My favorite was definitely the loaded fries--crispy, cheesy, topped with bacon and jalapeños, and packed with flavor. I'd happily order those again. The giant pretzel was great for sharing, and the hummus plate was a nice lighter option. The grilled broccolini was also surprisingly good. The only dish that didn't quite hit the mark for me was the wings. They had good flavor but were a little dry. Overall, the food was good, but nothing that really stood out as unforgettable. I enjoyed the most delicious cauliflower salad with blackened salmon at the Lowry Beer Garden. Such great flavors and the salmon was perfectly cooked. It was so good that I am debating going back tomorrow for lunch. My husband got a Sante Fe burger with a garden patty and said the veggie patty was so good, he almost thought it was real beef! I always enjoy visiting the Lowry Beer Garden when I am in the Lowry area (this night was for a HS hockey game down the street at Big Bear). Even for a late Saturday afternoon, the place was busy with just 1 table (2 seats) available inside and most of the long benches near heaters outside full. The tables away from heaters had space because... it was chilly and no one wanted them! A tremendous beer selection inside from many local Colorado breweries, along with wine and cocktails. Their Old Fashioned is made with Buffalo Trace and was fantastic! Food is also good here. I enjoyed the Elk and Jalapeño brat while sipping on a refreshing Porter. You order and pickup your drinks and food here, so don't sit down and wait on staff. Parking is plentiful, but can fill up if the beer garden has a lot of visitors. If you do sit outside, the Wings Over the Rockies museum is right next door, with a few static displays out front. read more

Scam scam scam. They have adopted this new policy where they add twenty percent to all orders. They post they are doing this so you need not worry about tipping employees. Here's the rub though... Tip who for what? I stood in line to order my food. Then I went and sat down with a beeper that would go off when my food was ready. Then I walk my ass to the counter to pick up my food. I fill my own drink on the way back to the table carrying my food. Then, when I'm done, I take my own trash to the bins and leave. At no time did any employee do anything for me aside from taking my order! So, the mandatory twenty percent fee covers exactly what? This is a bullshit charge that gains me exactly nothing. We went 2 weekends ago with our puppers. They have a side area where dogs can come in (it was cold outside), but they aren't allowed in the main area of the restaurant. We got beers, pretzel, chicken nuggies and a Philly cheesesteak. Staff was super friendly and they even had blankets outside so you could sit by the fire place. Food was good and beer was yummy! Burger was good and juicy (just didn't like how thick the tomato slices were). Philly cheesesteak was small so was upset about that (especially for price). The area is cool since it's next to the museum so nice view since it's all outdoor seating. Don't be surprised with an automatic 20% charge service fee. It's a self order, self serving, self seating, and self cleaning place so not sure why a charge like that is placed if I walk up to order myself, grab the food myself, find a seat for myself, and clean up the table myself. This is the perfect place to grab food and/or drinks right next to the air museum! They have indoor and outdoor seating options aplenty and a pretty vast menu of food and beers available. Our cashier was very friendly and patient with us as we decided on our order. He was quick to provide an easier to read draft list and some suggestions. We ordered fried cheese curds and loaded fries with our beers. The food was ready within 5-10 minutes and came out in paper boats on a tray. I was pleasantly surprised at the volume of cheese curds that came in the order. The jalapeños were definitely spicy and the french fries themselves were lightly salted and thinly cut. The beer garden has bathrooms down a long, windy, and well-marked hallway. The women's had two "regular" stalls and one handicapped. This used to be one of our favorite places in Denver but the food has gotten so bad in the last two years. We always looked forward to it for both good beer and great food. Over the last two years the food has slowly gone downhill. Tonight was the worst yet: soggy French fries (regular and sweet potato); the poke bowl was drowning in both soy sauce and mayo which were fighting for dominance in my mouth; the hamburger was blonde; the chicken nuggets were more batter than chicken; they no longer serve a pulled pork sandwich yet the Cuban had so much pulled pork it may as well have been a pulled pork sandwich. There aren't many places you can go for good beer AND good food so I'm deeply disappointed and hope that management turns things around. Swung by here right before my flight and it was such a lovely day a lovely time and lovely atmosphere. The garden was filled with happy people on a Wednesday afternoon around 4pm. All the drafts were local and were on happy hour between 3pm and 6pm. They also sell wine and spritzers. The right side of the place is the bar and the left side is for food. They actually sell a good amount of food. Burgers, brats, salads, sandwiches. You can also get them to go. It's quite an operations. The place has a small inside and a large outside which is dog friendly. You have to walk thru the front yard patio which has bench seating and for the really hot days they have umbrellas at each bench. It's also children friendly and was a good mix of children and pets / animals. You can easily fit hundreds of people inside. Parking is terrible however. It shares a tiny lot with a dozen or so other businesses. It's a cute spot tho and if I were local I would come here often. read more

Ordering occurs at the counter, then you are given a pager to retrieve your food when it's ready. The turnaround time is quite fast. We tried the reubenesque (beer brat done reuben style), and elk brat, and the fish and chips, and an order of fried pickles. Everything was very good, although I thought the thousand island was a little too sweet for my taste. The fried pickles were excellent. We live really close & love inviting friends to meet here for drinks/beers/food. It NEVER disappoints. I love that they auto-grat so we don't have to overthink anything. Their rotating seasonal cocktails are divine (my fav being their recent blackberry Paloma ) & tbh, the prices are really great on cocktails & beers. We never feel like we are overspending when we go. They have heaters outside so we can bring our baby bear, Alba + shade in the summer. We have also ordered take-out plenty of times & they always get our order right & hook us up with sauces. I have not been back here in nearly a decade. This place has changed so much but still really fun for drinks with friends and family. They have ample seating that's covers and not covered. It was very busy when we went but the service was fairly quick to get us our drinks and food. So I ordered a blue cheese burger (yeah wrong name but that is what it is), box of chicken bites, pretzel, fries, onion rings and fish. To start off, yes the food arrived warm--well packaged and overall nice presentation. Now, the down side--the "coleslaw" if you can call it that--was bitter as though it had spoiled or was not refrigerated. The blue cheese was also bitter, not supposed to be. Overall flavor of the burger was lacking, even though the bun was good. The chicken bites were done very well and were extremely tasty and fresh. The fish was done the same way--very good and tasty, flaky and what one should expect when ordering battered fish, sure from frozen, though still cooked properly. The onion rings tasted like burnt oil and smelled of fish--you should never cook other products in oil used to cook fish--. The pretzel was ok--Helga's has some great pretzels so comparing the two--it was ok. The fries were oily, limp and tepid--pretty difficult to screw up fries though--it happens. The fries had the same fish taste as the onion rings--which is unfortunate. Threw out half the burger--the fries and all but two onion rings (after tasting)--no I did not eat everything as others ate, though I did taste.
