Drink & Peanuts

Five Guys is one of those places you hear about from EVERYONE. All I heard was how awesome it was for what seemed like forever. Everyday on the way home from work it taunted me when I passed it to come on in and try it. So today, before catching a flick with my hubby, we stopped in for a couple burgers and some fries. I like that the menu is short and sweet (or savory in this case). And the fact that they have big boxes of in the shell peanuts for you to snack on while you are waiting on your order is a nice touch. It is counter service and the seating area reflects that - tables and chairs with a refill station and condiment station - well ketchup. When they call your number you go and pick up a big brown bag with grease soaking through it. I am not complaining :) I like a greasy burger! So I am ready to be impressed. We opened the bag to see a bag FULL of fries. We got 2 orders of reg. fries (which is a little cup), but they fill the bag with fries. Seriously. Tons!! The burgers are wrapped up in foil and when you open them up you are greeted with a two patties of meat, 2 slices of cheese, whatever toppings you chose (jalapenos, onions, tomato in my case) and a white bun. I couldn't wait for the first bite, and after sinking my teeth - eh, good. Not great, not the best, but a solid burger. The fries were next - these are probably the best part. Fresh cut fries with just a bit of salt. Simple, salty, beauty. For the convenience and value, Five Guys is a solid deal. I suppose it was just built up too big to meet my overblown expectations. Still I plan to go back and try it again. I can hear those fries calling my name!

Bacon (double) cheeseburger with mushrooms

Best burger I've had in Denver so far! As long as you remember that you are in a BURGER JOINT, theirs are pretty tasty. I had the bacon cheeseburger, which is actually a double. They cook it to order, so it might take a little while to get your grub, depending on how long the line is. The fresh cut fries are pretty good - huge portions! Tasty! The have a long list of free toppings, including grilled mushrooms! Most places would either have some sort of shroom burger or charge extra for that. Kudos for the toppings! I got the grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce and mayo. The toppings were falling off when I opened the foil wrapped handful of cheesy, bacon-ey goodness. Tasty! Not quite In 'n Out, but did I mention - Tasty!

Their burgers are awesome, the fries are the best and it is a fun place. You can count on a good lunch for a reasonable price.

I quit going. Who knows if they are open or not. They don't seem commuted to running a business.

A single (junior) cheeseburger is like $4 and the fries are less than $3 and it serves 2-3, can't be that!

As a counter service restaurant I generally don't expect much in the way of service but Snarf's is exceptionally bad. The music was so loud that I couldn't understand the young lady taking my order, and she looked and acted like she couldn't be bothered to care. Beyond the wait time (which I don't mind for a fresh toasted sub) when my food was ready they just set it on the counter. No bag, no calling my name, just an assumption that someone would come claim the food. (I was not the only person in the restaurant) The prices are absurd. You legitimately can go to Chili's or Applebees for the same price and get a much more filling meal. The food, I will give is in the top tier of sandwich places. Well ahead of subway or Jimmy John's, but not quite as good as Firehouse. TL:DR - worth a stop if you're close, and want to blow sit down restaurant money on a sandwich. Not worth driving out of your way for.

Ordering the combo felt like I didn't get my money's worth here. The seating area is pretty small, so good for couples and families but not large groups. Also noted that this location shares a lot with neighboring businesses (FuNuGyz) and there isn't an ADA accessible parking spot up front.

First off the service is absolutely impeccable. The lady that helped us out at first was so kind and patient. Usually at stand up to order places I feel rushed but not here. The kindness is felt in the AIR. We ordered The Romanos meatball and it was the BEST MEATBALL SANDWICH I've ever had in my LIFE and my partner agreed. It was everything you want in a sandwich. The meatballs are HUGE and the bread is soft, the cheese is SO cheesy. I wasn't that hungry and we ordered 1 sandwich thinking I would have a few bites but I ended eating a whole half lol I was THAT good! So my partner ordered another sandwich. They were out of the one he wanted so you know were already planning a trip back! Like tomorrow FR lols The gentleman that helped my partner out for round 2 was also very nice, friendly and generous. I promise- walking in the atmosphere felt very warm, clean, cozy, and welcoming. There was also a customer that couldn't stop making phone calls and talking about HIS sandwich and how good this place is and we could not agree more. I cannot stress this enough, this is my new favorite place.

The bread to meat ratio was completely off, I wish I had a picture but you got almost 3x bread compared to the sandwich insides. The wedding soup was so lack luster - no flavor whatsoever. Meat was clearly pressed and frozen and the noodles overcooked to mush. If that wasnt enough to keep us from going back, the breakfast was. Pictured is the $10 breakfast burrito. Has microwaved everything in it. We watched the guy put everything in a bowl, microwave, slap it on a tortilla and microwave again. Nothing was fresh, nothing was even semi-homemade about it. I am incredibly disappointed to have wasted away money on something like this but I guess you don't know if you don't try.

This one's got a cozy, small-town vibe, tucked between other shops with plenty of seating both inside and outside. From the second I walked in, I was greeted with big smiles and a friendly "Welcome in!" The staff here are genuinely nice and make you feel at home. Of course, I had to get my go-to: The Bronx Bomber: pastrami, egg salad, spicy mustard, Cajun sauce(my add on always) on both sides, pumpernickel bread, lettuce, tomato, and thin-sliced red onion. Absolute perfection. This sandwich always slaps. My coworkers saw it and immediately asked, "Where did you get that?" Told them straight up -- Mainstreet Parker, Heidi's got another location. Every bite takes me back to the NYC delis I grew up with and miss dearly. If you're craving a legit New York-style deli sandwich with flavor that hits every time (and comes with potato salad or chips), this is the spot. A must-try; and trust me, once you do, you'll keep coming back!

They used to be my favorite sandwich shop hands-down, but it's obviously changed since they've expanded. The turkey didn't seem like it was roast turkey that was shredded anymore. It tasted and felt like something out of a can. There was a smell to the stuffing that I couldn't swallow. I literally had it throw it in the trash. It felt like there's no heart in it. It's just really disappointing because they were my all-time favorite shop when I lived in Vegas. I mean they're far away from my house so I think I had to pay an extra $10 an Uber eats delivery fees, and I didn't need a single bite. It was beyond bad. It was gross like it felt like there was something spoiled in it. This is not an issue of a bad order, but an issue of something that tasted like it was going to make me sick. Sadly, I will never be visiting in Capriotti's again. I wish I could get a refund. It was truly vile, whatever was in there. And I'm not a normal reviewer. First visit to this location. And I hadn't had Capriotti's in a looooong time. They have FRIES now! Woohoo! They're FLAT. Which is interesting. Capriotti's doesn't have gluten-free bread. The nice lady said that they're working on it. She offered me a choice of a cup or lettuce. I decided on the cup. And ordered fries because no carbs from bread. Win-win! She also gave me a small discount, because I wasn't getting bread. That was so nice! I decided to try the Impossible cheesesteak. Oooh. It needed more cheese, but I got mushrooms, onions, and sweet peppers. It was served in a cup. I have to admit, that was pretty funny. I doused everything with Cholula. Yum!!! I ordered a medium, and couldn't finish it. I have gluten-free baguettes and wraps at home, so that's why I got a medium instead of a small. Did finish all the fries. While they aren't my favorite, they were good. I really prefer greasy, crispy crinkle fries. But these weren't dry. Just lacked real flavor. It's a nice, clean space, much like Highlands Ranch. It's right next to Carrera's, near Pinterest. I hope that they do add a gluten-free option soon! Eating a cheesesteak from a cup just wasn't the same, lol.
