We have been going to Hillstone's since I was a kid and it was Houston's. It's some of the most consistently delicious food and friendly staff I've ever experienced. I live out of town now but I make it a point to come back because it's just that memorable. Thank you so much, I put my dog down this weekend and really needed a nostalgic meal. You never disappoint. Freshest fish I've had since CA.

Saturday Lunch at Hillstone Denver There's something about the atmosphere at Hillstone that just elevates a Saturday afternoon. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable--attentive and professional, making the whole experience feel seamless. The Highlights: Kale & Rotisserie Chicken Salad: A masterclass in texture. The finely chopped kale, tender rotisserie chicken, and that signature crunch from the sesame seeds and peanuts make this a must-order. The Club Sandwich: A classic done right. Stacked high on a perfectly toasted sesame seed bun with fresh greens and melted cheese. The thin-cut fries were the perfect salty sidekick. Apple Walnut Cobbler: You cannot skip this. The warm, gooey apples topped with a massive scoop of melting vanilla bean ice cream and those glazed, crunchy walnuts... it's a total dream. High-quality food, a sophisticated vibe, and a great way to spend the weekend in Cherry Creek. We'll definitely be back!

Hillstone is always a great place for a great dining experience. The wait staff are always very friendly and we enjoyed our food and experience here. It can be challenging to get a reservation and as most places in Cherry Creek, expect to have to pay for parking. We came here on Sunday evening, with a reservation. Every table was full and glad that we decided to plan head. They did validate our parking, which by the time our meal was over was $10 for the parking garage. We started off with the spinach artichoke dip, this has always been a favorite 9/10. They were nice enough to fill back up our salsa, so we could enjoy the remainder of our chips. We also had the coconut shrimp sushi was pretty good, great variety of things inside 7/10. I also had the nice little house salad which had a really good dressing and I was very happy with this 9.5/10. For entrees we both had the Hawaiian ribeye, mine was cooked perfectly medium rare but my partners was a little underdone for medium, 8/10 on the steaks. I am disappointed that they no longer serve this with baked potatoes as the fries leave something to be desired. The fries were a little bland and some were a little over cooked 5/10 on the fries. For additional sides we had the bell pepper with French feta, delicious 9/10 and the braised which is always a favorite of ours 8.5/10. We look forward to making it back again soon!

Hillstone is a very busy restaurant and reservations are a must. BFF and I decided on Hillstone before a show downtown. They have a parking lot in the back which is a huge benefit. We were seated right away because we did have a reservation but people who didn't were quoted up to an hour wait. Our server was Hailey, who was training a newbie, Sarah. Hailey was upbeat but seemed very distracted. When we ordered we specifically told her we were splitting the chicken sandwich and the noodle salad. We opted for the grilled peppers instead of cole slaw with the sandwich. When our food arrived the sandwich was cut in thirds. We asked Hailey about that and she said it always comes out like that. She said we should have asked if we wanted it cut in half. We had no idea that was a thing - she knew there were two of us and we were sharing. It wasn't that big a deal but it was very annoying that she tried to turn it around on us. I guess it's an example of "you don't know what you don't know". Our food was really good and the menu had a great variety but we did feel rushed because our plates were taken away as we were eating the last bites. So the best thing about Hillstone is the food - the experience left something to be desired.

One of my favorite restaurants in Denver and my go to for a reliable meal. Service is always incredible here, with attention to the small details. Really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You have to order the crisp martini because it is perfect. Our go to's on the menu include any of the sushi items, we love the tuna tartare and the pressed sushi roll. For entrees we love the crispy chicken sandwich, the cheeseburger, and the Hawaii ribeye. If you're still feeling hungry or just want a special treat, the ice cream sundae is a perfect end to a perfect meal! Final review: 5/5 stars

Great place! Came here with a friend while traveling on business. Could see this being a cute date night place, too. Nice outdoor patio with a fireplace. Highly recommend reservations. We still had to wait about 20 minutes after our reservation time, but was well worth the wait. Awesome waiter-- even apologized for the wait and surprisingly offered an appetizer on the house to compensate. Wide variety of options on the menu to meet everyone's cravings! We started with grilled artichoke for an appetizer. Would not be normally something I'd pick, but really liked it. I had the rotisserie chicken-- super tasty and juicy. My friend had the Hawaiian steak and was also happy with her order. And lastly, their Old Fashioned was one of the best. Will definitely be back next time in Denver.

A hot spot in Cherry Creek, go early or make a reservations! My fav thing on the menu is their Osaka style pressed sushi. Their sushi rolls and salads are also really good, I like the pan asian salad. Nice decor and if you are lucky there is parking out back.

Great food and beautiful restaurant- price point was high for the menu items. Very, very hard to park.

We had an amazing dinner at Local Jones (LJs) at the Halcyon Hotel, visiting on the second night of their new menu, and they absolutely nailed it. Our party of four was impressed from start to finish. The staff was outstanding--knowledgeable, prompt, and attentive without ever hovering. It felt like they truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. The food was excellent across the board. My New York strip was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The rest of our group loved their dishes just as much--the mussels, shepherd's pie, and braised short ribs all got rave reviews. It's not often that four totally different entrées are all home runs, but LJs pulled it off. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. We will definitely make LJs a regular stop whenever we're in Denver. Highly recommend!

The price was a bit high, but the quality of the meal was spot on. I had the seared scallops with celery root puree, pomegranate seeds, cous cous, and toasted hazelnuts. Divine. My husband had the filet mignon with Bearnaise sauce, and roasted potatoes and asparagus. Also amazing. Both dishes per cooked to perfection. All employees were professional and our server was friendly. The atmosphere was lovely--clean, warm, inviting. It was an interesting journey to find the bathroom. It's shared with other parts of the building and was the only thing that needed attending. Four stars for the messy bathrooms, price being quite high, and it was a 2 hour and 45 min dinner. Took forever. I've never had so many glasses of water in my life in such a short period of time. If you can afford it, I would certainly say the food was almost worth it--desserts were just okay, and one of the appetizers was alright.

Our server Marvis was great, he greeted us so quickly and talked through his recommendations for cocktails. We started with the magic mushrooms appetizer - I almost looked past this but It wasn't mushrooms at all. (Thank god). It was really unique and yummy. The nigiris were the standouts of the evening. - we tried the seared Ahi tuna, the grilled scallop, and the Unagi. Words cannot describe. If I could make a meal out of Nigiri alone, I would but with just two pieces per serving. It definitely adds up quick. We also got the big kahuna roll and the Pittsburgh roll. The big kahuna was delicious, with a spicy kick at the end thanks to the jalapeño. had a lot of depth of flavors and good texture. We finished off with the Ube crème brûlée, which was really rich and very Ube forward, definitely a unique and yummy dish.
