Eggplant Parmesan
Judy R.

This is Denver Restaurant Week, which might explain the quality issues. The zucca chips were perfect and delicious. The calamari appetizer was cold and too salty, the side veggies were extremely spicy, the eggplant parmigiana appetizer was cold and of poor quality, and the Aperol Spritz was terrific but contained a lot of ice, so the drink was small. My bill was $90 with tip. The service was good, and we had a great table away from the highest level of noise. Parking took over 20 minutes and was $16 for 2 hours. I LOVE the Fox Concepts Restaurants!!! Once a particular concept, in this case, North Italia, is sold to the Cheesecake Factory, it goes downhill. Sam Fox knows how to make a restaurant great!

The food was delicious. I highly recommend the spicy rigatoni vodka. Our server was great and the ambiance was nice.

We did takeout because of young kids - and after a very long day! It was still great. We are first time customers. Truffle bread was delicious. It is strong in truffle as expected, so if that's not your thing don't get it! Brussels were cooked perfectly. Caesar salad was good, slightly heavy in acidity than I'd like, but I also couldn't stop eating it. Pesto with chicken was great. Added shrimp, but they only have a couple pieces that were cut in half. While perfectly cooked - didn't make the dish better. Chicken was fantastic though. Bolognese was immaculate. Fresh noodles. It was so divine. Kids pizza was extremely well made and very generous size.

A friend and I were at the Christmas market and looking for a place to enjoy a dinner and chat. I had read reviews but never been here before. We arrived early and were sat by a patio window ( great street views) our server was attentive and friendly with some suggestions we had a butternut squash soup and a huge market salad and we split a special pizza that was so delicious. We also ordered "white elephant gift" mocktails- these were a hit! The restaurant has lots of tables! And it was a tight squeeze when more diners were seated, so when we left it was packed and there were not a lot of tables to sit at - good / bad hard to squeeze by. I will return for date night with my spouse to enjoy other selections soon.

I love north Italia! Every single dish here is always so good. My favorites are always the beef carpaccio and strozzapreti. We also got the prosciutto pizza, roasted salmon, wild shrimp scampi, and crushed meatball ragu and we enjoyed all of the dishes. The restaurant was really busy so the food did come out kinda slow but we didn't mind at all because the service was top tier. Always love the vibe and energy here. Def one of my favorite restaurants here in CO.

Holiday Lunch Special menu - excellent deal!

This place has become one of my favorite spots. Great food. Consistently. Good service. Consistently. Prices that are justified. Consistently. Though I've been tempted, I haven't repeated a dish here (well, except for the 'simple salad' which is much more complex than you might think). Arancini - creamy and deliciously peppery. Bread - fluffy and crusty, excellent oil & vinegar. Simple salad - pine nuts, bleu cheese, tomatoes, romaine. Excellent. Today I also got the shrimp scampi off the lunch menu - really tasty! The bolognese is exceptionally traditional. Today, we went for lunch with my in-laws and the food was taking a while... we were approached by a man with some meatballs. Before we could say "we didn't order these", he said the kitchen was backed up and or food was taking longer than it should have, but he wanted to get something in front of us. That was thoughtful and the meatballs are so tender! What could have been a frustrating interaction was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert. But I have no doubt all four of us will return, whether as a group or not.

GREAT FOOD, SERVICE AND AMBIANCE IN DENVER ========================================== I made a reservation for a big group of ten on August 3, 2025 for dinner at this restaurant in Denver. My husband and I were on a road trip and on our way to Indianapolis. Denver was a great spot to stop considering I have a bunch of cousins there. I arranged with my cousins a few weeks before on the date and a few days before we decided on the restaurant. I am so glad my cousin recommended this restaurant. Everything was great from beginning to end except it is very loud inside and it was difficult to talk to my whole group. If you have a group of six or less this place is great. My husband and I were at one end, so we ended up getting up a couple times to go down and talk to our family members at the other end. FOOD: We absolutely loved the crispy eggplant parmesan small plates and ordered at least four of those to share with the table. The bruschetta was good. My husband isn't a prosciutto fan, so we told them to hold that. My husband and I shared a margherita pizza and little gem caesar salad and that was great. Everyone one else loved their dinners. NOTE: Apparently it's a chain, but I had never been to one before. They have restaurants in Canoga Park, Cerritos, Santa Monica, El Segundo, Torrance, Irvine , San Diego and many other places. This chain was founded by Sam Fox in 2002 and is currently owned by The Cheesecake Factory.

