We started with the Caprese appetizer, which was fresh and delicious lightly, garnished with the balsamic glaze that sets the flavor off, not too overpowering. We shared three different pastas - the penne rustica, the shrimp and artichoke, and the pesto tortellini. The rustica was definitely the best, it had such a depth of flavor, and the sauce was a perfect rosé of creamy tomato, with the vegetables helping set off the textures and flavors even more. The other two pastas were good, but I wouldn't prioritize ordering them again, the pesto tortellini was so rich and creamy, but lacked any pesto flavor, which was surprising since it was vivid and green, and so visually appealing. The shrimp and artichoke was good, but didn't allow me, I felt like the artichoke needed more seasoning or something to bring it out a little in the sauce and pasta mix.
