Krave It was born in Queens and still operates multiple locations there. I don't know why they decided to be in Queens and Colorado but fuhgeddabodit thank the lord!!! They're making the dough, breading and frying the cutlets, and concocting creative, off-the-wall slices that are only possible with a few hits of Colorado grass. The end result is a plethora of flavors for the pizza purist or pizza adventurer. The test is a regular slice, meaning just cheese. From the first bite, I knew these guys were legit. Perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. The undercarriage is crispy, the slice doesn't flop, and the crust is absolutely insane (in the best possible way). The Angry Nonna sandwich blew me away on my first visit. Was I back in Brooklyn? I was legitimately in awe of discovering an east coast style sandwich that would rival anything in town. My new obsession is their Sicilian slice. It's not a regular cheese, but more of a Margherita with fresh tomato and basil. 11/10. The dough is light, airy, and fluffy. The tomatoes are fresh and bright. This slice in particular you can hardly find anywhere else in town!!! Krave It continues to impress. Authentic New York style pizza is tough to come by out here. This is my new local pizza spot! They always have such unique toppings to try and the vibes are great, with a bar and outdoor seating. Surprisingly my favorite thing might be the sandwiches however the pizza is to die for! The Alfredo one with the pasta on top was next level tasty. I like that you can get a full 8 slices of pizza but choose a few different types to take home. The only reason I took a star off is because I feel like everyone there is doing two jobs. They were hustling manning the front, getting the food, making pizzas and being the bar tender. So food took a little longer than anticipated. Definitely come and give it a try before a game or during a late night walk. Overall, 4.5/5 stars! read more

The spot definitely has a loud, energetic vibe if you are out on the town to party and grab a quick bite. I can see it being a great spot post-ballpark or to get late night food after clubbing. The chicken wings had good flavor, but were a bit cold and hard as a result. The variety of pizza is staggering and there is a lot of creativity. I had the China King which I didn't like. It was cold and too much sweet and sour sauce for my liking. The deep dish pepperoni with honey on it (I think it was called Red Devil) was very good. I would've like more red sauce, but the dough was delicious and so was the pepperoni. The sandwich I had was outstanding! It was beefy, cheesy goodness and the hoagie was soft and delicious! This week my wife and I went to Krave it Pizza for the first time during a yelp event. We got to try multiple appetizers and a few different slices of pizza. First off the ambiance of the restaurant is great. It is in a great location right next to Coors field in downtown. They have a great interior with cool designed chairs. The service was great, it is a small team of people who you can tell really care and love the food and experience. The owner talked to us and was super friendly and just wanting to share his story and food with people. We started with a chicken Philly cheese steak, a beef cheese steak, and chicken wings. Everything was so good and I was so happy to try so many different things to start with. The one that jumped out though was their regular cheese steak. It was perfectly cooked, the bread was perfect, the cheese steak had lots of cheese, and peppers and onions. For the slices I got a slice of cheese, and a slice with chicken, ranch, and cilantro. You can tell this pizza is from NYC as the dough is amazing, thin and super crispy and the sauce to cheese ratio is perfect. My wife got a slice of plain cheese and a Buffalo Mac and cheese slice. I took a bite of the Mac and cheese slice and it was super good but actually a little spicy. Overall I loved my experience at Krave it and will be recommending it to everyone I know. It is a perfect place to go to before or after a Rockies game. But if you are in downtown and want pizza I would say Krave might be the best option in town. read more

