The choice this day was burgers! It was about lunch time after a morning of moving. Went around noon ish was not busy for a Wednesday service fast and host super friendly kept checking on us. Got some burgers and it was good. Perfect size not too big to be overly food and not too small and filling. Came with fries which was also good. Im a fries girly and approve. My daughter got the adult mac n cheese she enjoyed it and i took a couple bites which i thought was good as well. My son got the bowl, tho he enjoyed the top half the bottom half he couldn't finish he said the rice was drenched in the teriyaki sauce. Burger for the win my son friends got burgers as well. Talk about yumm! First, parking! They share a big open lot with the surrounding businesses, including a King Soopers. We were greeted with a big friendly hello and seated right away! Their menu has the option to build your own burger or you can order one of their creations. My friend and I both chose create your own. I played it safe and just did a cheeseburger. We went for an early dinner and the restaurant ambiance was perfect. We ordered the mac and cheese, the brussel sprouts, and the truffle shuffle. The Mac and cheese was creamy, the brussel sprouts were perfectly crisped, and the truffle shuffle was interesting-- when I saw parm chips, I suppose I wasn't expecting parm flavored potato chips . Food was good but the driver for the 3 star's were all the added fees. $.75 per salad for salad dressing, misc. back of the house fees made me feel like we were getting nickel and dimed. We had a somewhat frustrating experience during our visit. It felt like our server kept forgetting about us, which made the service feel disjointed. The most confusing and disappointing moment came when we tried to order our burgers. We were asked if we wanted to split a side of fries, even though the menu clearly stated that the "signature burgers come with house fries." When we pointed this out, the server gave us a confusing explanation and insisted that fries were an extra charge. A lot of this confusion could be avoided if the menu were updated to accurately reflect what's included. Dined at Tag Burger Bar this evening and it was nice to see a crowd at the restaurant. It's a great space to sit outside in the summer and have a nice beer. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and greeted us right away. He took our drink order while we were looked at the menu. We both decided on The Blind Texas burger. The burger was cooked perfectly , but could have used more BBQ sauce on it since you really couldn't taste it. We also got a basket of the onion strings and that was just ehh. I'm trying to figure the word to describe them, but the breading almost seemed to be still wet and not cooked long enough to get the crunch. This was more so on the bigger pieces. Been wanting to try this place. Stepped in for Wed dinner and it's a comfortable looking space with lots of spacious seating. There are games you can choose to play like Jenga or Battleship which was interesting but I didn't see anyone playing games while we dined. The service was nice but I'm thinking the lone waitress needed help. There additional servers/bus boys that brought out the food and cleaned tables but it looked like she was the only waitress. I'm mentioning that because it was pretty full and it took a little while to order and also our waters weren't replenished for a while. Anyways service was still nothing to complain about...I'm just making an observation. The food was good! Similar to the kind of food you'd get at a movie theater that does food, like an Alamo Drafthouse or one of those nicer AMCs. Service was fine, but the decor is kind of a joke, looks like every "hip millennial burger joint" you've ever seen, I'm sure people over the age of 40 find it cool and impressive. They don't tell you, but the soda is canned, $3 for a single can of soda, no refills. In a sit down restaurant setting this really screams "nickel and dime". They have games for table, will say both sketch boards were broken and they gave us a kids menu to color the burger and when asked they had no crayons??? It was the tiny slither of a chicken breast... as I ate I had far more bun than chicken. A nice juicy chicken breast would have been nice. For a $15 sandwich it left MUCH TO BE DESIRED. To add onion rings was an actual, $3 plus a $4 bottle of root beer at $23 plus tax and tip I did not leave happy or satisfied. My guest got the 1/4 lb burger and was super thin patty on potato roll. The fries had that puffy skin like in old oil - we're not good. Kind of bummed about this place it's in my area and we so needed a nice burger joint and this just didn't cut it. Came in with my fiancé today on a Thursday afternoon 4/10/25 at 4:30pm, there were 3 other tables being served. Ordered the fried pickles that were a little salty but otherwise nice and crispy. I had the Texas burger and my fiancé had the Lady Gaga. Food was great but the service was terrible. There were at least 3 servers for a very slow early dinner service. We did not get checked on once and it was blatantly obvious they were checking on all the other diners that were Caucasian. There was a table right next to us with 3 diners that arrived after us that had several servers and food runners check in them in the span that we ate. They also received a run down of the happy hour options that we did not even know about. We were the only POC in the very empty restaurant. After an expensive and so-so first visit we got a coupon and decided to give it a second try. The staff is friendly but the burgers and fries are mediocre at best. Also had some disgusting (very old?) salami on our salad, which was otherwise quite tasty. Burgers come out looking nice but are not juicy and fries are on the chewy side and taste like onion. Definitely