One of the best pizza places I've been to in Denver! Everything we had was delicious! Staff are super nice. It gets busy so would recommend making a reservation. Cozy inside

Yum! Tavern style (thinnest option) w pepperoni, mushrooms (not enough), and "creamy" spinach that's like a pesto.

I'm a think crust gal and their Tavern style is the thinnest, which is what I ordered, but it doesn't come in a personal/small size like the Detroit style. Bummer kinda. Mostly if you don't want to deal with leftovers. But otherwise, who doesn't love leftover pizza. The Pepperoni was thin, the kind of thin that curls up but I actually liked that. Thin pepperoni is still ok with me! The ends of the crust on this style are crispy! Yay for crispy! The Tavern is cut in triangles. The New York - is like hand tossed. Puffy, more doughy, soft end crust with thin inside slices, cut in triangles. Detroit is the thickest, breadiest and their signature and cut in squares. It's nice to be able to get that personal size in this option. They're a fancier pizza joint with cloth napkins and they feature a beer tap list including some wine.

I am a Blue Pan Stan! On a recent visit, the pizza unfortunately wasn't up to Blue Pan standards, but Giles, the store manager, took care of us! Literally great customer service! I would never have turned my back on them, but now have even more respect! Thanks again Giles and Blue Pan! We are lucky to have you in Denver!

First time visit to this place and boy it did NOT disappoint ! We ordered the Bella Trifecta with Chicago based ceresota flour crust! It was to die for ! We also ordered Detroit style Parma Italia and the Little Rose. They were fantastic! The place was packed so it took a little long to get in and the wait for pizza but it was worth the wait ! Our server was kind and helpful and the atmosphere was fun and casual. This place is all people say it is. Def check them out !

I will blame my wife that we have lived down the street from this place for years, I love pizza, and we haven't actually set foot in here. Only an occasional delivery ask. And she prefers thin crust pizza. Anyway, there are days when A) we search lunch specials in the area and B) when she is in the mood for pizza. This was one of those days where A & B were successful. We loved our experience here, and we were the sole bar sitters that day. We loved the food, the drink, and the whole lunch experience overall. Kaylin (forgive me if spelling is incorrect) was our bartender/server, and she couldn't have been more on point, both with efficiency and welcoming personality. I had an IPA (Techno Tom) and she had some wine. The lunch special is a flashback from 10 years ago in price, and I thought the $10.99 price tag was easily surpassed by a fountain drink, hearty salad, and big slice of pizza. We both had the special slice of the day, the Little Rose, and it was delicious. They didn't have any house hot sauce, but I thought outside of the box and asked for their chili oil, and it was a magnificent add to my slice. Definitely recommend doing that if you prefer spicy things. The salad was way above what I would expect from a lunch special. Very quaint, cool bar seating with a great atmosphere overall. My only small dig is I wish they had a West Coast IPA on tap, but I get it...Detroit place. I definitely recommend this place, and see you there (and it won't be years this time)...

After hearing many of our friends rave about Blue Pan, we finally decided to make the trek into Denver and oh boy, we were NOT disappointed it. They had both Detroit and NY style pizza on the menu and quite a menu of various topping combo! It was so hard to decide. I personally went with half n half of Little Rose and Gold Hill. Little Rose has a drizzle of hot honey which brings the pizza to another level especially if you like a slight sweetness to your savory pizza. However, Gold Hill was my favorite! The balsamic vinegar tied the whole pizza together with the prosciutto and fig preserves. Ambiance was fantastic, has at least one TV on with the football games if thats your thing!

    Vegan pizza!

The pizza is a must have - they have vegan pepperoni and sausage and it's out of this world. Staff is friendly, vibe is right, my fav spot.

    Pizza NY style!!!

Awesome but do not get the Detroit style pizza here. I repeat. Do not get the Detroit style pizza here. Get the NY style. As a NYer I can tell you it's the best you'll find out here. Besides, who ever thought of pizza and said "let's go to Detroit"?????? It's NY people!

Friendly, knowledgeable service. Detroit style pizza is to die for, ambiance is nice, well located within highlands and street parking is readily available. Detroit pizzas are to die for, crust and contrast with cheese and flavor profile are great. This will be my go to place for my fixing. Menu is pretty extensive and has almost too many choices.

Never had Detroit Style Pizza, and personally I am not a big fan of pizza but I came visiting with friends from CA. This was by far the most delicious pizza i've ever had. It was so filling and had a wide variety of pizza choices. Each one was unique to their own taste and our server was the sweetest gal ever! Very downtown core ambience and a cool bathroom. If I come visit Denver again I will for sure eat at Blue Pan again!

One of my dad's favorite pizza place in the neighborhood! Got take out here and it didn't disappoint. Their Detroit pizza was so yummy. I got the little rose and loved the addition of the mikes hot honey. Their menu is pretty large so it was hard to choose which pizza I wanted. I got the greek salad too and loved the freshness of the ingredients. Will definitely come back again!

My partner with the Italian born father said this is the best pizza he's ever had outside of Naples and I just ate my leftovers for breakfast. Great service and ridiculously good pizza!

Ask the Community - Blue Pan Pizza

Is there outdoor seating? And if so, are dogs allowed?

No outdoor seating. When it's a nice day they do roll up the garage windows.

Does this business care about their customers?

Some of the employees & managers do. While there are others there that obviously do not

    Is there a bar?

    Yes

Is this place good for large groups( 15 or so)?

It's pretty small and the seating is kind of cramped, so I wouldn't recommend it for large groups.
