16" Cheese Pie, half pepperoni

The pizza scene in Denver drives me nuts. Sometimes (most times) I just want a $3 slice or a ~$20 full-sized, basic pie vs. some $18+ artisan personal pie that leaves me hungry. This is where Pizza Alley saves the day! I ordered a 16" pie for takeout, half with pepperoni, for $20. Was it the best pizza I have ever eaten? No. The crust was solid, but the cheese and sauce didn't have much flavor... But throw some pepperoni on there and who can tell the difference! Fed a couple of hungry adults and leftovers heated up well the next day. Pizza Alley is bare bones and is one of the closest spots I have found to east coast pizza joints. I'll be back!

Look. There's a large handful of local pizza spots in Denver. Tonight, I just wanted to stay in. But I didn't want to order from a chain, but I was also hesitant about ordering pizza from local places that I knew would give me a stomachache from the grease, or would have too much bread for crust. They're all good for meeting up with friends, but for delivery? For delivery fees and waiting...I want the pizza to be well worth it. And sometimes some places make huge ass monsters of a pizzas that are good for parties. Or pizzas that are so tiny that no...that random handful of arugula you tossed on top of it doesn't make up for the fact you made people pay $30 for it. So I picked this place just because my friends have never dragged me here, and it was close enough. I'm glad I did. The pizza was perfect. It wasn't too greasy (good for those texture-sensitive girlies out there), the meat was flavorful and you could actually taste the cheese (be real, sometimes you frickin' don't at some pizza joints) and the sauce was the right amount of punch. And it was the right size for someone single person or if you're sharing with someone else. The bread felt good in my hands and there wasn't too much crust at all. It was an extremely tasty pizza that was satisfying both when it came to texture and flavor. Biting into the pizza was satisfying too. I found my new go-to when I want delivery and I should've tipped more if I knew it'd be this good. Be sure to make this spot your go-to as well!

Pizza Alley is the best New York Style pizza in the Denver Metro area. The unassuming little whole in the wall delivers a powerful punch of yummy pizza. You can buy a slice which is monsterous my big and delicious or buy a whole pie. Their salad is loaded with fresh toppings! The people who work there are very nice. This has been my go-to pizza place for a year and my New York friends are very excited to find a taste of home locally.

Meh. I have been in search of good NY style pizza in Denver and heard that this may be the place. Aside from the murals of NYC in the restaurant, there was not much NY about the food. As a former resident of New York, I remember authentic NY style pizza as having a thin crust with a slightly brown bottom, giving it a little crunch with each bite. The sauce should be the perfect balance of the acidity from the tomato and the salt used for seasoning. My experience here was a bit different. The crust was thick, bready and very greasy (see picture) which made the pizza soggy and chewy. The sauce tasted overly-salted and it just wasn't great. The true test for pizza is how it tastes when cold the next morning. This did not pass the test. While the employees were very sweet and personable, I will go forward and continue my search for good NY style pizza in Denver.

Sooo delicious !! Definitely would come again.

So so delicious !! Would definitely recommend!! I just moved into the neighborhood and can't wait to come back.

Not the same Pizza Alley, just the name. Light on cheese, cracker thin, and the toppings taste cheap.

Marco's really delivers and almost has me feeling like I'm back in Naples - almost. The quality of ingredients is excellent and the pizzas are extremely well made. My personal favorites are: - MARGHERITA BUFALA MOZZARELLA (anytime there's an option for Bufala Mozz DO IT!) - WILLIAMSBURG (the pesto with honey drizzle perfectly offsets the pepperoni - a pie I could eat every day) The Calabrian wings with focaccia are also delicious. Great happy hour and right in the heart of downtown. Service is solid and it's a nice casual, clean atmosphere. Just good food at somewhat reasonable prices.

The wait staff are always so kind, service is always super quick (even when busy), and the authentic Italian vibe is always there. Marco's is known for being the first VPN pizzeria in the state of Colorado. Having eaten pizza all around Italy, I can confirm this makes me feel like I am right back there. The pizza is phenomenal (I highly recommend the bufala margherita pizza), the drinks are delicious, and you can't go wrong with any of the appetizers. Every ingredient tastes super fresh and feels very authentic. This is definitely a spot that I will continue going back to and bringing all my out of town friends to. I cannot recommend it enough.

Actually, this spot is centrally located, on the edge of Uptown and Five Points, right between City Park and the Central Business District. There's also a nice parking lot. I ordered the Supreme with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and kalamata olives. I found it very average. I collected it promptly at the time specified, but the crust was very soggy and too droopy to pick up a slice. The toppings were OK, but nothing special. The amount of tomato sauce was a little light for my taste and it was very bland. The same with the cheese. I had heard good things about this place, but there is far superior pizza to be had in Denver these days. I was not impressed. The area is not well-lighted and it's kind of creepy at night. So is the building. The staff was friendly and they did bring me my takeout box promptly.

It was wonderful! Ordered about 30 minutes in advance, showed up, and our pizza was hot and ready for us. Ordered The Meats. For a more high-end pizza, I was surprised by how reasonable their prices are. And the pizza! So delicious - good amount of meat - great cheese - and tasty crust. Would love to try their pizza again in the future. Will definitely be on our list for our next Denver trip.

For food, their garlic bread was a little charred, but flavorful. The Salsiccia pizza was amazing! Most of the pizzas, thin crust, but then there's some fluff on the edges, unfortunately, I don't have a photo to share, but hopefully you get what I mean. I think the crust could've been a little sturdier for the toppings, but it still tasted amazing. My friend got pasta and loved it, so I don't think you can go wrong here! We ordered garlic bread, a custom pizza with sausage , ravioli with lamb and pasta with arugula pesto and asparagus all to share. The ravioli came first. It was pretty bland even for my 7 yr old. Lamb was slightly dry and bland. The pizza was average, ok. The other pasta never arrived. We waited over 30 min after we had finished dishes before we just had to cancel the order. They said they only have 10 pans for pasta and they had 41 orders...at that point we just wanted to leave plus the lightest pasta was going to be served last. On top of that, the waiter while I was talking took my drink that was 40% full and I was saving it to go with my meal as I wasn't going to order a second cocktail. That was annoying and felt deliberate to try to get us to order more drinks while we waited.
