I personally love this place. Their cajun fries are oh-so-good!! They give you so many; it's like another order at the bottom of the bag. The only thing that bothers me is I wish they would toast the bun a little and I hate the way they chop up the onions (I like my onions in rings). Greasy burgers are supposed to have tremendous taste, right?? So what happened to the flavor of my burger at Five Guys? I'm not sure how you can have so much "fat" and so little flavor, but they managed. The fries are fresh, but the oil was not. The fries are soggy and somewhat unappetizing. Then there is the price. OMG! Who wants to pay almost $8.00 for a burger with no flavor? While they have an impressive list of condiments, which are all free, they don't add much flavor to the overall experience, they just add moisture, which makes the bun completely soggy! The condiments SHOULD be free, since you are paying WAY too much money for a sub par burger experience. If you want a greasy, flavorful burger for a little less money, make the trip to Fat Burger. You won't be disappointed. You can get a meal deal at Fat Burger, and you cannot at Five Guys. I really don't understand the draw. I wont be back. read more

Wow, I'm impressed that they managed to screw up so throughly, completely, and aggressively. My order was 2 burgers, 1 fries, 1 milkshake, one regular fountain drink. The only thing kinda correct was the drink. It take 100% effort to take orders for 2 separate burgers, with only 1 condiment in common, and butcher it so badly as to make both burgers inedible. How they managed to get half the toppings from each burger onto the wrong one is beyond me. Yet they put toppings I didn't order- because I hate them - on my burger, and the same for my wife's burger. I've always thought five guys was generous with fries, but an order of regular fries that usually comes in a cup with overflowing fries on the side didn't even fill the cup. There were about 15 total fries. They completely forgot to give me my milkshake. Literally the only thing correct was a cardboard cup that I get to fill myself, yet even that started leaking through the seam on the way home and I had to pour it into a glass. Their solution was that I drive back in, through a rainstorm, and walk back into their store during a deadly outbreak, so I can get the refund I deserve. This was our chance of a rare meal out of the house due to social distancing, and they can't do the right thing. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. read more

I have had five guys burgers I think 3 times now. Not a bad burger and a good concept, but lets be honest it's awesome compared to McDonald's, but it's not that great for the price. Everything is a la carte and that's why the price jumps up quickly. Add fries and a drink and you could be at $10 for 1 person. The fries are good. They are made with freshly cut potatoes so be prepared for that less crunch style (I like both, but I know some people don't care for the fresh style). I am not saying it is bad by any means, I just don't get how some places get these crazy hypes like chic'fil'a, in'N'Out (too small of patties, this place is better but also more expensive), chipotle, wood fired pizza oven (just cuz it is cooked in a woodfired oven doesn't automatically make the pizza amazing), etc... I always pass this place on my way home... I figured I'd give it a shot! Glad I did. That's a good cheeseburger. There isn't too much to the menu either. I guess it's better that way. The regular burger was way too big for me. Next time I will get the mini-burger. They have all the basic fixings and a little extra. Cooked prefect. The fries were pretty good too. They have tons of potato sacks sitting in the front stacked right on top of each other. SO you can tell that they are freshly made and not frozen. They were pretty darn good. Okay, the very first thing one needs to know about this place is, if you order a regular burger, you're getting TWO patties. If you just want one patty, it's a junior burger. Having said that, let me tell you why I'm a fan of this place. When you walk into the joint, you immediately notice the sacks of potatoes and extra oil and stuff stacked off to the side like the builders didn't add a storeroom to the blueprint and a place to put all the extra stuff was an afterthought. I think this is to show the customer that the stuff they say they use is truly what they use--peanut oil for frying and potatoes from some potato state. There is also a littering of peanut shells on the floor, as they offer free peanuts to gnaw on while you wait. This place truly is about the burger, as there isn't much else on the menu besides burgers (they also serve hot dogs, veggie sandwiches, and grilled cheese, I think)--no shakes, no chili. It's about the burger. I do love that some of the stuff you'd have to pay extra for at other places--mushrooms, jalapenos, green peppers, grilled onions, A-1 sauce, etc.--are all standard and FREE condiment/veggie options. I got the bacon cheeseburger, and it was so big, I couldn't open my mouth wide enough to take a commanding bite. I wasn't deterred, though, and did a number on that burger!! I ordered fries, and they filled the cup to the brim and threw in extra in the bag, so you only need to order a regular size fries and it should easily accommodate two people. Both times my burger was juicy and pretty darn good. It was reminiscent of a homemade burger to me. It's definitely worth the $ you'll pay. read more

This is my number one burger and fry shop EVER!!!! I found out about Five Guys when I was living back east and practically cried in enjoyment the first time that I discovered there was one in Denver. (I had been out here for 3 years at that point, away from my beloved restaurant). The person who was driving the car had trouble driving cause I was jumping up and down and screaming in joy that there was a Five Guys, heh! The fries are INCREDIBLE!!!! Cooked in peanut oil, so no can do for the allergy people. Be careful though, they love to give you TONS!!! Get a small fry and share it with friends, it serves 4 VERY comfortably. Than the burgers, yum yum yum!!!! I love their burgers completely!!! They have the best yummy style soft, kinda soggy bread, which for me is like living back east again. So don't overload with toppings unless you want your bread to give away and be way messy. My dad and me had a saying about this place though.... Messier the better! read more

