Made reservation for 4:30 pm Friday night using the restaurant website during non business hours. Got the automatic response back stating they will confirm the requested time. Next day, an email arrived and needing to confirm using the Yelp app. 4:30 pm, Friday. We were the 2nd table to arrived. Soon, others followed in. This restaurant use to be the old Einstein Bagle location. Converted very nicely. Going back few months, we walked in hoping for a table and that didn't happen. Now we know. This restaurant has about 10 tables and tried to maximize their space. Bread was offered and arrived promptly. My Moretti which was served on chilled glass. Very nice at $8 Yelp now offeres an ability to point the camera at the menu and photo will follow. Haven't tried it but will next time. Instead of doing this, followed an old fashioned way. Yelpers photo to the rescue! Chicken Marsala $24.50 came out as imagined. Roasted garlic mashed potatoes, mushrooms, spinach, and chicken breast in a marsala sauce. Hot, well prepared and topped with grated parmigiana. Had to add bit of salt but overall, well prepared. Chicken was perfectly cooked with crispy edges but still moist. Had a chance to sample lasagna bolognes $20.75 which I also liked. Web site says "Mama's beef Bolo layered with parmesan and ricotta topped with mozzarella and marinara" Definitely freshly prepared. Cheesy, saucy and not over powering acidic taste Definitely, will be back again.

Cristini that came with the Braised Meatballs was a bit too salty to my liking

I am writing this review with a bit of bitter mixed feelings. To get to the point, one of the dishes I got from this restaurant had a little piece of hair in it. But let me tell you how my whole to-go experience went. Upon arrival to the restaurant (I didn't call in to place an order or anything), this lady immediately walked up to the reception desk and greeted me. I told her I was in for a to-to, she asked me if I had known what I would want. Although I didn't place my order ahead of time, I did browse the menu so I had a pretty good idea as to what I would get me. She then kindly walked me through the menu quickly while I was perusing it. I ended up with what I had in mind: Braised Meatballs and one of the salads (Vegetable.) She told me the meatballs would come with some crostini bread. The prices for both items matched between the menu I browsed earlier and the actual menu she handed me. She then said I could have a seat at one of the tables and offered me a glass of water while I was waiting. Her kind gestures were seen throughout the whole waiting period so I said that the restaurant is/was super cute (indeed it is cute where it was also very clean) to which she said her kind thank you. She was above and beyond. The food didn't take too long (I went here during the off-peak lunch time so I was pretty much the only person at the time of the visit.) Since I settled my tab when I placed my order, I took off immediately after I got my food (I sure was hungry!!) At home, I started my early dinner immediately. I truly enjoyed both dishes (whereas the crostini bread was a bit too salty to my liking, the meatballs were excellently made with the right tender texture with no saltiness and yet they weren't bland at all. The salad (as it was described on the actual menu) had a good amount of grilled zucchini which changed the game for this simple and yet flavorful salad.) And then I noticed a small piece of hair in the salad. Ugh..... I know they didn't mean to put it in there. And it didn't change the taste of it and yet this is not necessarily sanitary. I was a bit disappointed.... The conclusion is that I wasn't super bummed about this to-go experience. The service and the food all checked out. I didn't call the restaurant about the little hair piece I found in the salad as the lady was so pleasant and courteous to me. Although I won't immediately go back here to dine or do a take out soon, I will be sure to give them a chance in the near future. Based on this whole experience, a 3-star review should be fair to them??

I tried C'Amore the first week it opened and was less than impressed. It's been a while so I came back with a group of friends. I can honestly say the best thing about this restaurant is the staff. They are welcoming and friendly and Jenni made us feel right at home. On this visit I tried the crispy chicken sandwich. It was good but fell apart so I had to eat the tomato and avocado separately. The fries were very good - and a huge portion. A couple of the ladies in our group had the calamari and loved it. We also had the grilled veggie sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich. Before our meal, Jenni brought out some bread chunks with oil and that was a tasty start. I think if I go back again stick with the pasta.

Caprese salad with Buratta

Unfortunately this will be a review based on the dish I ate and not my family. As all of their meals looked and seemed to taste spectacular. However I ordered the caprese salad and opted for the burrata upgrade. Mind you this makes the salad $18.50. Honestly this was such a disappointment of a caprese salad. I completely understand that with the Burrata the cheese may not be sliced. But the combo of underripe, tasteless, and gmo laden tomato, sliced thick enough to replace an elderly set of dentures. Mixed with overripe flowering and almost wilting basil was just plain shameful for an Italian restaurant. Other than that the service was great and the other food seemed alright. The sophisticated atmosphere combined with the childish salad is what got me.

My wife is Italian American at heart lol she loves her some oodles and noodles so it was a no brainer to try C' Amore. AMAZING customer service ! It felt like we were the only customers there. The sausage and peppers (A Classic) was cooked to perfection. The noodles were al dente. The only downside was the Caesar and that was only because it didn't have enough dressing. Overall 10/10 highly recommend !