The best slice spot I've had in downtown Denver! The kitchen is a scratch kitchen. They have some of the best, fun creations for their slices! The amount of options is amazing. Delicious food and an even better staff. Krave it is certainly not your run of the mill pizza place. It legitimately has a warmth to it - family vibes, really delicious flavors in their pizza. I think the location may not be the best for this type of restaurant as it is right across from the ballpark and for sone reason I just feel like it would do better within a residential area. Either way the yelp event we went to was amazing. The chicken wings are flavorful. The pizza is better than most I've had if not all of Denver. Great food, wonderful staff & service (especially Megan & owner Harry), & ambiance is sports bar with full kitchen serving subs, pizza, wings, & beer. Sandwiches are large & served w/ chips. The Chico Suave is a hot sandwich where Mex & Philly Cheesesteak flavors collide. I got the jalapeño ranch on the side & I found the jalapeño taste subtle. Maybe menu rotates or website menu needs updating bc couldn't find their italian grinder sub called the Italiano. I tried the Chopped Father instead which, IMO, is where you take classic italian grinder meats & toppings, chop it all up, toss it in their Krave It chipotle-sauce, and serve as a sub - very tasty but an experience as cannot modify the ingredients. This location is kitty-corner to the baseball stadium which is such a cool factor! If you like inventive pizza options, Krave It is the place for you!! We came to try their birria pizza. Don't let the price tag sway you away. Yes, it is pricey, but it fed the 4 of us with only half the pizza and for those who don't know me, I love to eat and can put down the food. When we first entered, the staff welcomed us and explained the menu. When we decided to order the birria pizza, we were informed that it would take an hour to cook. That's fine, we didn't have any other plans. While waiting, we ordered some drinks from the bar and of course, those were delicious too. Once that birria pizza came out, we realized quickly exactly how large this pizza is. To eat one whole slice was a feat in itself. And their consume to dip the pizza in is heaven!! I recently visited Krave It Pizza after seeing it featured on Denver Food Scene's reel, and I'm so glad I did. This place is like a flavor playground with so many options and fusions. Their menu has everything from Indian- and Mexican-inspired pizzas to Italian classics and even Asian-style flavors. Plus, they've got wings and salads, so there's truly something for everyone. See it for yourself, you'll also be amazed! The Highlights: I tried tikka masala-inspired wings and an amazing brisket sandwich with caramelized onions, and both were fantastic. It was really hard for me to choose, I definitely recommend coming with a group or if you're flying solo planning to take left overs/visit the menu in segments. The creativity here is off the charts, and the staff were warm and welcoming. A special shout-out to Cass, my server -- she was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond. When they ran out of lemons, she brought me a mix of lime and orange slices plus a splash of lemon juice to make sure I still had something refreshing. That extra touch really stood out. A Few Hiccups: They had a huge catering order the day I visited, which meant the online ordering experience was not so smooth & I expressed that. Pizzas weren't available online when I ordered my meal to go so I just opted in for a sandwich and wings to go. When I arrived for my meal, I saw pizza in the window, asked to be seated, and asked about it--pizza was available in person if I was willing to wait around for them to be made and for pizzas to be available in the ordering portal again, estimated 45minutes to an hour. It also took a second for me and my dog to get seated on the patio cause the patio was locked when I arrived. & lastly (it's not a huge deal mostly mentioning to save others behind me from experiencing flat soda vibes) my Dr. Pepper was pretty flat. Honestly, though, these things felt more like temporary growing pains than anything serious. Overall: This place is already delivering on flavor and creativity, and once management smooths out a few operational kinks they're probably feeling from their viral posts, it's going to be a must-visit spot. Both were fantastic, but the mac & cheese pizza and the Don Julio slice were my favorites which was creative and surprisingly balanced. Stopped in for late lunch yesterday before the Rockies game. What a convenient location, you have to pass it to get into the stadium!! It's right on the intersection of Blake and 22nd. So get here early and grab a slice or one of their delicious sandwiches. I was greeted immediately upon walking in with smiles from the workers and I appreciated how they gave me the time to decide on my slices without rushing me despite being a busy time for them. The place was clean, tables sturdy and chairs comfortable. I loved the aesthetic they were going for whether it's a quick sit down bite or catching a full game at the establishment with all the TVS/screens around. I opted out for a drink this visit but the bar area looked like a nice place to catch up with some friends. They serve beers and cocktails with a pretty solid liquor selection. The menu is extensive to choose from and the best part is if they don't have a particular pizza which catches your eye already made they'll have a fresh one made within 15 mins. I tried the Mr. H slices which were baked to perfection. The undercarriage was evenly browned and the right amount of chewy and crispy and despite it being loaded up on toppings and sauces there was no flop! My husband tried one of their sandwiches and before I got to even take any pictures it was almost finished he ordered the angry nonna which is their chicken cutlet with marinara with a burrata spread. I tried a bite of his sandwich and every bite was packed with flavor which blew me away. It was the perfect balance of crunch to the bread without it getting soggy from the sauce. I'm from NY and this place is as close as it gets to NY style pizza in the area which already speaks volumes. I've been dying to try this place after seeing photos and reviews online. I am paralyzed in a wheelchair, and rolled a great distance to get to this restaurant, so my shoulders and arms were exhausted, only to find out that they have locked their only accessible entrance, and would not pick up the phone when I called the restaurant to ask if someone could please let me in. I don't know how they're able to get away with locking up the only entrance a wheelchair can access, (but even if it was unlocked, they've got a dozen other obstacles in the way, still restricting access). it looked like all of the items a restaurant would normally put in storage. To deny access to people with disabilities is a violation of federal law (ADA). This is a modern building, so they do not have a historical landmark exception. Keeping the gate locked to prevent people in wheelchairs from eating at your restaurant is just brutal. Even worse was rolling all the way home on an empty stomach. read more

I do not do a lot of reviews but when I feel that you are charging me a high price for a low quality food, I have to say something. I ordered the chicken Parmesan sub. Your bread is perfect for your subs. Where I have an issue is that the sub I ordered had chicken strips that you could tell that it had been previously cooked and held cold. When bitting into the sub I had some cold strips and I also had some very very dry pieces. For the price that you are charging the chicken should be cook fresh. As a restaurant consultant I always tell the owners that you are only as good as you last meal served and this sub got me far away from craving it again. Husband is from NY and we loved Ian's, so we had high hopes for this place. They have a lot of kinks to work out still. Got there at noon (an hour after opening), there was one pizza out for slices. Ordered, and they said it would be 15 minutes as they were currently making one of the pizza slices we ordered, which we were fine with. Didn't take our name, just said to sit, and they'd bring them to us. There were like 3 tables with people, so not incredibly busy. While waiting it picked up and a decent number of tables had people. They tried to give us other people's food 3 different times. After 30 minutes waiting, we still didn't have our food. We asked about our order because most of the people that came after us had already gotten their food. It was another 5-10 minutes before we got our food. The slice we were waiting on to be made was cold with burnt crust. The other slices were just warm. Two other things to note, the tables are so close together people were either walking sideways to get through or walking around because there want enough room to comfortably get through. Second, the guy at the table next to us got up (I assume to complain) and walked back a couple minutes later carrying their sandwiches they were waiting for. read more
