The Pizza Bar wasn't even on my radar. We were leaving a networking event a block away and I did a quick search for vegan options when this spot thankfully popped up in my search results. The menu is impressive, offering 7 signature vegan pizzas as well as a a build-your-own option. We were greeted immediately upon entry by a friendly guy. Not sure if he was the owner, but he had that vibe about him. I asked him for his top vegan recommendation, and he gave me his top two: Jalapeno Popper Pizza and Greek Pizza. The Jalapeno Popper Pizza sounded like the more unique one of the two which is what I ordered. In addition to marinara sauce and vegan cheese, it's also topped with fresh jalapenos, vegan pepperoni, and vegan cream cheese. The surprising element to this is the light swirl of raspberry sauce. It was quiet at first with few customers scattered near the bar. But within the next hour, many more customers came in for take out and dine-in. And the speakers started playing awesome reggae music. To be fair, by the time we got back to the hotel we were famished BUT the toppings had flavor, the cheese was plentiful and melty, and the crust held up well to the meat, cheese, veggies, and sauce (the pizza sauce was wonderful with these toppings). Good price as well. I would definitely seek this place out again.

Vegan review: Love this place! Sudeep, the owner, very generously talked us through all the vegan options and was incredibly welcoming to us. He even listed the vegan cheeses they use (follow your heart, and myiokos) and went to the back to bring us a shaker of vegan parmesean to top our pizza with. We ordered the Rockies Favorite Pizza and it was delicious. Loved the crust and the artichoke/arugula/creamy base combo was the perfect balance. There were another 4-5 vegan pizza options listed so we were excited to come back and try another round. Sudeep said his favorite on the vegan menu was the BBQ jackfruit pizza. We are really excited to return!

Went on a Friday afternoon. Place was muerta which made the Za's come out with the quickness. Got the Vegan Deluxe and a Meats pie. Super hot and fresh, great crispy bites and good ingredients. First time at the pizza bar tonight, and definitely not the last! Centrally located in Five Points, this place has outdone themselves. Here's what we ordered: 3 orders of Garlic Knots 18 inch garlic butter NY style pizza with pepperoni and banana pepper - delicious, recommend skipping the sauce and getting it on the side instead Cheese pizza Tiramisu - delicious The gluten free and vegan options are a plus! Pizza tasted okay but the slices were in shambles in the box. A few pieces upside down, overlapping, like someone purposefully messed with it. I heard they do this when you order past midnight. Something to keep in mind... hopefully they didn't spit on it too. I'd think it was a fluke but this has happened before to friends of mine. Rude thing to do to people paying for your pizza. read more

It's rare to find a knocked-it-out-of-the-park level vegan pizza in a non-veg restaurant, but The Pizza Bar did just that! I ordered the Vegan Jalapeno Popper Pizza (with v-pepperoni) from The Pizza Bar (via Ub3r 3ats) for a Saturday night treat. The crust was super thin, but the FLAVORS of the pie were outstanding! Though it didn't taste like a jalapeno popper, the jalapenos were fresh and spicy-definitely brought a nice kick to the profile. The cheese was melty, and the drizzle sauce was a Bronco-berry dupe. All incredibly delicious. I will definitely order from The Pizza Bar again! P.S. As Denver has a great 100% vegan place, Mora Pizza, I normally order from them. But they've been out of v-pepperoni for a while, and I was craving it. read more

I came to The Pizza Bar before I saw a Comedy show in the same building. I ordered a food item and the interaction between the bar tender and I was very limited. By the time I was done eating the comedy show was starting and I had to rush and pay since my boyfriend was in the middle of a conversation. I was expecting my boyfriend to give the bar tender a small cash tip.... BUT before there was time for that to even happen the bar tender confronted me in a passively aggressive way why i didn't tip and if i "just don't tip". I honestly can't remember all he said because I was so caught off guard and uncomfortable in the moment. But every one in there was caught off guard and silent and his energy was horrible. i apologize for the miscommunication and confusion in the situation... BUT no matter what, I would never speak to a customer that way. read more

Tbh- this place should be more expensive lol I feel like it's so cheap for downtown Denver. Food is all made in-house so the crust, sauce, all of it is so effing good. I understand that high grade matcha is expensive, but I am not a fan of how the drinks are priced. $10.70 after tax is more than what I would pay for a good matcha drink in the Bay Area. That being said, my drink was really good and I do want to come back here to try their other drinks.

It was a Thursday evening when we arrived at Pho 92, and the restaurant was packed. It was loud, with staff bustling about and patrons enjoying their meals. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again.
