I m gonna increase to 5 in comparison to all of the other fast food chains. thanks Curvers for employing young people in the service industry because we all need to learn to be respective and aware of butt heads and assholes who come to whine at you. I was surprised to see so many options to choose from. its perfect alternative to McDonald or Burger King. Actually, last time I stepped into above... hmmm. came for the butter burger but to my surprise, I didn't see the difference. I still don't know what butter burger is. what is it? maybe the butter flavor of the burger? ended up getting the fish combo and burger to share and fries were similar to the Wendy's while back, tartar sauce was good, butter packet was joke. why? it was frozen and had such small amount, you may miss it accidently. overall, I wouldn't mind trying the onion rings (probably like Burger King type?) and the milkshakes. Being a lover of all things Wisconsin, I was thrilled to hear that the newest location of this Midwestern chain was due to open just down the road from the hubs office and not too far away from out bowling league! It's become my newest fast food obsession. Here's why: STAR 1 = The building is brand spanking new, features modern touches inside and multiple drive thru's outside, making the space perfect for the large crowds it attracts! STAR 2 = Butter burgers, cheese curds and chocolate custard, oh my! I'm a sucker for the gooey, perfectly fried curds, and their full, flavorful burgers! Since the opening of this Culver's my hubby bear and I have been here twice (yes, twice in one week). Being Wisconsin Natives we were thrilled that a Culver's had opened so close to us! Being opening night, it was super busy and everyone was there. The cashiers were obviously very green and still in training but they were very friendly and helpful. There were a few hiccups with our orders, which is to be expected. For example, my hubby bear got fries instead of cheese curds and they didn't ask me if I wanted anything on my burger. The food still tasted great and was fresh! I know the staff will iron out the wrinkles and be able to provide super duper service! I wish they had put in two soda machines on the sides of the building. Having them in the middle seems a bit strange and congests the order line, people entering and people trying to get some soda. I haven't seen a Culver's set up this way but this is a much larger store than I've seen (even in WI). Obviously we'll be back! I'm saving my Scoopy coups to get a Culver's dog! read more

I listened very well and what was repeated was not my order. Then the same manager tried to act like I wasn't going to pay for my extra item. The ONLY person that was helpful was Jeremiah. The restaurant feels super clean which makes me want to come back simply because of that. With my limited experience here I can't comment much on the food other than to say it's been pretty good both times I've been (burger and fries). It's a tradition now whenever we're in Colorado. We HAVE to get Culver's. Chicken tenders are delicious. The onion rings and the fries order are huge. The butter burgers are thin and small but they are tasty, especially that bun! I can't leave without getting cheese curds, but just a heads up... it is plenty. LOL. The frozen custard is to die for. When you first walk in, you have to navigate through the dining area to the cashier. The ordering line can be kind of chaotic because there are customers wandering around confused. The cashiers are sometimes at the registers or also walking around away from the registers. They don't greet you so you don't know if they are ready to take your order or delivering food to tables. You have to ask others if they are in line and then walk up and wait to get noticed. After you order, you get a "order number tent" for your table but do not get any further instructions. Do you wait for your food? Do you go find a seat? I think that's why all the confused customers are hanging out by the registers. The drink station was clean. The straws and lids are neatly stored. The sauce station was also clean and organized. Seating is great! There are a so many seating options. There are tables and booths for 1, 2, 4+. There is also outdoor seating. Tables were pretty clean for the lunch rush. Food came out a little slow but at least you get to sit and surf your phone while you wait. The food came out hot and put together with more care than other fast food joints. My burger was nicely seared and tasted fine. The fries come in a small paper bag. They were at a good temperature and good portion size. I also tried the cheese curds. They weren't as good as I remember and can't recommend them. My comparison is to state fair style curds so I wasn't satisfied. The frozen custard was delicious. The consistency was thick and creamy. The toppings were plentiful. It's not like the bland watery stuff you get from other fast food places. The food, location, cleanliness were all great. The staff could be trained a little better for customer service. I had been to the Parker one (for custard only) & remembered liking it, so I was pretty excited that this new one opened right by my work. I went there today to get some more custard, & was really disappointed. First, we walked in & it smelled like stale frying oil & old hamburgers. Not settling. Second, it took like 7 minutes to get our ice cream, when that was the only thing we ordered. It was also not very crowded at the time we ordered, so not sure why the wait was so long. Third, I saw an employee drop an ice cream cup on the floor while we were waiting & rather than getting a new one, he continued to fill up the cup... gross. And fourth I ordered the mint chocolate chip custard with Oreo's, & it looked like they threw half a bottle of food coloring into the top only as the rest of it wasn't blended. This is what I was given as a medium hot fudge sundae with chocolate ice cream add brownies. I hate cones and immediately knew it was wrong. It is the wrong size, not in one cup, and pieces on the side (that then weren't even hot). Oh and upon the receipt i got charged extra because they itemized out the order. I re-asked for my order and the assistant manager came out and said "it depends on who is making the custard that day, you have all the pieces." No other input was received. I had never heard of Culvers before moving here. They seem like a step above your typical fast food joint as they have a nice seating area and they keep the restaurant fairly clean. They also have a couple options that you wouldn't find on a fast food menu such as Wisconsin fried cheese curds and frozen custard. However being the first time here we decided to play it safe. My boyfriend and I ordered burgers with sides and a drink. My burger was the double bacon cheese burger and his was the mushroom swiss. I had a side of onion rings as well. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it only took about 10 mins to get our food so the wait time for me was not bad at all. The onion rings were delicious...fried crispy brown and actual batter not the bread crumb batter. The burger was flavorful but they forgot to put the bacon on my "bacon" burger which is a cardinal sin in my book, which gives them -1 star. Overall not bad and would love to come back and try the cheese curds and frozen custard. read more