What a lovely place with excellent food & service. We met here for book group and each of us absolutely loved our dishes. The service was excellent. Timing was perfect. I had the most amazing pesto risotto & salmon dish ever. I can't wait to try the other two risotto dishes. See you soon!

Chicken Marsala

5 stars for the entire experience! Locals, this is a must-try! I was visiting the area for business and was craving Italian food. The reviews and the menu looked great so to C'Amore I headed for a dinner for 1. Located in a strip mall, the restaurant is sleek and modern. It was the end of the night so I was lucky to be sat without a reservation. All of the staff were friendly, sadly I don't remember my server's name but she was phenomenal. I decided on the broccoli soup as a starter. So good, but so filling! Very creamy with chunks of broccoli and full of flavor. I ordered the chicken marsala; this is my absolute favorite Italian dish so I ordered it often. I was going to sub noodles for the mashed potatoes, but my server mentioned that the potatoes compliment the dish so well. Well thank goodness that she spoke up-- I couldn't agree more. The dish was honestly one of the best marsalas I've ever eaten. The chicken was thin, the sauce was perfect (a nice balance of sweet and wine) but the garlic potatoes --perfection!! They also made me an order of complimentary bread. I wish I lived in the area because I'd eat here every week, seriously! My favorite part of the night -- the owner had the kitchen make a few dishes and the staff ate together family-style.

First time in C'Amore, and we had a great experience. The food was fantastic! The atmosphere is very relaxed and pleasant. The service was something I would expect for a much more expensive restaurant. Excellent! The little bread balls they served were nice and warm and delicious. I had the Shrimp Scampi, and I usually can't finish a plate, but I didn't leave anything on my plate this time. The portions were very generous. We had desserts, and we all shared and every single one was delicious. Plenty of free parking. I definitely recommend it, and I will be going back and supporting a genuinely family-run restaurant. We will certainly come back to this restaurant!

Demolished tiramisu. Totally yummy.

We lived in Colorado for 18 years and moved out of state over the summer. During our time in Colorado, we were always so pleased by the food prepared and served at C'Amore. Tonight, three months after leaving the state, I had a chance to dine in while visiting family. As always, the calamari was spot on and we enjoyed chicken Parmesan, a calzone and tiramisu. However, I have to add some comments about an event we witnessed tonight, which is a testament to the professionalism of the staff. A couple came in to pick up their take out order. They were informed that the bread wasn't ready. Customers don't pay for bread that is automatically brought out for anyone eating an entree. The couple acted confused. Said the bread wasn't on their receipt and they wanted to be comped a dessert! The staff repeated that the bread is free with meals, so it never appears on receipts and they'd just need to wait until it was done baking. They complained that their food would get cold (waiting 2 minutes for free bread) and that's why they deserved more...like a free dessert. The stupidity and entitlement of these people! The staff never said an unkind word. It occurred to me after witnessing this that most people, if they enjoy a restaurant, just keep giving our business....but we don't normally write reviews. Like, I may be guilty of this. I enjoy something and I write nothing. However, if an experience is perceived as negative, we are quicker to write about it. I just could not believe this couple wanting free dessert or whatever because bread that they didn't pay extra for wasn't ready when they came for their take out order. How do mom and pop businesses even survive when the profit margin is so slim in the current economy? C'Amore is a great local restaurant for a date night or a family outing. Period.

Crispy calamari
Robert K.

Beautiful and professional environment. The calamari and the dipping sauce that came with it was really good. We polished that plate off in seconds. The entrees were your basic comfort food items. Penne was good but I was expecting something more. Maybe a small garlic bread would've paired nicely. My wife got the fettuccine alfredo. It was bland so she had to spice it up. Nothing too serious. The sauce needed a little thickening too. Other than that, we enjoyed our meals and the staff was very kind and courteous. I recommend this place. Ever since The Bent Noodle closed, it's been difficult finding a replacement.

We are so impressed after our first visit…read more Attentive staff! We had menus in our hands just after sitting down. Waitress brought us water quickly and ask about drinks. She asked if we had questions about menu items, answered our questions clearly, told us about the specials and their prices. Appetizer of calamari was perfectly cooked with ample amount provided. Entrees came out in proper time just as we finished the calamari. AND she took our used plates away rather than them sitting around. Chicken entrees were so good but i cant find it on the online menu. A fair portion and a fair price. Waitress came back twice to ask if we needed anything and were happy with our choices. She brought the water pitcher each time as well. When another waitress took away my wife's finished entree plate (after asking if she would like it taken away), both the wife and I smiled at how this is how wait staff should be: helping out other staff's table by Picking up used plates and noting any needs by customers. This place was such a pleasant experience and we look forward to our next visit!

