I haven't been here in apparently four years. At least that was my last review. I was looking for a place to eat and drove through the Lowry area and this establishment caught my eye. As usual it feels like a neighborhood bar and grill as most of the patrons seemed to know the bartenders. They have a large mural of Lowry when it was an army base in their back room as well. Surprisingly they have a full bar. Even with the large ice cubes for the old fashioned. I had an Italian sub and ceaser salad while there. Both were good and to go i bought a pizza to have later at home. Once home I couldn't resist but to tear into the pizza and of course it was good like I remember. Best of all they give a military discount. read more

This place is amazing. I have gone to so many events that have ordered from this place and have never once been disappointed. I can not speak to the staff or ambiance but every pizza variety is done well with a flavorful crust. Our go-to for parties! read more

Walters 303 is always a guilty pleasure. Great pizza restaurant with very chill vibes. They made ordering from their massive tap menu easier with a QR code but I have been conditioned to let the TV with the beer taps entice me to order. I ALWAYS love their Kihei special and the Big Fizz and I have yet to find any person I have brought who didn't agree that Walter's has the best wings. Lastly, as a person who does not like sweets too much, I was surpised on how much I LOVE thier chocolate cookie. Although personally, I go to Walters for the pizza, wings, beer and cookie only, give it a visit! Its worth it! read more

Absolutely vile and disgusting. Pretty sure the pizza was pre frozen and "warmed". The rubber horrible cheese. The meat that I fear may cause food poisoning and the soggy, flimsy tasteless crust all make for 1 star. It really should get a zero. It was heavily salted and had some weird Italian "flavoring". Inedible. If anyone thinks this is good pizza, they need to widen their tastings. Save your money. Don't eat this. read more

I hate writing bad reviews, and I rarely do, but I really did not enjoy this place. Breadsticks literally taste like rolled out crescent rolls with no seasoning. Pizza is extremely thin. Not like NY style thin, like thin crust cracker-esque. Really disappointed and would not return read more

Great place for families! They have a nice kids section with games and drawing, which keeps the little ones entertained. The pizzas are really good with high-quality toppings. My only issue is that they only offer spicy marinara sauce and don't have a regular tomato sauce option for kids who don't like spice. The staff is very nice, and the place is always clean. read more

First time at Walter's. Great overall experience. Got to sit at a high top in the bar which was cozy. The service was very personable. Had the Ryman "Nashville hot" traditional crust pizza well done-on the Special menu. Had perfect amount of toppings, great flavors and the crust was to die for! Will be back for sure. read more

I love everything at Walter's that does not have their spicy red sauce on it! They know how to make delicious pizza crust in different thicknesses, and it is PERFECT! The toppings are fresh and tasty. I am from NJ and do not like spicy Italian food, but Denver residents seem to love it. Walter's is within walking distance of my house, and I would be there every week if I could get a pizza with delicious marinara sauce with no spice. I also would love to take my family, but they don't care for spicy pizza either, especially the young kids. I have worked with Ken, the manager, and he is very nice and helpful. I have spoken to the owner years ago about the spicy sauce, and he told me that "everyone" loves it. Well, not everyone! The service is always fast and efficient. The staff is kind and helpful. I love the indoor seating. There is a bar area, a back room, and a main dining area with plenty of seating. There is also an outdoor patio. Parking is plentiful on the street or in the back parking lot. The noise level has never been a problem when trying to speak with your fellow diners. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. I would give Walter's 5 STARS if they had a choice of non-spicy and spicy sauce, just like they have a choice of crusts. PLEASE!!!! read more

Food was great I am happy we found another pizza place. Tiny bit loud but the roll up doors were closed due to the rain that came in. Definitely going back again read more

I catered an event using Walter's 303. I ordered 1 gluten free, 1 cauliflower and 13 regular crust pizzas. I had "common" (i.e. cheese or pepperoni) and specialty pizzas. I also ordered lasagna (both meat and veggie), meatball trays, and salads. I worked directly with Trent. He went the extra mile for me in a few different ways. The guests loved the food. I received many compliments on it. I personally had the meatballs and the cauliflower crust pizza with mushrooms. They were both delicious. The person who needed the gluten free crust, enjoyed that pizza as well. If you are looking for pizza and other dishes for an event. I highly recommend Walter's 303. read more

Always dependable food, I usually do takeout b/c I live a block away. Nice folks, too. You can't go wrong with any of the specialty pies, and the lasagne is good , too. read more

Amazing pizza as always . Love this place. You have to try their sandwich's too. They have great service and great food .

