Never been to a Culver's and probably won't go back. Rude staff & long waits. We physically feel ill after what I can only describe a fried fish like substance. I have to presume that Wisconsin'ers don't have much of a palate since this is so popular and started there. This was my second time at Culver's, but in a different state. The people working there were so polite upon entrance they suggested I try the strawberry frozen custard and it did not disappoint. Additionally this is one of the largest Culvers' location . They had elevated seating upstairs. Overall good experience. I didn't know they made more than sweet treats. read more

Think I was luck to come here on a Friday around 1130AM no line.. almost thought it was closed. First time at Culver's and wanted to try a few things but missed the frozen custard.. next time I guess. Got a Culver's deluxe meal and the cod sandwich. Started with the cod sandwich and it was great. Large piece of fish, flaky and really tender. Would order again and again. The deluxe burger was next. Service here was fast, polite and courteous. After I ordered my butter burger, it was served up quick and brought to my table in a prompt and efficient manner. The burger it self had that fresh off the grill taste that reminded me of the small town burger shop that I grew up loving. Don't go to this Culver's. Last week they messed up my burger and forgot an entire patty. I called to let them know and the lady on the phone offered to send me a coupon for a new one as a burger meal combo I said, thank you and waited for the coupon to arrive. I took the coupon in today and tried to redeem it only to be told it was only for a burger and not the meal I was told the coupon was for. To add to the slap in the face it wasn't even for the burger I had ordered. I explained this to the staff in person, and they all stared at me and told me there was nothing they could do. The atmosphere, how clean everything is, the outdoor seating, the beautiful portraits on the wall makes everything feel so authentic! The special Culver Rootbeer! Everything is just wonderfully amazing! The meat on the burger seasoned to perfection! Absolutely, hands down, the WORST employees I have EVER encountered at a restaurant. Bunch of young punks full of attitude. All of them rolling their eyes because I ordered a cup of coffee and none of them knew how to make it. They had to get some female in a bad mood to make it. I've been here a few times but have always eaten inside. This time I thought I could just go through the drive thru and be on my way. I understand they make everything when you order it, but at 7:15 pm on a weeknight how hard is it to make a burger and fries? After waiting almost 20 minutes in their waiting area and seeing 8-9 cars get there orders and leave, we finally flagged down an employee. She went to check and found that our order never got to the kitchen. She came back to ask if we wanted them to still make it. At this point I was famished and didn't want to start over so we waited another 8 minutes for the order. The young lady who finally helped us, Gabby, was very apologetic and it definitely wasn't her fault. But there is some kind of disconnect in their system if an order doesn't go 3 feet from the cashier to the cooks. Craving the cheese curds and I was hungry... They fixed my hunger. The cheese curds were hot the fries were hot. The staff got our family of 9 order out fast and accurate. I waited over ten minutes for what they said would be fresh. My order (build your own) had mayo and onions which i did not order. The receipt was correct. The food was not. How hard is it to make a sandwich according to the receipt? They said they were very busy and had other customers. I waited for the 2nd burger. It was also incorrect.
