    Rigatoni Buttera

Found this casual Italian spot thanks to Google Maps lol. It was not too far from my hotel so I decided to check it out with my husband. We split the Wagyu Meatballs, Caesar Salad, Rigatoni, and Olive Oil Cake. We were pretty hungry and were happy with the amount of food we had. The Meatballs and Rigatoni were really good and I definitely recommend those! The Olive Oil Cake was more on the interesting side for me. It had candied olives on top which weren't my personal favorite but the cake itself was good. Service was on the slower side the whole night and it felt like our waitress was actively trying to avoid eye contact with us.

This place really surprised me! Stopped by during happy hour after walking sloans and the location is perfect! It was a party of 3 and we got the house salad, meatballs, focaccia and margarita pizza and they were all so delicious! They came out quick and the plates were delicious! We got to sit in their outside area which was also a plus! I totally recommend this place and will be coming back to try their pastas that I heard are great!

Great modern Italian date night spot next to the lake. Small interior but has both bar and table seats, and outdoor seats as well. Friendly service. Food: 1. Focaccia appetizer $9- probably the best I've ever had, with some sort of garlic pesto butter 2. Margherita pizza $19- great, crust was thin enough to be crispy but not so thin that it gets soggy in the middle and droops when you try to hold it 3. Rigatoni bolognese $27- also solid, liked the fresh Parmesan touch Reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is solely price. Pizza and app felt fair but the pasta price seemed too much. Don't think we'd order pasta if we came again. But overall enjoyed the food, very tasty!

We went for happy hour and worked our way through the menu! We were seated quickly at the bar and greeted by 2 friendly servers. We started with a Negroni and aperol spritz and were satisfied. All of the food was delicious and felt upscale without being too fancy- we had the meatballs, Caesar salad and polenta fries and the sauces that accompanied each dish were a highlight! Tiramisu for dessert was perfectly light and fluffy, not too sweet!

I had the loveliest experience here for happy hour this weekend for my friend's birthday! They only serve their happy hour menu during those hours so it is a more limited menu but it had everything we wanted at great prices. We got the Amalfi pie (lemon confit, ricotta and Calabrian chili) for $16 and it was such a unique pie. We also got their anchovy Caesar and wagyu meatballs (with pesto and ricotta) for $9 each and they just have been the best meatballs I have ever had and served with a delicious toast. They also brought my friend a free lemoncello shot for her birthday with a candle which was really sweet The service was that of an upscale restaurant and the restaurant was small but very pretty. Free street parking along the streets

Gusto is next door to their sister restaurant Cholon which I thought was interesting as we were seated on the Cholon restaurant side. Our server was very friendly and helpful in helping us choose wine and food. We started with the burrata with an order of focaccia and waygu beef meatballs. I would 100% recommend the focaccia and burrata, and can go without the meatballs. The burrata was so good and had grapes which made this dish unique! The meatballs were okay, with it being waygu I thought it would be better. We also shared the lasagna, gnocchi, rigatoni, and the amalfi pie. My favorite was the lasagna and the pie. I was not expecting to like the lasagna as much as I did! It's very different from what I'm use to but in a good way! The amalfi pie was so interesting but so flavorful and unique that it was good, I've never had lemons on my pizza but it's a must try! The other pastas were good but the gnocchi was very rich, I was only able to take a couple bites. The rigatoni was okay, the pasta noodle to me was harder than I would like and could have used more flavor. Overall this place was very good!

Love this place! My fav dish the the Amalfi pie, get it every time. If, you haven't been I recommend checking it out. The inside is cute and small with a large patio for the summer. Also has a great happy hour. Connected to Cholon too, same owners, so you can go between the two and get some soup dumplings next door :)

It was good. Previous time I came it was phenomenal. This time the service wasn't as great, unfortunately they were out of one of the dishes we wanted and were very strict with protein add ons. With such limited menu options it would be nice to be able to add chicken, steak or shrimp to a Caesar salad or pasta. Sitting at the bar an hour before closing wasn't as pleasant with the people behind the bar talking about closing and "getting out of here" but maybe that just comes with bar seating. When we ordered we were told not to worry and that our appetizer and main courses would be spaced out but we got served our main about 5 minutes after we received the appetizer while we still weren't finished. Overall the food was good. Lasagna was a bit too lemony and tart for my liking but could be someone else's cup of tea. The rigatoni was good but the pasta was pretty al dente. The meatballs were very good. It felt a bit more like a stop in after work to just get a quick bite and get out rather than the sit in exclusive dining experience I had the last time. For $100 for 2 people I would say it's only worth it if you have a table reserved. Big pro that I have to give them though is they are very responsive on the phone which is nice if you have questions on wait time etc

This place rocks. From the moment we walked in, our server was there, helping us with drinks and making suggestions. Food was amazing, satisfying, beautifully presented and delicious. Started with a perfect Negroni, then moved to focaccia and burrata. The focaccia melts in your mouth and the herb butter, makes it even better. Frito Misto was delicious, crispy, tender and also a great starter. The goat cheese ravioli superb. The highlight for me was the (abundant) sausage Bolognese. Wow. Pizza's are a must try here. The CRUST is the best around. Very good Italian wine selection. Parking is tough in this neighborhood. Can't wait to return.

