Stopped by here after a recommendation from the bartender at our hotel! Let's just say I was not disappointed. From the half door ordering, to the street eating this spot feels like an authentic pizza joint. The pizza was soo good, we got 3 slices per person (3 people) and they're so huge and honestly refired (I'm Guessing) just to perfection. It was so good we forgot to take pics of the slices. Service was quick and the atmosphere around the joint was immaculate. Attached a pic I took of coors field the next street over from Marquis because I forgot to take pics of the freaking pizza

Disclaimer: All pizza consumed here was always late night and after days spent at breweries and bar hopping. On a recent trip with the fellas, we stopped in here every night on the way back to our Airbnb. It is definitely a popular spot as there was always a line, especially if you come after last call. They sell pizza by the slice from a window from the side of the building. The employees are straight business and get them slices out quick. I'm sure it gets annoying selling to the late night crowd, but they handle it well. I've only came late night when the options are smaller and have only had the giant slice of pepperoni. The first night I went with one slice, but the second night my friends and I got lots of slices to take home. It reminds me of a New York style pizza. The crust was a perfect thickness and the cheese and pepperoni was just right. It travelled well too. I'm sure I'll be back when out and about on Larimer.

Humungous pepperoni pizza with mushrooms on a quarter of it.

I've been here on multiple occasions for a cheeky pizza slice even at times I'm trying to eat healthy. The slices are just so tasty! My fiance loves the New York Style pizza so it only encourages me to go more. Sadly, due to covid, there is no dining in which is unfortunate as the inside of this place is awesome! It looks like they used to have gigs or shows here. Would love to check that out one day. Regardless, I'm happy to walk by the front window and order a huge slice of pepperoni. Story: I went here late one night looking to grab two slices. They were closing up and I was asked if I wanted a whole pizza for $16. How could I say no?! Wow, I underestimated how big a full size pizza was. I could barely fit the leftovers in the fridge! Loved it.

Heaven found !!! Been looking for that greasy thin sliced pizza and I think I've found my new favorite pizza spot. Firstly , this spot is priced perfectly specially for legit downtown pizza . I'd say it's a whole in a wall as it's literally to go only when I walked in at 5 pm and the pizza is located in a theatre as if it was literally a hole in a wall haha ( I hope that makes sense ) So here's the thing , I didn't read the reviews before I found this spot , I was simply craving for pizza and being from the other side of town I just chose whatever was closest to me . I chose this because the phot itself was a pizza slice on Yelp front page and I was just looking for something cheap and fast. So why do I like this pizza ? It's becusse the thin crust was soooo legit I knew right away it was my type of pizza once I received it . The pizza was Huuuuugeeee but it was so good that I wish I had two slices . Although tbh , a slice would be way too much for anyone as these slices were GIGANTIC I tell you . Anyway , I'll be back for sure . * I think Dave portnoy has been here too . I'm not sure but check again ...

    Vegan calzone

No trip to Denver is complete without a stop at Marquis Pizza. Their BBQ seitan is what dreams are made of. And bro, they have vegan calzones. I get mine with mushrooms, bell peppers, BBQ seitan, and black olives. They use daiya cheese FYI. The calzone is pretty sizeable, but that doesn't stop me from devouring the whole goddamn thing. Marquis gets extra points for playing metal and having wicked stickers. They also stay open really late, but I'd recommend swinging by for lunch or an early dinner. It gets pretty crowded in the wee hours of the morning. The only downer is that they have extremely limited table space and no public restrooms. Hail seitan! YELP'S 2018 REVIEW CHALLENGE: #16

My name is Elvira and the pizza box had "mistress of the dark" written on it. Absolutely tickled to death. And the pizza was to die for too.

Marco's really delivers and almost has me feeling like I'm back in Naples - almost. The quality of ingredients is excellent and the pizzas are extremely well made. My personal favorites are: - MARGHERITA BUFALA MOZZARELLA (anytime there's an option for Bufala Mozz DO IT!) - WILLIAMSBURG (the pesto with honey drizzle perfectly offsets the pepperoni - a pie I could eat every day) The Calabrian wings with focaccia are also delicious. Actually, this spot is centrally located, on the edge of Uptown and Five Points, right between City Park and the Central Business District. There's also a nice parking lot. I ordered the Supreme with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and kalamata olives. I found it very average. I collected it promptly at the time specified, but the crust was very soggy and too droopy to pick up a slice. The toppings were OK, but nothing special. The amount of tomato sauce was a little light for my taste and it was very bland. The same with the cheese. I had heard good things about this place, but there is far superior pizza to be had in Denver these days. I was not impressed. The area is not well-lighted and it's kind of creepy at night. So is the building. The staff was friendly and they did bring me my takeout box promptly.

They said they only have 10 pans for pasta and they had 41 orders...at that point we just wanted to leave plus the lightest pasta was going to be served last. On top of that, the waiter while I was talking took my drink that was 40% full and I was saving it to go with my meal as I wasn't going to order a second cocktail. That was annoying and felt deliberate to try to get us to order more drinks while we waited.
