This place always takes great care of its customers. The manager is incredibly sweet, and you can tell she runs a tight ship while still making everyone feel welcome. The staff is always kind, attentive, and happy to help with orders or recommendations. The location is perfect--right in the heart of Parker--and it's almost always packed with a great mix of people. This time, I tried the mahi tacos and absolutely loved them! If you're not a fan of spicy food, I recommend asking for the sauce on the side. Seems things have changed since I visited a couple years ago. Quality downhill unfortunately. Steak and gnocchi was not good/ gnocchi tasted raw with bad flavor- we tossed it. This restaurant is conveniently located next to The Parker Hotel that we were staying at. The hotel gave us a coupon for 10% off which is mostly why we decided to check it out. I'd like to say first that our server was super nice! She checked on us often and had great service the entire time. We ordered fries which came with a smoked aioli that was really good & ketchup. Chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. The chicken tenders were crispy but the meat was a bit tough to bite off and generally could have used some seasoning. We also got the Brussels sprouts w/out bacon and those were good! I did attempt to order a beer (cider) off the menu they had but was informed it hasn't been updated in a while so they didn't have it. This space was near our hotel, so we went out of convenience. It was nice and not as loud as expected for a taproom. Our server was great and very attentive. Tried ordering a seltzer and they were out of it. Bummer! Decided not to drink tonight. Food: French Fries- the smoked aioli was incredible! So yummy! I will be craving that. Reminded me of smoked string cheese. Yummm! Chicken tenders (handmade gf breading) and fries (subbed sweet potato). I liked the crunch on these and dunked in honey mustard. I've been to West Main Taproom & Grill twice now. They offer a variety of food, beverages, a ton of beers (hence the taproom) and a mix of bar and restaurant atmosphere. The servers are friendly and top of their game. The sea salt fries are cooked to perfection with just enough salt and served with an aioli (good not my favorite) and ketchup (a fry dipping sauce always!) The Green Chili is flavorful and served with flour tortillas for dipping. It does have a bit of heat. It's between thin and thick consistency. I liked it but not the best Green Chili I've had. The Fish N Fries (not chips) is delicious with large pieces of gluten-free beer battered Cod. It is served with vinegar and tartar sauce. Since I already talked about the fries above no more needs to be said! The dessert I tried was the skillet cookie. The person I came with didn't want yet I wasn't deterred by smashing the dessert myself. How can you go wrong with ooey gooey chocolate cookie topped with ice cream? You can't! The restaurant is clean as were the bathrooms (floors a bit slick when snowy/rainy) The parking is shared by the Parker Hotel and Ovest Via. Will come back. read more

Sat early evening visit without reservation Ended up waiting for about 30 minutes. It was very crowded already. However, the front staff handled very nicely. AC must not have been working and it was a 95 degree day so that wasn't fun. We had someone in training and they were very attentive - wayyy too attentive. Ans they kept separating and asking us how we were doing multiple times each. Ordered spinach artichoke dip which came out. Web soupy and weird but the flavor was good with big artichoke hearts. After my mom and I get our hair cut and colored, we make a point to stop somewhere for appetizers and mocktails. West Main has become our newest tradition and a good one at that! LOCATION + SPACE: On the corner attached to the Parker Hotel, the restaurant is easy to spot. I'll admit, parking is kind of a nightmare, in that there aren't a ton of spots available, lots of construction going on blocking off areas to park and signs everywhere to avoid the adjacent strip mall lot, stating you'll get towed. Yikes! Safest bet, to snag a spot on the side lot! Once inside, the space is bright, airy and opens to a large dining room and bar top. Each time we've opted to sit a table, but there doesn't appear to be a bad seat in the house. STAFF + SERVICE: Each time we've ventured here we have been greeted by friendly hosts, servers and food runners. Each person we have encountered was nice, provided good recommendations on the menu, engaged in conversation and continued to check in with us. Perfection! SIPS + SUSTENANCE: Impressively enough, there is a decent mocktail list, which we continue to take advantage of! Specials are offered each season which is fun too. Their regular menu is large, offering wine, beer and cocktails that all look and sound delicious! The food is stellar, and we have yet to have a disappointing experience. Most recently, we ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which came piled high with house made slaw and fries. It was beautiful in presentation and tasted divine! Totally hit the spot! Hey guys so I've found myself back at West Main Taproom again! It's my third visit & I've been eating my way through the menu. It's a great place for big groups with different tastes & preferences, that's what keeps bringing us back to west main. Let me start off by saying if you are gluten sensitive or gluten free, this place is definitely a must try for you. This particular visit I had the brisket tacos & man they were spot on. Super tender brisket paired with pickled onions chipotle crème & avocado. To start our group ordered the giant mozzarella stick & I always order the Brussel sprouts they're truly my fav. The rest of the table ordered the crispy chicken sandwiches seasoned with Nashville & buffalo, also the soup of the day & ribeye tacos special of the evening. For me this restaurant is consistent the food is always what we've ordered. They've been super accommodating to all our allergies & our vegetarian friends as well. Service is hmmm well if it's busy then expect longer wait times & servers not to be as attentive. Honestly it's expected with the large crowds or busier restaurants bustling with locals. The space is usually pretty clean & tidy, never really noticed. I could honestly say if you're craving American style cuisine that is consistently the same, with Italian & even Latin dishes thrown in the mix. Give em a try. Internally it has a very minimalist open concept brewery ambiance, but given that it is a taproom this makes sense and is clean and comfortable. The brunch menu was good with plenty of options, but it is separate from their standard lunch menu which you cannot order from during brunch. Our server was prompt and the cost was on the higher end of reasonable, but was helped by the large portion sizes we received. Overall I am excited to go back and see what is offered on their standard lunch and dinner menus given out experience during brunch. read more

