2nd time here and everything is just so good every time. I tried the cheese garlic bread and it's delicious local bread, loaded with so much gooey cheese and their home made sauce on the side

Chicago style thin crust pepperoni, and Italian sausage was delicious! The service was great, the atmosphere was really relaxing.

The ice cream here is amazing. We flew out for the weekend and wanted to try some local restaurants. So happy we found this place. They make seasonal ice cream. We got Kandy Apple and Pumpkin Spice Oreo. Absolutely delicious! The owners are incredibly kind and personable too. Will return and will definitely recommend. Very cool vibe.

I think pizza is my love language, and John and Jandee got it right. Medium pizza (da north side) and a regular beef, two of us killed it with no leftovers while we sat at the bar and talked with staff. You like tavern style pizza? This is it in Denver. Can't wait to be back for the homemade ice cream.

My family and I had a chance to visit Da Sauce today after highly anticipating the pizza and Italian beef. My husband and I are both natives of Chicago, born and raised south siders (Eastside). Living in Denver for the last few years, we were excited to see an authentic Chicago style restaurant has made it here. We ordered The Northsider with added Giardiniera and two Italian beef sandwiches to go. We took a seat in the back and waited for about an hour. After a while, we highly anticipated leaving to wait in the car due to the selection of music that was played with having our daughter in tow; tons of profanity. When we received the pizza, it did not come in a box or wrapped in foil to keep it warm as us Chicagoans are used to. Just a paper bag that soaked up a bunch of the oil. So when we got home of course the pizza was cold and also sparse on the ingredients covering the full pizza. Maybe one piece of sausage on each square. The sandwiches weren't packed with meat as we anticipated and saw from the reviews. However, after giving the sandwich a try it did have a really good flavor along with the au jus being really seasoned. We did appreciate that. We spent a total of $75.73 for our order that included a medium pizza, 2 sandwiches and 2 sodas. In hopes of better quality, maybe we'll give them another shot and dine in the next time around.

Pizza was amazing. If I lived here, I'd frequent this place monthly, at least. The sauce was amazing and the ratio of cheese, pizza, bread, toppings and sauce was top tier.

Just got charged $10 for this pour of red. I did say something and he poured a couple drops more. I suggest you go off website menu and pour and maybe a measuring cup. I paid 12$ for a wine sample

    "Ram" Bomb Cocktails by Jandee

My group and I randomly walked by this restaurant for a late dinner right after landing in Denver. What drew us in was the Happy Hour & Anniversary deals, and the fact that it was Chicago food (one of our favorite cities!) We walked in around 10pm and it was right after their dinner rush and right before the bar hoppers who wanted a late night snack that came in, so it was quite empty. We didn't expect much, but boy were we surprised! All the food was 10/10 and the service by the owner's wife, Jandee was 10000/10! We ordered Da South Sider pizza, a classic Chicago Dawg, and an Italian Beef. Everything was delicious and the pizza was definitely our favorite. You can definitely tell the food was made with love and came from Chicago. Jandee, the owner's wife and who ran the floor that night, made the most amazing cocktails (that were only $5 each with their special!) She was the absolute best host and even made up a new drink with our group (ask for a Ram bomb if you ever stop by!) We also learned that they do catering and allow events to be hosted there, if anyone is interested in that. Overall a 10/10 experience and will be stopping by again the next time we visit Denver

Tasty pizza, service was friendly, and they went above and beyond to make sure my pizza was hot when I was a little late for pick up.

The pizza was excellent. Good sauce, good toppings and great crust. It was even better cold the next morning.

It always hits the spot and I never get tired of it. It has that classic neighborhood feel where there is usually a line outside, but it is always worth the wait. The Order: Salted Oreo & Price The Salted Oreo is my go-to because it has the perfect sweet and salty balance I love. If I'm not getting that, I'm getting the Lemon Custard. Both are incredible. For a double scoop in a cup, it cost about $8-$9. While they have great vegan and dairy-free options, the Salted Oreo I get is their traditional dairy version. Homemade: One of the reasons it tastes so good is that they make their own ice cream and cones right on-site! You can really taste the difference in the freshness of the scoops and the crunch of the waffle cones. Customer Service: Even when it's packed inside with people ready to order, the staff is very quick and efficient. The customer service is great, which is impressive considering how busy they usually are. Parking: A huge plus for this location is the free street parking, making it an easy and accessible stop compared to other busy areas. Overall Experience: I managed to time my last visit earlier in the day to beat the line, but even when it's busy, the quality is top-tier. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! It's a local gem that truly deserves more hype.

We originally wanted to check it out because the line was literally wrapped around the place (always a good sign), but it moved surprisingly fast. We were definitely overdressed coming from a fine dining dinner, but the server was so kind--he complimented us, asked what we were celebrating, and when I told him it was my birthday, he made it extra special by not charging me for my ice cream and giving us a military discount. Totally unexpected and genuinely appreciated. Now... the ice cream. SO good. We both absolutely devoured ours--rich, creamy, classic perfection. I got a two-scoop waffle cone with lemon custard and (I think) Bordeaux cherry, and I haven't stopped thinking about that lemon custard since. Bright, smooth, and just the right balance of sweet and tangy. Between the quality, the service, and the overall experience, it was 100% worth the wait. Already looking forward to going back.

This tiny, adorable hole-in-the-wall shop is everything you want in a neighborhood ice cream spot -- warm, welcoming, unpretentious, and run by two of the most genuinely lovely women I've ever encountered in the food service industry. From the moment our group of six walked in, we felt like we'd been coming here for years. They were patient, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about every single thing they make. Now let me talk about the ICE CREAM, because wow. Six people, multiple flavors between us, and not one single complaint -- which if you know my family, is basically a miracle. Everything was rich, creamy, and tasted completely homemade in the best possible way. But the thing that absolutely sent me over the edge? BANANA PUDDING. Multiple banana pudding options. I grew up in the South and I have been low-key grieving the lack of banana pudding culture everywhere else I've lived, and here it is -- in Denver, Colorado -- done absolutely right. I may have embarrassed myself slightly. No regrets. This is a Black woman-owned business and these two have built something truly special. It's family-friendly, it's joyful, and it has that rare quality of feeling like a place that was made with real love. If you're anywhere near the museum, you would be genuinely doing yourself a disservice to walk past this place. Go in. Get the banana pudding. Thank me later.
