Let me start wit huh the prosciutto, it was like butter. The garlic crisps that came with it were delish! I could have just had this for dinner alone. The pizza was light and packed with flavor. The place was pushing pizzas put like crazy. Seems like they do a lot of to go orders. They have a good system there. We sat right by the pizza makers so we watched them make the magic happen. Def will be back to try other pie flavors!

The service was great and the ambiance was fun and entertaining. Pizza was very good but could have been cooked a little longer for a crisper crust.

I had never been to the Denver Central Market before and wanted to try it. The pizza at Vero drew my attention. It looked and smelled amazing. I am not typically a pizza person. The person working the register was friendly and helpful. My friend and I decided to split the Salsiccia pizza. It had Italian sausage, shredded mozzarella, tomato sauce, ricotta, chili flakes and topped with Arugula. It looked fantastic. My favorite part was the crust. It was so amazing and heavenly. I wish I could have said the same for the rest of the pizza. I knew it had chili flakes on it and I am okay with a bit of heat, but this pizza was doused in it. I feel like someone must have made a mistake. It was so hot that it was almost uneditable. My friend and I were almost crying from the heat and the spice. It would have been good had it not been so spicy that it was painful.

Vero Italian offers mainly pasta and pizza dishes. We ordered the La Vero pizza, which was pretty decent. It had a garlicky flavor that I really enjoyed. It was also large enough to feed three people. The service was good; food was ready very quickly. You can watch them prepare your pizza and cook it in their pizza oven. Overall, pretty decent place with a great vibe as it shares the space with other food establishments.

The pizzas are amazing!! The best crust I've had in a while. The team is so sweet and friendly, helped with shouting out the fan favorite also personal favorites. The grand market is fun cause there's so many options but you can't go wrong with Vero!!

Friendly server and family owned. We love. Tried their prosciutto with tomatoes. I had to get gluten free crust cause of my intolerance. And let me say it was the best gluten free crust i've ever had. I could've eaten the whole pizza myself if I wasn't full. Tastebuds were satisfied. Everything was balanced perfectly and had a nice fire oven flavor. And the prosciutto wasn't overly salty. Located in the Denver Central Market with plenty of seating for our giant pizza box.

Service was quick and pizza was tasty. Not the best wood fire pizza I've had but pretty darn good. I would come back again if I was in the area.

This is the best pizza in Denver, in my honest opinion. The margherita pizza here, with the fresh Basel, is one of the best pizzas around. Simple, light, and tasty. They do have other dishes like bruschetta. They have a cooler filled with authentic Mexican sodas. You cannot beat this place.

Located inside the central market, you can find this Italian/Spanish pizzeria tucked to the left. Even on a Monday afternoon, this place was busy. We chose a pizza--added Burrata, spaghetti and meatballs and a gnocchi. It's actually my second time back in the city visiting this! The wait staff was friendly and patient when ordering. You get a number, find a table and wait for the food to come out fresh. I loved that it came with silverware including a real plate. I don't know about you, but pizza hits different on a real plate. The area was at a medium voice level, clean, and was a mix of people working, friends chatting and families dining. All in all a great place.

I was immediately drawn in by the interesting toppings on the Bella Pizza and had to try it. While it was good, it needed a sauce because it was pretty dry. I also got an order of Smoked Mozz & Coto PIZZA'CO. They were fantastic. I loved the crispy cheese on the outside. I'd come back and try other pizzas, but I'd make sure to get one with sauce next time.

Crispy, delicious perfection. Visiting from out of town and my husband got the el jefe pizza and it was outstanding. All the flavors blended so well together and was a burst of deliciousness.

i'm an out of towner, but have visited the Denver Central Market twice and both times went to Vero Italian. Both times, I was impressed by the quality of the food and the flavors. They make great dishes with great depth and the staff has always been very nice. The ambiance is pretty much an extension of the Denver Central Market which is a communal area where I can only describe it as kind of an "artisanal food court" experience as everyone gets their food and brings it back to their party. Cool spot for pasta for sure and I'd probably go back next time I'm here.

    Liz C.

I was craving pasta and stopped by Vero and tried their Ricotta Gnocchi. The staff were friendly and I loved the ambiance they had. While waiting for my order, I saw the staff prepping a bunch of fresh meats, cheeses, and veggies which looked so good! I was excited for the food to come out. The gnocchi itself was a bit thicker than what I am used to. However, it tasted homemade and was very chewy. The flavor of the sauce and the chucks of ricotta were a perfect addition to the gnocchi. The portion was a pretty big size - so I was able to take the leftovers home. I'm planning to go back to try the pesto pasta they had!

There are a bunch of different places to check out inside, so everyone can grab exactly what they want and still sit together. Today, I specifically visited Call Your Mother, a Jewish deli, and Izzio Bakery. Atmosphere: Since I went right around the time they opened, the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. It was super laid-back and chill, making it the perfect place to get out of the house for a calm morning. As it gets later into the day and through the weekends, I know it gets very busy, but there is plenty of random seating throughout the hall and even some outdoor spots if you prefer. Parking: Parking is going to be street parking. Make sure you read the signs, but it is usually free. Even when the market is busy, I usually don't have to walk more than a block to get inside. So it is a very convenient location for the RiNo area. Service: The customer service throughout the market is great. At Call Your Mother, the cashier was very sweet, and they even text you when your food is ready. Over at Izzio Bakery, everyone is super kind and helpful while you're looking at their amazing pastry display. Even with a line, you're usually only waiting about 10 to 12 minutes for your items. Food: The food variety here is incredible. I tried the Sun City breakfast bagel sandwich from Call Your Mother and the hot honey was the perfect balance of sweet and spice on a toasted bagel. For a sweet treat, I went to Izzio Bakery for the Dulce de Leche Queen. The pastry case there looks like something out of a movie. The pastry itself was perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicious yellow vanilla cream and cinnamon on the inside. Overall Experience: Overall, I really enjoy coming here and trying new places. It is a fantastic destination for groups or just a solo morning out. Whether you want a savory breakfast bagel sandwich or a beautiful pastry, The Denver Central Market always hits the spot. I'll definitely be back to explore more.