This is easily the best American food restaurant in Parker. It's more expensive than you'd expect, but it's also arguably the nicest interior of any restaurant in Parker's limited options. When they first opened, the menu had a little more variety and flare with kimchee and more ethnic twists throughout. However, they had to adjust to the palette of Douglas County, and it's now pretty much just a good American restaurant, and that's ok. Businesses need to adjust to survive. One downside is that the restaurant is very loud inside because it's all hard surfaces, so you'll be talking a little louder than normal, and parking can be tough. Otherwise, it's one of those rare spots that's adult friendly with plenty of beers on tap while being kid friendly with high chairs and a kid's menu. If you're looking for a modern place with good American food and you aren't an adventurous eater, West Main is the best choice in Parker. read more

There was an excellent beer selection, and when we went in mid-week for a late lunch, the place was quiet, and the service was attentive and friendly. The space is a rather generic, large, modern taproom/restaurant that will feel familiar to anyone who frequents these types of places. Usually, that would be a knock, but it is in part of the Denver metro that is, on the whole, pretty generic and suburban, so you can't really blame them for fitting in. The menu is classic brew house, burgers, chicken, chile, fish & chips, and some Mexican options. Definitely big enough and has enough options to satisfy a large group or family with picky eaters. Food wise I can only speak for the burgers - they are well executed and made with nice ingredients and lots of different options. read more

The food was not good and our haste to leave after all members of the restaurant turned their attention to cleaning promptly at 9pm was unforseen. Dinner for two after tip ran close to $150. We arrived at 8pm and were greeted with an excessive amount of movement and noise at exactly 9pm when they were closing. To be fair, I would expect this from a counter service restaurant or a less up-scale dining experience, but to average $50/person and have 4 tables seated at closing with food on the table is unacceptable. This was really delicious, very heavy on the crema, so don't consider it a healthy option, but the grilled shrimp were really well flavored 5/5. We used to love this restaurant and probably had been in 20 times over the last few years, but they must have gone under different management or hired a new "chef" as it has gone downhill big time. The food quality has dropped significantly and now the service is not good either. On our most recent visit, they got our order wrong three different ways. When we pointed it out to the server she blamed the chef but we were expecting them to fix it not just blame someone. Will not be back. It's a shame. No one is kidding when they say this place is pricy, I can't remark about the service during dinner as we just did take out. 3 orders of the Short Rib Ravioli and 2 Burgers. The portion of Rivoli was rather small. I think there were 5. They were tasty and covered in a mushroom sauce of some sort. They came in a smallish foil container. The burgers were service make it when you get home style. Was a large foil catering container. Everything was laid out as to not get soggy by the time you reached your destination. Unfortunately, while they might keep the bun from getting soggy, it kills the fries. While the burger was good, it was in my opinion nothing spectacular. The dining in experience may be different as things would be right out of the kitchen. This particular evening was packed. Not sure I will return as there are plenty of options in town. read more

In my recent visit, I asked the server about two main course options, and he recommended the fish and chips (fries). The fish tasted very good, but the cooking method was problematic. Most consumers prefer fried fish that can be eaten hand-held. As the tartar sauce was served in a cup, obviously designed for dipping, it would appear the restaurant intended this dish to be served in this manner. However, the cooking was off. The batter the fish was dipped in before deep-frying was too thin, so each piece fell apart when picked up. I tried to eat the fish with a fork, but since it was so flaky, the experience was frustrating. I regretted my choice of an entrée, and I would recommend that any other customer either ask for better attention to this aspect of the fish dish, or choose another entrée. read more

We came here for brunch one Sunday. They do have a specific brunch menu so you can't get anything off another menu at same time so just take note. Some places offer both menus during brunch but not west main. I hear that the fencing has since been removed but wow, we almost went back to the car and left bevaude we struggled to figure out how to safely find the front door of this place. We had to crawl through very narrow fencing and over icy sidewalk to get in. In the end, it was worth it but hopefully don't have to do that anymore. They had a pretty large drink menu including beers and cocktails. We got the fish and chips and the biscuit pot pie. Biscuit pot pie was absolutely amazing. I'd go back and get just that and some drinks every weekend if I wanted to gain 100 pounds. GET THIS AT BRUNCH. Dang it was so good.