This is a solid upscale Italian restaurant chain. We came here for a function and had the private room in the back. The backroom has a monitor so it would suite anyone looking to have a group lunch/dinner conference. (Note: there's a minimum spend for this room) The servers were professional and friendly; it's good to have them recommend things on the menu. The kale salad was a meal on its own: apples, cheese, kale, cranberries, with a tangy sauce. So good! ($16) For pasta we tried the spicy squid ink tonnarelli ($25) I think we can leave out the hotness and just go with the regular tomato sauce. It had shrimp, squid, and the pasta was al dente. They have a good selection of pasta dishes at a reasonable price. We tried their scallops dish ($36). Scallops came on a bed of corn risotto. It was creamy and good. For dessert we had a big cup of cappuccino and tiramisu. Overall food and drinks were great, and waitress was very attentive throughout.

Rigatoni
J Warren R.

Came here for restaurant week. This is one busy and very loud place. Even with a reservation, we had to wait a few minutes for a table to open at 5:30pm. Once seated, we listened to our server as she explained the offerings. Fresh pasta -- made in house daily. I'm impressed. ...and then her favorite dishes on the current menu. So we settled on dinner. The arugula, avocado and grana salad was large, fresh and a perfect start. The burrata was fresh, presented beautiful and delicious. What seemed strange was that neither starter came with bread or crostini. First time to have burrata without that. Then we observed other tables around us and we figured it out -- Bread is a separate order -- an upcharge. Live and learn.Gla The braised beef rib was tender, savory and rich. Also a huge portion. The rigatoni was filled with sausage and pancetta Delicious, but so much we took a box home and had enough lunch the next day. Budino was sweet. Good Italian wine list -- with a fairly high markup. Full-service bar. Parking is a nightmare in Cherry Creek, even on a weekend. The dining room is LOUD - so loud it is nearly impossible to talk to your dinner partner. Glad we tried North Italia. Btw, it is a chain with other restaurants located in just about every major city throughout the country.

The Pig pizza

This restaurant in Cherry Creek was very nice. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food came out in a reasonable time even though they were busy. My pizza was very delicious. I highly recommend checking it out.

Sally L.

Had a reservation for 11AM on a Friday. The restaurant is located in a nice area. Lots of restaurants and close to the mall. Ordered the prosciutto pizza and bolognese. The pizza was sweet from the figs and I liked the goat cheese. The bolognese was a classic. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service was good/friendly as well.

Braised Short Rib Lumache

We tried North Italia the Sunday after Valentine's. It was very busy, and quite noisy, but our waitress was very friendly and helpful while we chose dishes for our first visit. We had the grilled bread and olive oil, the burrata, chicken parm and short rib pasta. Wrapped it up with the affogato. It was delish! We will return on a hopefully quieter night to try a pizza and the pesto chicken pasta.

Not much of experience here they told us it was too busy, inside to seat two and then we would have to sit outside, even though it had just rained, and all the tables were soaked and covered in wet leaves. There was no one else outside and assumed any service if at all would be sparse. Then after they made us stand outside, wait for a server, they seated another two top right behind us. I was pretty pissed off and luckily, I was in a good mood as I was on vacation and didn't throw a fit, but I don't know if it was because I wasn't dressed up nice enough even though I planned to spend probably close to $500 on lunch and drinks, but I definitely feel like I got profiled. And I'm a tall white male, so I don't get it. Maybe I'll try to eat there again some other time but they kind of pissed me off.

They are working today with reservation or I can come and be attended!?

You can make a reservation if you wish, but this is a large restaurant and you can usually walk in without a reservation and get seated fairly quickly.