I live right near Walter's, and I've eaten there at least 10 times. I can't think of a single thing to complain about. The pancakes are as good as IHOP's. The pizza is as good as any of the pizza chains. Good place to watch sports on their TV's. Very good! read more

Another fun round of Chicago deep dish pizza and beer. What a great selection of on tap beers to have and interesting cider too. Service is friendly and knowledgeable and suggestions for a great meal were offered up too. We have had Walters delivered several times and it is always amazing. We have had the lasagna, toasted ravioli, chocolate chip cookie, The BOM (is the bomb) and the one with all of the meat. All so good, even delivered. We need to go to the restaurant because I can only imagine how great their food right out of the oven. read more

Pizza was very dry this time around, very little sauce. Should have probably sent it back, they also changed happy hour to 3-6.

I came in tonight to get some take out pizza for the family and oh man! I forgot what a cool atmosphere and fun vibe this place has. It really gives "local pizza hangout place" as soon as you walk in the door. A bonus: you aren't ignored by a bunch of "over it" teenagers, instead you are greeted by friendly and welcoming adults which says a lot. I've been here before, plenty of times (dined-in, carried out, and sat at the bar for drinks with a friend-my fave!) but this is my first review. We ordered the BOM pizza and the deep dish with just cheese. Yummy and well prepared as usual. The sauce has just a bit of kick to it but you won't hear us complaining. Be aware that you have to ask for the deep dish to be cut if you are carrying out. The food is so so good and the service is wonderful. Can't wait to return!! read more

Top 5 pizza in the Denver area. I've been to Walter's at least 10 times in the last few years, and it never disappoints. Whether takeout or delivery, their crust/dough is great, they have a heavy hand with toppings, and everything always tastes fresh. Fave pies are The Big Fizz (supreme) and Mile High Meat (meat-lovers) -- and don't sleep on the Oven-Baked Wings (try the Italian-style Buffalo sauce). read more

Can't say enough about this place. The food and service is always spot on. My go to place for pizza and beer.

We are regulars on Fridays and absolutely love their pizza! The crust is dialed and super consistent. We start off with either the Italian or Greek Salad and their dry rub wings. Lots of delicious toppings to choose from and a bunch from local suppliers. Staff are super friendly and provide excellent service. Huge craft beer list! Their manager, Ken helped correct a small mistake that we made on our end and even gave us a discount on the bill! Highly recommend this spot! read more

I've driven by this place for a long time but never gave it a thought. My work treated us all with DoorDash gift cards today and thought it would be a good idea to try something new. The pictures of the pizza had me drooling but since I haven't found a good calzone in Denver figured I'd try one. It was AMAZING! First off it is massive. I haven't seen a calzone as big as this one. It was stuffed full of cheese and I also added tomatoes, sausage, and the caramelized onions. I had both marinara and a butter garlic sauce to dip it in. I might finally have to check out this place in person. Can't wait to try a pizza! read more

Good s$&!. Ceasar salad is the bomb! The pizza is in my top 5. Beer choices are great. Service is fantastic! Chicago style pizza...fake and sloppy. Here with a group, was only supposed to be 5 of us, well it ended up being 10. Our waiter Robbie was very accommodating and moved us to a small room where we all able to sit together. Then they brought our a Yeti for some photo oops. At our table we had a mixture of calzones, lasagna, pizza, and the free breadsticks for checking in. They know how to handle of group very well. Separate checks no issue. Great and friendly staff. Constantly checking on us. Stop by, be sure to check in on Yelp for your free breadsticks with pizza purchase. This place was Hella cool. The lady tonight at pickup was super funny and very cool. The vibe in the place was legit and so was the pizza.

I didn't look this business up before ordering (which is rare for me) and I was not disappointed. OhEmGee! Even the delivery guy from door dash told me this is the best pizza in Denver and he was not lying. This pizza literally had my mouth watering. I ordered the largest size pizza, for myself since I eat a lot and I have basically demolished half of the pizza. Now many may wonder why did I choose this location without looking at the reviews. Honestly the pictures on DoorDash sold me. I read the descriptions of the food and had a hard time choosing but I settled on the 16in mile high meat....... Y'all it is so savory and delicious! This pizza joint is definitely worth a try. Whether you are picking it up or pulling a me and ordering from a third party, it is well worth every penny! So take my advice and set your taste buds on fire ! read more

I've been meaning to leave a review for Walter's for sometime now... Shame on me for taking so long! I love Walters, I've never gotten anything I didn't like here. I usually build my own pizza, but today I decided to try one of their house specialty pies. I am so glad I did! I got the crazy chicken "employee style" (With buffalo and garlic ranch sauce) and it was awesome! I do wish they delivered on their own because the one downside is if I want it delivered, I have to go through DoorDash or Uber eats and it's always cold by the time it gets to me. When delivered, I usually just pop it in the oven to warm it or crisp up the crust in my cast-iron skillet! read more
