star of the show, however, had to be the appetizers. We got the wings of two flavors that the waitress recommended. I don't remember the names, but one of them had a mustard taste to it and I really enjoyed it. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with the pretzels. My husband and I make sure to stop by at least once whenever we visit Denver. Luckily the in-laws live here so it's a great excuse to visit. I want to say this was the first location but I could be wrong but it is a lot better than their other locations and I can see why it's been around for so long. There's something about the burgers that taste better here. The space looks small but it actually expands into a large outdoor area and you can bring your dogs outside so I'll note that for next time. I ordered the cricket royale and it was so good with the pretzel bun. The flavors just really worked well together. My hamburger was so good. I had a cheeseburger with the usual trimmings. My brother Ordered enchiladas because he remembered them being delicious last time he was in town , I gave him some of my burger to try and he said it was better than his meal. It's a large place with good music. The one thing that bugged me (pun intended) was all the gnats flying around our (inside) table. Swatting was needed to keep them off the food. The cherry bombs are yummy. The burgers good and the frings just ok. We had to wait a very long time for our check. We had to send for someone to get our waiter to bring it. I did not get service for about 10 minutes after being seated. We did however get service when my friend arrived. It was chaotic and not clear whose table we were. Went here for dinner after checking out the Christmas market and definitely left feeling full and satisfied. The speciality burgers they offer are a little too over the top for my taste. Don't give me wrong they sound delicious, but I don't think I'd want my entire meal to be one. I'd like to try a bite of each. I ended up making my own 1/4 lb burger with a crispy poblano, chipotle aïoli, and fresh jalapeños it was nice and spicy and delicious! They offer both 1/4 and 1/2 pound burgers. Huge restaurant, steady service and good food are its hallmarks. Sat us for a group of 11 even though we weren't all there. We had the Crybaby, and I can understand how it' was our servers favorite - if you're going in as a couple, you can ask them to cut it in half as it's a 1/2 pound burger with all the fixings We also had some fries on the side as well, very great at just under $30 for two. Okay. So, gave Cherry Cricket another chance. My mom was in town (this seemed up her alley), I was pregnant and reallllly craving a burger, so it felt like a good choice and you know what... it was! No beer for me, but the on tap selection was stellar and my mom enjoyed her local IPA. I went with a chocolate shake with heath bar and it was delish. My mom had a bison burger with jalapenos, I had the burger or the month which was gnarly, messy and worth it and we split a basket of fries. Honestly, a win. Now, fast forward to last night. My parents were in town and again, thought they'd like the vibe. It was a lovely evening and I also figured they had ample space for my newborn's stroller. Again... Success! We were seated right away and had a few options to pick from outside that fit us and bebe. The staff was very considerate and even took us out a backway to avoid stairs and removed some chairs for the stroller to fit. It's the little things, y'all. For drinks, my mom again enjoyed a local IPA (Telluride) and my dad and I had shakes - mine was chocolate and Reese's this time. We all split fries and for burgers my mom again has the bison, I went for a new burger of the month (featuring cherry pepper jam, bacon, spicy cheese sticks, and tortilla strips), and my dad has the winning 303 burger which featured chile rellano. Each one was very tasty and very filling! We all only ate half which my husband was very happy about as he got the leftovers that night :) It was our servers first shift after training and they did great. Energetic and personable. Came for a beer and the pork green chile, and let me just say, I was not disappointed! The original blue moon was crisp and fresh, and the chile was spicy and flavorful. I heard raving reviews of Cherry Cricket. So, of course I had to visit. Finally found parking, and a nice walk to location. Establishment is larger than expected with several separate dining areas. Wait staff were excellent, I think one for each dining area. He was pleasant and very attentive. I'm a Texas girl and used to extra napkins and straws normally being brought to table. Has to ask for them but no biggie. He was still great! Ordered the Cherry Cricket burger with Frings. I love homemade onion rings which he said they were but they didn't appear like it. None the less, the French fries were AWESOME. Burger was great as well and I loved the Pickles. Full bar that I didn't take advantage of since I was just getting to town and still needed to drive out to Airbnb.