Pretty good burgers for fast food. Buttery tasting buns and really good fries. The patties are thin. So if you like it meaty, i suggest to order a double patty. My husband was thoroughly impressed because it actually filled him up. They have a huge menu. From burgers to chicken sandwiches and fish items. The staff constantly checks on the customers just as if it was a restaurant. I can not wait to try their ice cream menu. You can buy little pints of ice cream to take home. The staff were waiting for her to get out of the way so they could do their jobs, but she was in the way, trying to do everything herself, and poorly. They was no organization, no leadership, and the drive thru lines were 20 cars deep. She was wearing her mask around her chin, barking incomprehensible orders and asking for temps when the kitchen was just trying to get orders out. I was overall disappointed in the food and service was just okay. we had pot roast with potatoes and broccoli. the broccoli was from a frozen bag and mine was cold. They did warm up a new serving for me but sadly if I'm paying $3 for a side I expect it to be fresh and delicious. The potatoes were just ok and the pot roast was just small portion of meat. I will say that I was genuinely shocked! The burgers were GREAT! Juicy, smashed, beautifully seasoned goodness. I had fries as my side. They were "ok". Could have been a bit crisper but I'll remember that next time. I asked for a side of cheese sauce to dip my fries in and found it completely unnecessary. It was just melted cheese. Tried the "Culvers Rootbeer". It was just root beer. Nothing special. The restaurant itself was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We will come again! read more

Custard was silky and the taste was still great so I enjoyed it. YUMMY FOOD!!!! The food at Culver's is top notch for a burger place. The price for the quality of food you get is world-class! My family has been going to this location 3-4 times a month since it's been open...in fact I was there twice just in the last week...lol... The staff is either extremely helpful....or their completely oblivious to what is happening. We have a family of 6 with two kids under the age of 2 years....the staff at times really goes out of it's way to make sure we get the help we need to get our food and drinks to our table, get us napkins if they see we might need some, bring over crayons and coloring book paper for the kids, bring over wet-wipes for our kids hands and faces.....even if we don't ask. Then at other times the staff can be completely oblivious to what's going on with your custard orders. Many times we've brought our "FREE" kids custard coupon up that comes with the kids food.....and we'll have to wait a good 20+ mins to get our custards....we know the staff is letting it fall through the cracks because other times we get our custard within 2-3 mins.....so the fact that we have to wait at times 20+ mins means no one is following our order back behind the counter. Now....all of that said, things have been getting better because we brought the issue up to the owner via email....and ever since it's been really good. So maybe it's not even worth mentioning the 20+ min wait thing.....but I do because it went on for so long and happened so many times. But this location rocks! And Culver's is SOOOOO YUMMY! I like Culvers. Their Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Crinkle Cut Fries puts the Burger King Crispy Chicken Sammy to shame. You get so much more chicken and much better quality. Their Chicken Tenders are way better than Chick-Fil-A and the Walleye Fish Sammy is also pretty good and not too greasy. Their custard is amazing and the Concrete Mixer blows away the DQ Blizzard. Customer service is also usually pretty good. I did have one bad experience here in the dozen or so times I have been here since this location opened. I'd chock it up to an off-night but when I filled out the online customer satisfaction survey with my contact info and requested a call back from management NO ONE from Culvers either corporate office or store management bothered to reach out to me so that's kind of disappointing. A word of advice though, you probably shouldn't eat here on Friday nights as the little leaguers from across the street come here and I made the mistake of waiting 20 minutes in line to order and another 25 minutes for my food to come. They were nice enough to offer complimentary samples of Rocky Road custard to the people waiting in line so that was nice of them. read more

If you know me, you know I'm a fan of Culver's. I've been calling for a Tech Center Culver's since I moved here, and finally - it's here!!! Been here a few times, and the food has always been spot on Culver's. Love their mushroom swiss burger (that crisp crust and butter is delish), and the wife likes their juicy crispy chicken sandwich with their honey mustard. Service has been really friendly. Still new, so much of the staff is still getting the hang of it, but doing it with a smile. Can't give more than 3 stars though, as the drive-thru is an absolute cluster during busy times. Actually, probably at anytime. Slow, and nowhere near enough capacity for cars to wait. I've been in a double, side-by-side waiting line before. Just go inside. Speaking of inside, it's a bit closed off when you walk in. Probably a result of moving into an existing building, but it feels very cramped inside. You do feel more private when seated though. Despite the drive-thru and atmosphere, I'm stoked my WI friend has finally set foot in the DTC. We're going to get to know each other real well. Just not while I'm in my car... read more