First of all the Bass salad was all lettuce with three sliced canned black olives. Not a whole olive three slices of one olive. Maybe three or four sliver of red onion. There's almost no dressing and it was absolutely bland. I ordered it with shrimp because I'm trying to stay heart healthy. In fact, usually when people order salads they are trying to eat healthy. When my food arrived, the shrimp were on a separate plate literally sitting in a half an inch of butter. They were obviously sautéed or prepared to shrimp scampi. I had to take some napkins to squeeze out the copious amount of butter that was on the shrimp. Not withstanding the unhealthy nature of it, and all the years I've had shrimp on a salad. I have never had something as strange as shrimp scampi as the topping for a salad. My son got the penne, vodka pasta. A dish he orders very regularly from restaurants. Like others have commented, it was very bland. The sauce did not stick. The bread that was included was the most basic uninspiring tasteless bread that could've been provided. For the record, I picked this place against my son's wishes. The ambience and reviews seemed like this was going to be a great restaurant. And while we were waiting for our food, I could not stop raving on the atmosphere and what appeared to be a great kitchen. However, obviously my experience was the polar opposite. With so many great restaurants around I would stay away.

I went on a Friday night with my mom I'd just gotten my hair done and wanted to do something fun, a little fancy, and different from the usual dinner spot. It absolutely delivered. First: parking in RiNo is rough. Plan ahead. My reservation was at 8:30 PM and I arrived almost 45 minutes early just looping the area. Eventually found street parking but give yourself time so you're not stressed walking in. The exterior is beautiful mural artwork, elegant entrance, very polished. Once inside, you're greeted, there's coat check and the entire space feels intimate and elevated without being stuffy. It's romantic but not pretentious. I'd go here for a date, a birthday, or just to treat someone special. We did the three-course prix fixe experience (around $150 per person, 25% gratuity included -- that's required for reservations). It felt worth it for the full experience. Food highlights: * I tried the steak tartare for the first time. raw beef and egg, served in a crispy potato nest. Very outside my comfort zone, but beautifully presented and well executed. * My mom had the grilled octopus and loved it. * For entrées, I ordered the Branzino (10/10) and she had the duck she raved about it. * The risotto was slightly underdone but not enough to ruin the dish. * Dessert was a passionfruit tarte. very tart and tangy (true to its name!). * For my birthday, they surprised us with a vanilla dessert that was honestly incredible. Also worth mentioning: their non-alcoholic options are phenomenal. I had the "Kitten Heels" mocktail (10/10), and their non-alcoholic rosé genuinely tasted like the real thing. As someone who appreciates thoughtful zero-proof options, this stood out. The live music was the star of the night. The performers were incredibly talented! the vocals, the breath control, the instrumentation! it felt immersive. The only thing I'll say is the crowd was a little low-energy. My mom and I were the only ones really moving in our seats, tapping along, enjoying it visibly. I wanted more people to feel it! Overall, this is a beautiful spot for live jazz, elevated dining, and a romantic or celebratory night out. If you love cultural, artsy experiences and live music, this is absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back.

That Marsala dish had almost zero marsala cream which is crazy work if you're gonna call it a Marsala. Breaded chicken added onto any dish w/no seasoning in the breading?! Just odd. Advised cashier who took order one dish we'd like to split & was told "oh yah, we can just get you a spoon for that" instead of simply typing into your POS 'SPLIT' so your guest is not sitting there waiting for new share plates & oh yah, a second go around for kitchen staff to bring a spoon. Work smarter, not harder. What really did it over the top this dining "experience" for me & my family was the male bartender. Let's just sidebar for a moment too--where's the personality & humor in 'hospitality' nowadays?! Apparently, my mums joke about "filling it to the top" went right over this guys head because he decided to be flat out rude to us after dropping apps even going as far as to mock me saying "tHaNk YoU" in a condescending, nasty way & then throwing a serving spoon down...WOAH. The crazy part that's worth writing is I think us humans have forgotten that everyone is struggling with this & that & we are all just trying our best to get by. This used to be my favorite part about working in a restaurant: giving your guest a POSITIVE, UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE to escape life's struggles. Somewhere where you can go & spend your hard earned dollars & FEEL GOOD ABOUT IT but also to forget said struggles of your day or even your life! For entrees, I got the mussels and linguine and my husband got the chicken piccata. Every mussel in my dish had meat in it which was nice but I felt like the overall dish was missing something as it was quite acidic tasting.. maybe some cream? The chicken piccata was pretty good, with mushrooms, artichokes, carrots, broccolini, and capers. My husband doesn't really like mushrooms or artichokes so I had a few bites of those and they were tasty. He said the dish reminded him of "old world piccata" and not the modern dish he was expecting of just chicken, capers, and pasta. But he said he did enjoy it.