Wow!!! Super super super happy we found this spot! It's pretty small, has an intimate feel and is a great spot for a date night! It was "fine dining" I would say, but I really appreciated the space our server gave us. He was extremely nice but didn't overstep, offered suggestions and was very quick! We had reservations at 5:15, got there at 5:10 and had time before happy hour ended at 5:30 to order a glass of wine. Our server came back at 5:36 and said "last call for happy hour if you want to put another glass in" this was genuinely the first time I've ever had at a place do that and it was so nice. We were past the "time" for happy hour but he offered us another opportunity to put another glass of wine in! So nice! We got the meatballs, the Gorgonzola gnocchi and the carbonara pizza. The food was paced out and it was amazing. The meatballs were so flavorful and would definitely get them again. The gnocchi was so so so rich and tasty. The pears and walnuts/pecans were a great addition! The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and had an amazing Gorgonzola cheesy sauce. The carbonara pizza is wild! Genuinely haven't had anything like it! The egg yolk was soooo delicious and the crust was so fluffy and delicious! They brought out complimentary limoncello shot that was one of the best I've had!! Will be back for sure!

This newest addition to Chef Lon Symensma gem of a restaurant opened in March of this year and I am a big fan! They serve one of the best lunch. It's cozy and warmly decorated. Simply elegant in a very understated way. Attention to details is evident everywhere. From the white tiles on top of the tables to the plants hanging from the ceiling-it just makes you wanna stay. The staff were amazing. The food was unforgettable and unique. The Prosciutto Pizza Roll was the chefs kiss. Best description was an open-faced calzone loaded with prosciutto ! The Melted Leek Focaccia with Herb Garlic Butter was tdf! The Gusto Caesar Salad with white anchovies is the way I prefer my salad. Lastly, the cocktails were phenomenal! Pasta and bread are made in house. The olive oil cake is Gusto's magnum opus. Paired with the savory leaning and rich with complex flavors Tomato Tomato cocktail... oof. Chef's kiss, especially with those candied olives... I'm still thinking about it all days later. Pasta serving sizes were smaller, but all is well if you split 3 pastas between 2 people. Loved the pesto pasta as well as the corn stuffed dumplings, especially when the sauces were mixed together. From our host to our waiters, service at Gusto was impeccable. Extremely friendly and they were very apologetic about "waits" for our cocktails despite everything coming out very quickly. We made a reservation and sat outside in perfect weather, in view of the sunset on the lake just across the street.

One of my favorite happy hour spots! Things I love: the Aperol spritzes, the pies, the garlic butter with the bread, and the wine. I haven't been for dinner, yet. The service has always been great - kind, knowledgeable, and hospitable. I appreciate the low-lighted, cozy Italian ambiance inside as well. I recommend :-)

There are a bunch of different places to check out inside, so everyone can grab exactly what they want and still sit together. Today, I specifically visited Call Your Mother, a Jewish deli, and Izzio Bakery. Atmosphere: Since I went right around the time they opened, the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. It was super laid-back and chill, making it the perfect place to get out of the house for a calm morning. As it gets later into the day and through the weekends, I know it gets very busy, but there is plenty of random seating throughout the hall and even some outdoor spots if you prefer. Parking: Parking is going to be street parking. Make sure you read the signs, but it is usually free. Even when the market is busy, I usually don't have to walk more than a block to get inside. So it is a very convenient location for the RiNo area. Service: The customer service throughout the market is great. At Call Your Mother, the cashier was very sweet, and they even text you when your food is ready. Over at Izzio Bakery, everyone is super kind and helpful while you're looking at their amazing pastry display. Even with a line, you're usually only waiting about 10 to 12 minutes for your items. Food: The food variety here is incredible. I tried the Sun City breakfast bagel sandwich from Call Your Mother and the hot honey was the perfect balance of sweet and spice on a toasted bagel. For a sweet treat, I went to Izzio Bakery for the Dulce de Leche Queen. The pastry case there looks like something out of a movie. The pastry itself was perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicious yellow vanilla cream and cinnamon on the inside. Overall Experience: Overall, I really enjoy coming here and trying new places. It is a fantastic destination for groups or just a solo morning out. Whether you want a savory breakfast bagel sandwich or a beautiful pastry, The Denver Central Market always hits the spot. I'll definitely be back to explore more.

First of all the Bass salad was all lettuce with three sliced canned black olives. Not a whole olive three slices of one olive. Maybe three or four sliver of red onion. There's almost no dressing and it was absolutely bland. I ordered it with shrimp because I'm trying to stay heart healthy. In fact, usually when people order salads they are trying to eat healthy. When my food arrived, the shrimp were on a separate plate literally sitting in a half an inch of butter. They were obviously sautéed or prepared to shrimp scampi. I had to take some napkins to squeeze out the copious amount of butter that was on the shrimp. Not withstanding the unhealthy nature of it, and all the years I've had shrimp on a salad. I have never had something as strange as shrimp scampi as the topping for a salad. My son got the penne, vodka pasta. A dish he orders very regularly from restaurants. Like others have commented, it was very bland. The sauce did not stick. The bread that was included was the most basic uninspiring tasteless bread that could've been provided. For the record, I picked this place against my son's wishes. The ambience and reviews seemed like this was going to be a great restaurant. And while we were waiting for our food, I could not stop raving on the atmosphere and what appeared to be a great kitchen. However, obviously my experience was the polar opposite. With so many great restaurants around I would stay away.