This Five Guys has great burgers and fries like the other locations I've been too. I've only done take-out here, but I did notice that the dining room seemed much smaller compared to other Five Guys I've been too, but that didn't really bother me. The service I've experienced was fast and friendly. I do think that the fancy Coke machine at the other Five Guys is really cool (lots of combinations of sodas and flavorings), and they don't have that at this location, but I mostly drink water when I'm there anyways. Five Guys is a pretty good fast food lunch alternative to the traditional chains. Their burgers are thick and juicy, made from high quality beef. They tasted like something you might grill at home, which is high praise for fast food. The menu simplicity is much appreciated, sort of an homage to my favorite burger joint that doesn't happen to have any locations in Colorado. I think everyone will have to learn about their unique (i.e. HUGE) potions the hard way. One complaint, no ranch. Who doesn't have ranch? It's like no hot sauce at a Mexican restaurant. I came here late on a random Thursday night, so I had the place pretty much to myself and I had a great experience. The service was awesome - the guy at the register was super welcoming and took the time to explain the menu and what the place was about. For those who don't know, they're the east coast version of In-and-Out. The place was spic and span clean and they had an rockin' classic rock satellite radio station playing. Great atmosphere. My cheeseburger and fries ended up just over $9, so that was a bit on the pricey side for a hybrid fast food / sit-down burger joint. But the burger didn't disappoint, it was hot, juicy, huge, fresh toppings. It did take them 10 minutes to make it which I thought was weird considering there were 4 employees and just me and another customer in the place. The fries were also very good - thick cut fresh cut Idaho fries with the skin still on, my favorite. I ordered the "little" size and ended up getting half a bag full. Sweet. They have an option for you to call ahead or order ahead online, I would suggest this is you're going to be in a hurry. This new location at the corner of Arapahoe and Parker is a welcome addition. Without a decent burger joint in Parker, we've made the 15-minute trip a few times since they have opened. The kids LOVE it, especially the french fries. A word of caution...portions are big here. Also, I'm guessing they start cooking your burger after you order, so it takes 10+ minutes to get it out. You order at the counter and they call your number when it's ready. Make sure to grab lots of napkins because this is a messy burger! read more

Five guys has decent burgers and fries, they are like in and out, the burgers are pretty consistent with a large variety of toppings. The Fries are usually hot and you get plenty with a little for one person or even two. The best part of going to this Five Guys in my opinion is the staff I eat here probably more than most people and have always found the staff to be friendly and it seems they enjoy their jobs. Many people just go thru the motions but they do seems to enjoy working at 5 Guys and making my burgers. I also like that they put the cheese between the patties so I can adjust my burger and it does not get stuck to the bun. read more

My wife and I usually avoid 5 Guys, but only becuase the food is so good we eat too much. Yesterday, we ordered and were waiting for our food. It was then we noticed a couple eating burgers with lettuce as their buns, and we thought it'd be too late to change our order, but we went up and asked. Our regular buns were already dressed and awaiting the burgers. We thought next time we'd order the right way first. A couple minutes later, the manager came to our table, asked if they could change our order to lettuce. When we went to see about the change she was nowhere in sight. Shortly thereafter we were eating the burger in a bit more healthy way. The entire staff were friendly, smiling, and all busy doing something, not just waiting for time to pass. The manager is amazing in that her employees reflected her desire to please the guest. Please visit this location, you'll not be disappointed. The food is 5 stars. The staff is very nice. The music is so loud that I cannot see myself returning here. I could hardly here the "low talker" employee call out my number, nor was I able to have a conversation with my daughter. I do not have the energy to beg the employees to lower the music every time I enter the restaurant. It's easier just to go somewhere else. Everyone has a cell phone and ear buds. If we want to listen to music we can do so privately. I wish I could go back to eat here because the food is so good, but I just cannot do it. And no...I do not want to eat on the outside patio. Love the simplicity, like In and Out, do something and do something well. The toppings options are somewhat overwhelming but after a few visits you start to figure out what you like. I would recommend always ordering the smallest amount of fries possible since they will basically give you twice as much as you order, throwing a scoop into your bag. read more

I've had many issues with this Five Guys location at Cornerstar getting my to-go order right. Spent $27 for 2 burgers and a fries and BOTH burgers were wrong. Pretty good burger although it seems the size of the beef patties have decreased while I am certain the prices have increased, dramatically. $12.50 for a cheese burger, fries and soft drink that is self serve. They are kind enough to give you the cup while you wait for your grease stained sack of burgers and fries. Fries are near the best in the land but back off on the portion size and price. I was there today at lunch time, 12:10 pm and the place was 1/4 full. just walked up and ordered. Bad sign. Watch your price points. Burgers are greasy and just to get fries with that is almost another $4 and you get so many fries its enough for over 2 people. They put the fies in this little cup and then into a bag. The bag got really greasy as the fries in no way can ever fit into that little cup (what were they thinking) Really over priced for what you get. I'd rather go to McDonalds versus going here for the heart attack burger and fries. Oh, just so you don't get caught off guard, there are no MEALs here everything is ala cart.. so get that extra money out of your pocket!! read more

Awesome deal for the money! A single (junior) cheeseburger is like $4 and the fries are less than $3 and it serves 2-3, can't be that! Everything is made fresh and you can tell. Damn. The second ever place to get 5 stars from me. Whoever said the cajun fries sucked and the burger was tasteless, YOU are clearly tasteless. This is one of the better burgers I've ever had, got mine "all the way" with jalapenos. Big burgers, everything is fresh including the jalapenos, everything is cooked to order, they have peanuts to eat while you wait, the staff is VERY friendly, the place is clean, lord of parking, and the cajun fries are AWESOME. This is probably the smallest of all 5 Guys stores I have been to. I usually do take-out from this location. The staff is very friendly and the wait is usually not more than 15 minutes or so. You do have the option of calling in your order before heading over. The burgers are a little greasy, but have lots of flavor. I love all the options they have for toppings. Although I like SmashBurger a lot more than 5 guys, I do drop in occasionally whenever I crave a greasy cheeseburger topped with grilled onions and hot sauce :) read more
