Ordered Door Dash from here based on Yelp reviews. Good, flavorful Italian is hard to find in Denver. We've tried many places in the area and even Yelp isn't always right. We were pleasantly surprised with Ignazio's! The garlic knots are sooo good and the Penne Rustica was flavorful. The arancini is weren't bad but not my favorite. We split this meal so we could give them a careful try but will be back to try more in the future.

Went there for lunch yesterday, what can I say? This place is amazing. The owner Nancy is delight, very personable, enjoys what she's doing. Sophie, the waitress, very knowledgeable and what she didn't know, She was able to find out. No liquor license YET, but they're working on it. You gotta have a glass of wine with your Italian food or beer with your pizza. as you know, liquor license aren't as easy to get. They should have there's some time in July 2026. The bathrooms were so clean. Some of the cleanest I've been in for a restaurant. The pizza we had was amazing. The cheese is real mozzarella, the vegetables were fresh, the crust was amazing light and airy. I can't say enough about the garlic knots, yum yum yum. We were given a sample of the tuscan soup, which was also to die for. Very homemade tasting. Even though it was 75* outside it was still very refreshing. The table next to us had some spaghetti and ravioli's it looked delicious. I talked to the ladies that ordered it, they said it was scrambish. You guys, if you're looking for Italian food, this is it in Lakewood Co, they do catering, school functions, and lots of help in the community. If you get a chance, check em out. I know we'll be back.

Here from out of state visiting, saw positive reviews so called for a take out order. Woman who answered interrupted our call 3 times to talk to customers in the restaurant. Because of this I had to repeat my order several times. When we arrived to pick up the pizza was wrong. To fix they literally put the missing ingredients quickly on the pizza, barely cooking them. The result was big chunks of raw red onion, barely warmed sausage and wilted thick chunky mushrooms on the top of the pizza. The penne rustica was okay, chicken chunks were tough and huge. I placed my order at 8:00, the owner taking credit for "accepting" my order 30minutes before closing time but blaming poor execution for the time of order is not a good excuse.

I found this restaurant on tripadvisor and after seeing reviews here on yelp, I knew I had to try it. Though the interior was small, it was very cozy and the staff were great. The manager was extremely attentive and personal and made it a point to check in at every table. You definitely could sense the passion and care he had for the restaurant. Our waiter came over to help us order, sharing his personal favorites with us and ended up suggestong the Penne rustica and spinach, scallops and artichoke pasta amd also suggested the Calamari and Crab cakes for appetizer. We ended up going with these suggestions and we were not dissapointed in the slightest! The penne was good, but the scallop and artichoke pasta was definitely the favorite of the table! After such a nice culinary experience, we knew we had to try their dessert. We ordered the carrot cake, tiramiso and canolli. Funny enough, everyone at the table each had their own favorite, which is a sign that each dessert was phenomenal! Our friend who was with us and had lived in New York for over a decade even made the comment that this was one of the best canollis she has ever had, a testament to their quality of food and taste. I will definitely be back again!

This place reminded me of my trip to Italy! Sam, treated us like family from the minute we stepped in the door! We also had the honor of meeting Ignazio! What an amazing evening it was! The food is incredible and all homemade! My calzone was the biggest I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot! I love a good calzone and this was the best! My son had gnocchi and homemade meatballs in Alfredo sauce. Also delicious! We had rice balls as an appetizer and this could have been my meal! Also super tasty! We hadn't had enough and ordered a cannoli and a piece of tiramisu! Again, fantastic! This is a must for Italian food lovers! Quaint little restaurant with wonderful ambiance, charming staff and magnificent food! Thank you Sam & Ignazio for a great mother/son date night! It was unforgettable!! Grazie a million times over!

Went in for a late lunch over the weekend, such a cute little place! Service was great, we were seated right away & got our food shortly after ordering. My son got a pizza and wow, it was amazing. The crust was fluffy inside & chewy outside. I had the penne rustica, the sauce was delicious & the dollop of ricotta made it perfect. Oh and of course we got the garlic knots, can't go without those. The owner was there & she came to make sure everything was just as we wanted. Nice touch! We will be back!