Does this place have TVs? I am going to a birthday dinner here and its during a playoff football game.

There is one small television mounted near the ceiling at the right end of the bar.

Is there Free Parking?

Not really. There are spots with parking meters all around.

Yelp suggests there are vegan options. I do not see anything marked on the menu. Is there a separate vegan menu or could you tell me what your vegan options are?

We have eaten there between 5 and 10 times. We weren't offered a vegan menu any of the times. Italian food, in general, is low in Vegan choices - manicotti brings to mind one of the exceptions. You need to review their menu. If there is something… Read more

Do they make their own pasta?

I am not 100% sure. I do know that for the gluten free pasta they use Hartland brand which is made in Italy. It is delicious! I had both pasta , and you cannot tell the difference.

It was easy to walk to without moving my car from the mall garage, which was nice since the parking near the bar itself is scarce and just street parking. They also have a great patio set up, with live fires that you can sit around. The service was great, we were greeted almost instantly, and the waiter made recommendations on his favorite drinks, I got the coco coffee cocktail, which is very popular according to the staff. It was a little too creamy for me, so not my favorite, but was tasty and elegant nonetheless. I also got the Elote dip, it was also good, but nothing spectacular. Overall, the vibe was great, though, people at other tables were friendly, and it did not feel stuffy. Prices are Cherry Creek normal, a drink is $16-20. Will definitely come back and try something new

But then there was some shady stuff going on at the front of the line (I was right at the front), and the bouncer was basically just letting in whoever he wanted, and ignoring the line. Was kind of frustrating, but we waited patiently so we could see what this place was all about. The vibes were cool, and I'd like to go back on a weeknight when it's not so busy. So, I need the service to be a little better for me to increase my rating. And then maybe try some of the bites that they offer during food service times. Idk. This place has potential... and it is really cute. Hoping for more next time.

Considering the only other US location is in California, I was surprised and knew this would be my opportunity to try it! The aesthetic is modern & elevated with Japanese wooden features. I got 3 classic dishes which was just the right amount of food. I honestly recommend coming with a group to try more items since you know everything will be delicious. The Yellowtail Jalapeño is a signature dish; the yellowtail was delicate & buttery and the citrus soy with the bight of jalapeño made each bite clean, bright, with some subtle heat. I did not expect the Rock Shrimp Tempura to be that good! The shrimp was lightly battered & fried but the sauces were the highlights! Their creamy spicy is a very well-done spicy mayo but the butter ponzu was unreal! Super addictive, rich, and unlike any sauce I've had before. Shout out to my waitress for suggesting getting both sauces on the side rather than lathered on the shrimp, which also kept it crispy. Last but certainly not least is the famous Black Cod! The fish is super buttery and flaky; there were some caramelized edges from the miso glaze which added so much depth & richness to the bite. It's a good balance of sweetness, savoriness, umami that is bound to be good. Some of courses were delicious and some were mediocre. We spent almost $700 for a party of four. The situation that needs the most improvement was the pace of the meal. The courses were separated by a 20-30-minute wait time. Considering that the courses were very small and contained 5-6 pieces for a party of four... that equates to a little more than a small bite every 20-30 minutes. The dinner took 2.5 hours to develop, and we were honestly still hungry by the end. The waiter started asking us if were "still hungry" at about the fifth courses. By the end, we felt awkward in asking for more. The wagyu beef was particularly disappointing as the beef was somewhat chewy, lacking taste and small. Waiters seemed to be near their capacity of workload. Didn't really take the time to serve, walk you thru the menus, keep the service moving or even gauge your level of satisfaction. We ordered dessert to celebrate the birthday. Apart from a small chocolate plaque on the dessert that said, "happy birthday", there was no attempt to celebrate the occasion as other less exclusive restaurants do... no "happy birthday" wish, no courtesy dessert... nothing special. The best part of this meal was by far, the young couple that accompanied us. Friendly advice: if you want to impress a client with something the feels exclusive... this may be the place. If you are looking for amazing food, being pampered and feeling your money was "well spent", try another place. I don't plan to visit this restaurant soon.