Food solid! Service? Can be polished a bit…read more This experience of mine is based on the takeout/pick up order I placed yesterday. I saw the ratings by others beforehand. Solid (almost) 4.5 star appeared very promising. It was a way to kick start my celebratory mood for Thursday. Before I would consume a lot of turkey and the side, I was in the mood for a good Italian. It had to be some place that I hadn't utilized in the past. So I did a quick search on Yelp like I always do. Cucina Bella was one of the restaurants in said search. Close enough from my home. After placing several items online, it gave me a window of opportunity for 15-16 minutes before it would be ready. After about 25 minutes later my order had been placed I was finally at the restaurant. Before I stepped in, I did my ritual: take some photos of the exterior. My anticipation was growing stronger. Once I was inside I took a few more photos of the interior. It was way past the busy lunch hour; there were only a few to several tables occupied by the diners. Then there appeared a female worker who had this staunch straight face with no warm smile or anything. "Hi, how can I help you?" To which I said, "I am here for my pick up order." having a warm smile on my face. I could easily tell that the one brown bag that was sitting on the bar appeared to be my food. She then asked, "What's the name?" in a blunt voice to which I stated my name. She grabbed the bag and handed it to me with the same cold look on her face with "Have a nice day." LOL! Well, at least she greeted me upon arrival and saw me off wishing me to have a good day so I can easily conclude that she wasn't rude or anything. My frank input though is that her customer service can be a bit polished? As soon as I got to my car and started driving, I was crossing my fingers (in my mind only; don't cross your fingers and drive!! LOL!) that the food was delicious. At least that's the most important thing after all. I had a sigh of relief at home. The meatballs (app), sausage and peppers (app) and the side crostini were all solid dishes. None of them were disappointing in any way. Although the meatballs weren't the best ones I've had (I can think of other similar Italian restaurants in Denver where they make/serve better meatballs), the overall seasonings that they used in them were pleasantly appropriated. Not too salty and yet no blandness was detected. The sausage and peppers were great especially on the crostini; $2.50 for the kind of portion is/was very friendlily priced despite the tough economy. Well, I can give this place a solid 3star based on everything I experienced. And yes, I will definitely consider utilizing them again in the future.

We started with the burrata based on Yelp reviews and they weren't wrong. Super fresh tasting, and the focaccia paired with it perfectly. It's an upcharge but worth it, and you aren't at a place like this to pinch pennies anyways. We both chose the rigatoni, we had a heavy lunch, and it was perfect. The sauce was deep and hearty and the pasta was exactly al dente. We split a strawberry guacamole sorbet and glad we did, it was larger than expected and absolutely delicious. Place has the feel of a modern restaurant, very sleek. My only complaint was that we were seated next to a room with a large group and it was hard to hear each other talk, but nothing to be done about that. Really great place with a highly focused menu that knocks it out of the park. J.Ja

Backed that up with a solid salad, then moved into a homemade pasta with ragù that had no business being that good. Finished with dessert and walked out wondering why we'd even bothered with Utria in the first place. Here is the thing though... sometimes you need a bad experience to land in the right place. SPACE: Located in an outdoor mall area, the space is easy to spot with ample parking. The interior is cozy with dim lighting and oak accents, while offering a variety of seating for parties of all sizes. A spacious outdoor patio is also available - perfect for the summertime! We were seating in the middle of the dining room, which was fine with us. The vibe is def cozy chic, which we found welcoming . SERVICE: I had booked reservations in advance, as Happy Hour here is a major hit. The friendly hostess seated us and our server followed shortly behind her. She was friendly, attentive, provided some good recommendations and was pleasant all around! SIPS: While our friend opted for a glass of wine, my husband stuck with water, while I looked at their mocktail menu. The options are limited, but available for a fun treat. I opted to try the "Little Kiss" which was a mixture of grapefruit, sparkling soda, and cranberry. The flavors were on point for the holiday season and tasted refreshing. I will admit, the glass it came in was a turn off. It was like a normal draft size class, which made me feel like I was about 9 years old. Bummer. Otherwise, there are plenty of options for drinkers alike - beer, wine, cocktails, you name it, they have it! SUSTENANCE: The food!! This spot is known for their rustic Italian and woodfired creations - and the menu is fire. I asked for some bread and oil to start - because that sounded divine. It came out quickly and was a nice intro to the meal. My friend opted for the Pasticcio - aka meatballs, three cheese tortellini, slow braised Bolognese, herby pomodoro, bechamel and parm brulee - which he found to be fantastic! It came with more bread, which was perfect for dipping. My friend got a kick out of the presentation as well - in a cast little iron cauldron! I chose the Seafood Pasta - a special of the night. I'll admit, I was a bit disappointed in my meal - as it was a mixture of squid, shrimp, scallops and other - in a red sauce. Not what I was expecting with seafood, but always down to try new things. The seafood flavor overpowered the dish - which made it hard to finish. I opted not to take it home. My husband noshed on the Brasato - Barolo wine slow braised angus short rip, creamy polenta and gremolata - which was DIVINE. The meat was SO tender, delicious and took on the rich wine flavor, perfect over potatoes! YUM! The pizza stood out to me as well, but considering Cattivella is classy, I opted for other.