I was recently introduced to Ignazio's Kitchen and have been there a couple times in the last month, and have gone with different friends each time. It's a quaint little placed in a Safeway strip mall, which in my experience tend to be some of the best restaurants. The food is amazing, and the service is fast and friendly. We were greeted by the new owner, Nancy, when we walked in, and our server quickly had waters and garlic knots on the table. Thanks to sharing some dishes, so far I've tried the calzone, pizza, pesto tortellini, and lasagna, and all of them were amazing. My friends said their chicken parm was one of the best they have ever had, and another one proclaimed the chicken marsala to be THE best he's had. My teenage children wolfed down their meals and were extremely happy. My daughter has some high standards on lasagna, as her favorite restaurant for lasagna is at the beach in Florida. She is now thrilled she has found her favorite lasagna place in Colorado. We will definitely be back.

Went to Ignazio's with a couple of friends for lunch the other day for the first time and we'll definitely be back! I had no idea this gem was tucked in at the Safeway shopping center. We were greeted by the owner, Nancy, who recently took over ownership the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised with the food and service! I had the penne rustico, which was absolutely delicious. The menu looked wonderful and I had a difficult time deciding what to try. We also decided to splurge on dessert and were so happy we did ... the cannolis and tiramisu were amazing!

Massive bowl of Parmesan cheese placed uncovered on our table.

It looked more like a Chinese restaurant than a pizza joint--red tablecloths, wine glasses, neon signs, a random Christmas tree, and tons of weird little decorations. We legit thought we were in the wrong spot. The menu was labeled as pizza and pasta, but there weren't many options for either. The combos were kind of all over the place--lamb, octopus, pork--so we tried to keep an open mind. But once the food came... yeah, it didn't get better. The pizza dough tasted frozen and was super soggy. The pasta dish was mostly meat with barely any pasta, and the meat wasn't even good. It just wasn't it. Wouldn't go back.

We tried the following this time: Burrata e Pomodori Luxuriously creamy Burrata cheese, complemented by fresh basil, juicy tomatoes, and a drizzle of olive oil. A simple yet divine start. Branzino al Vino Bianco Pan-seared seabass with olives, butter, lemon, black risotto. 10" Margherita Mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, and basil on a perfectly crisp crust--classic simplicity done right. For entrees, I got the mussels and linguine and my husband got the chicken piccata. Every mussel in my dish had meat in it which was nice but I felt like the overall dish was missing something as it was quite acidic tasting.. maybe some cream? The chicken piccata was pretty good, with mushrooms, artichokes, carrots, broccolini, and capers. My husband doesn't really like mushrooms or artichokes so I had a few bites of those and they were tasty. He said the dish reminded him of "old world piccata" and not the modern dish he was expecting of just chicken, capers, and pasta. But he said he did enjoy it. Service was slow and we did hear the next table have some complaints and their bill was comped. We did wait a bit between each course and for the server to appear for the bill. Overall, Odyssey restaurant was ok. The vibe is very cool as it is a converted home.

Zero attention paid to water and drinks that needed replenishing. The manager needs to pay more attention to the level of service and professionalism of the staff, a lot more. This may be why they tack on a mandatory 20% surcharge with a little lecture on the receipt about how it provides a living wage, because I doubt they'd ever get tips at that level with this style of service. Or maybe the service is that way because they don't feel any need to work for a gratuity. Under the circumstances, calling this a "hospitality" charge was just plain tacky. These choices have resulted in harm to the business in its entirety. Their wine list is constantly changing not because of choice, but because their ordered stock is always late or poorly done, and it's noticeable to those who were regular patrons of the restaurant. Let me be clear: I returned to this restaurant as a regular purely because of the frontline staff's amazing team. I've slowly watched the team dwindle entirely due to poor management. It's genuinely disappointing to watch such a strong team of employees be undermined by leadership that refuses to listen, adapt, or take responsibility.
