I was craving an Italian sandwich. Called to place an order to pick up and was given the impression that I must go online to place my order, which was annoying. I did it. When I showed up 20 minutes later, the order wasn't ready yet, or even started. That is okay, I was 10 minutes early, but why sit on the order until the last second before making it? The point is, ordering was kinda annoying on a couple of levels. Anyway, it was a beautiful day, so I took a short walk, and my sandwich was ready when I returned. The sandwich was great. You can't go wrong with Brooklyn's finest pizza only once was there's something on my pizza that I did not like, which was pineapple, and to be honest, I did give it a try just because, but it's still not my cup of tea to have pineapple on my pizza I called spoke with the owners they got my information down, and they told me that yes, something like that could possibly happen on accident because of how close they are name wise on the computer pepperoni/pineapple so they gave me credit for another pizza because I've ordered from them for at least two years now and it's always been fresh and delicious you call to place your order and whoever is on the other line answering at Brooklyn's finest. Service when we walked in we were greeted very welcoming, for the ambiance the shop looked clean, it is on the smaller side and right across from Regis Univeristy so I'm sure lunch might be packed. They gave us some suggestions for first time eat we ended up ordering the largest pie they had which was the 18" I believe, this thing is massive. We did a half and half our pizza was half cheese and the other half was pepperoni, mushroom and cream cheese. This is the best pizza in the northside. Stop order cheap pizza and treat yourself to authentic New York style pizza. I have had a chance to chat with the owner a couple times and makes me feel right at home. In the years that I have been coming and only had my order messed up once and they made me a new pizza immediately. I usually get the Bronx bomber or grand central and a salad. Found this place on yelp and it was really good! It is in a strip mall with a liquor store next door and this place is extremely busy! We went on a Monday night and it was packed. I'm sorry to write a poor review. I remember I ordered from these guys many years ago, and didn't think the pizza was very good. So just never ordered again. After so many years- and so many rave reviews, I thought I would give it another try. I ordered the eggplant parm pizza. The last time I had true NY pizza I was in the Times Square subway where there's a pizza to go place some friends recommended. I had the eggplant pizza, and it blew my mind it was so good. So, I'm aware my expectations were not necessarily fair. But I'm honestly confused as to how it was so bland. The sauce didn't have any real flavor. The cheese seemed strangely gluey, and the crust was tough. Add to that - the eggplant was so fried it was like overcooked hard little flavorless squares. Finally found my favorite Denver pizza joint. It's been a while since I've had a good New York pizza, and there's no better way to know than to try a slice of cheese. The crust was thin, chewy and crispy, the sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and there was a perfect amount of cheese. The Stromboli was pretty tasty as well. While this shop is a far drive from home, it is on the way home from the office. Kind of. You order at the register. There's limited seating and you'll find it next to a gas station/convenience store. You can view the different decorations they have on the wall while you wait. I liked the grand central which is double pepperoni. I'd describe it as thin and crunchy. Love the location, the cozy interior, the vast menu, the friendly staff, and of course the PIIIIIZZZZZA. We were absolutely starving on the way home from a hike and seeing that Brooklyn's Finest was on the route home was like a beacon of hope. I placed an order online for a 12 in pizza with pepperoni on half. When we got to the restaurant, we needed to wait a bit longer for the pizza, and it was happy hour, so we did the logical thing and had some beers ($1 off during HH). The pizza was OK but pretty disappointing overall. We both thought the crust was pretty dry and the pizza itself did not have much flavor, almost just tasted like plain crust without anything on top. The pepperonis were fairly mild flavored and greasy. I doused my slices in parmesan and pepper flakes, as did my partner. For the size and quality, I would not pay $16 again for a 12 in pizza from here and left feeling a bit ripped off. I would maybe give regular slices a shot to see if full-size proportions do the trick, but the smaller pizza just did not hit the spot. The staff is super friendly, I am just not the biggest fan of the pizza here! Brooklyn's Finest did save me from a bout of intense hanger, so I do thank the restaurant for that :) read more

This place is gross. Go eat somewhere else. They serve chicken that comes pre-cooked from their vendor and serve it like that. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken, but it was raw. They refused to cook it, insisting it was already cooked, and they couldn't take it back because I had left the premises and returned. How would I know the chicken was raw unless I got home and opened it? I brought it back; they didn't offer to fix it. A fat, gross woman with dirty clothes came out to argue with me instead. So unprofessional. She claimed that she knows 100% it is cooked because it comes pre-cooked from the vendor. Can't get any worse. Stopped by this location actually looking for a CBD shop. I have no idea where the CBD shop was located, but Chad and I opted to order the pizza from Grubhub instead, wanting to hang out elsewhere before getting the pizza. Grubhub actually made it easy to order on the app, and it was going to be a while until our pizza would arrive, so we opted to get a drink nearby while we waited. About a half an hour later, I got a call from the delivery person. Brooklyn's uses their own delivery people instead of Grubhub's, and the driver asked me where he'd like us to leave the pizza. I asked him if he found our place ok, since many drivers hadn't recently, then told him the front door was fine. I also told him that we weren't there, but would be very soon. The driver seemed a little hesitant leaving it there when we weren't home, but did as we asked. Once we returned home, we were depressed to find no pizza waiting for us on the front porch. My first thought was that the driver must've delivered the pizza to a different house, which has happened to us before. I quickly found Brooklyn's and called them to hopefully find out what happened. The employee I spoke to let me know that she had the driver right there, and would ask him about the delivery. The driver promptly sent me a photo of the food on my front porch. I confirmed with the employee that yes, that was my porch... Before I could even say, "My fault I wasn't at home/Someone stole my freaking pizza!" she told me that due to food costs, they couldn't send out more food for free, but they could take half off the pizza (not to mention resend the small salad and extra ranch for free) and send it out as soon as they possibly could. I was blown away by how wonderful a gesture this was since it was in no way their fault that someone stole our pizza while we were away! In a very short period of time (maybe 30 minutes, if that) we had a replacement pizza and salad, plus a large side of ranch dressing. All of the food was amazing! I also learned two valuable lessons... First, don't have food delivered when you aren't home, and secondly, don't get green olives on pizza. They are just too salty a topping, and take over all flavor. At least the ranch was delicious and covered up some of the olive flavor! I will 100% be ordering from Brooklyn's again! In fact, they will most likely be my go to pizza place now. They are a class act!! Thank you SO much to the employees of Brooklyn's for being so fantastic!!!