would say save your money and go to In-N-Out or Smashburger, they would easily win a taste test. Plus it's not just expensive but they nickel and dime you, $1 for a tiny side of BBQ, and 5% in fees. To top it off the BOGO Entree Coupon was applied to our salad instead our second Entree. I hate to pile on here but the onion rings at this joint are just iinedible. They are soggy and just not good. Even my fries with the melted cheese and bacon were really soggy and looked like they had been under a heat lamp. Just take off the onion rings or change how they are made. Let's talk about the ambience. I was sorely disappointed. I know it's a bar but there was at least four tables around us that were not cleaned and had dirty dishes on them. Just makes you think the place is not clean. I had to go to the bathroom but because of the state of the restaurant I decided not too. The service and my chicken were about the only good thing that I had . I was so confused that our server was a good server but the restaurant looked so dirty. The fried pickles and the ranch appetizer was good as well. They just need to make some adjustments and the restaurant would be awesome. I remember the old tag burger and it was definitely much better than this. I feel bad because I remember the older restaurant and the food was much better. Overall we're happy with our experience. Service was good and the food came out quick. The starter just happened to outshine the entrees. Crispy salmon sushi - highlight of the meal for sure. Super tasty and 8 good-sizes pieces. We would come back just for this item. Chicken sandwich - lots of great flavor, but the chicken was overcooked and the breading was burnt in a few spots. Just seemed like a bad execution of a great item. I would order this again in hopes that that was a one-off issue. Our culinary adventure turned out to be more of an epicurean odyssey into the realm of the salty and the bewildering! It's always a tragedy when the buildup of securing a table at a hot new spot fizzles out with each disappointing dish. The fried pickle disrobed of its entire batter with one bite naked, floppy and salty was almost a metaphor for the whole meal--promising on paper but falling apart upon encounter. Im sure it wished it was still a cucumber. As for the Brussels sprouts, it seems they've become the ubiquitous little cabbages that could... be the same at any and every restaurant these days. A wedge salad sans the blue cheese is a cardinal sin in the salad world, akin to Hamlet without the prince. The only thing blue was my daughter's sad face! Not to mention that the salad came already chopped? And then there's the truffle burger, stripped of its truffley essence, masquerading with a plebeian potato chip topping--oh, the audacity! It's also truly a culinary misstep to serve a burger less done than requested, especially when it's dusted with more flour than a baker's apron. Not sure if the team was going for the peasant rustic look or the out of the bag, I forgot to toast it look? The "adult Mac and Cheese" garnished with soggy goldfish is an adventurous twist, perhaps too avant-garde for its own good. The onion rings were so fried that they were reminiscent of an experiment from a bomb calorimeter. In a city bustling with gastronomic options, it's a shame this restaurant didn't live up to its locale's legacy. Visited on a Saturday afternoon when there were only a few tables seated. Took awhile to be greeted by our server. She left us with a water carafe and 2 dirty glasses. Took forever to come back to take our order. She had no other tables. We got sandwiches, fries and onion rings plus a salad to start. I also got a tea. The food took too long and the burgers and fries came out first and then 2 mins later our salad came out. The silverware we were told to use were sitting in the condiment caddy with a pen and some bits of trash. Old lettuce was on one fork. We cleaned them with a napkin and the water carafe. Nasty!! The burgers were mid and the onions rings were so soggy and oily they were not edible. The salad was measly and had too much lettuce on the verge of going bad. Never got asked if I wanted a tea refill because the waitress disappeared and we didn't see her again. I had to ask another server for the check. Wish we had gone somewhere else. Not even worth close to the $60 we paid. I've been wondering if our check was wrong too, but we just wanted to get out of there. read more

My son came in about a week ago to apply for a job and the owner was very disrespectful about it, insisting they were fully staffed. Realistically they are very understaffed. From reading other reviews it seems the owner is charging ridiculous prices to "pay staff" although they don't have enough! If I were the owner I would be truly embarrassed about this place. 100/100 heath code?? But there is hair in my food? Definitely will not be eating here again. You pay extra. And to top that off we were charged a strange 4% additional tax. We asked our sever and they said, "oh ya that's to help pay the kitchen staff." Note to owner; that's your job buddy. Ordered two kids shakes for $5 each according to the kids menu and we were billed $7 each. Server said oh ya I will let the manager know but didn't adjust our bill. That's false advertising. Had a very nice time here the other night! Service was quick, margarita was delicious, and the food was so good! I had a chicken club sandwich that was huge with a really juicy piece of meat and a nice potato bun. We shared a crispy sushi appetizer, which was delicious and a very generous portion. the space is clean and well designed. Lots of TVs if you're going to catch a game. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed talking to Hansel and hearing part of the story of his name. We will be back to hear the rest sometime soon. read more
