    Eggplant rollatini

Things have changed here since our last visit so an update is in order! First of all the pizzas are still so well made, entirely fresh and yummy, with a crispy yet soft crust. Don't ask me how that's possible, just try it and you'll understand! We also got the garlic knots. They are perfect. Soft and fluffy, a hint of chewy, and the best part: not too oily or garlicky at all! The eggplant rollatini is big enough for a meal or for several people to share as an appetizer, which is what we did. It is wonderfully cooked, contains ricotta and fresh, not frozen, spinach, then topped with their delicious and not-too-sweet sauce. We got our order to go like we usually do. There are a few tables inside, but it's a small space so I'm sure they fill quickly during peak times. Our order took around 15-20 minutes; very reasonable and worth the wait! Get here quick and check out their terrific menu and warm, friendly service.

A very Intimate little Italian Restaurant in Aurora. Very welcoming. It was already almost full at 5:00 when I walked in. I was seated right away, as there was one table left. The waitress indicated many delicious options. I ordered the Lasagna, $18, which was hot and Outstandingly Delicious, (see photo). The food is Always Made Fresh for every customer the garlic knots were tasty, but small. I also ordered a glass of Riesling, 6 ozs for $11, which was very good. For Dessert I had the Tiramisu $8.98, which was delicious, but incredibly tiny (see photo), which for that much money I felt it was overpriced. All in All, I would definitely go back and skip the wine and dessert. They are also taking over the Monaco Inn, which just closed in October, and will open up in November. This location is on Monaco, a little south of Leetsdale.

Very Friendly!! I agree with all of the reviews. The staff is very nice! Such a cozy dining area too. The outside definitely does not match the inside. Great selection of food and drinks, to include Barone Fini Merlot.

The wait staff was sooooo welcoming and kind. I broke my water glass and was treated like it wasn't even my fault. Wanted to add chicken to my special - no problem at all. Nothing but accommodating and warm. Fresh flowers everywhere. Pretty blue ceiling and charming lights fixtures make you forget you're in a strip mall off a busy street. What you can see of the kitchen is impeccable. The effort and commitment is crystal clear The smells!!!! The food was outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, perfect temp. The only ding is that they should deodorize the floor drain in the restroom. Otherwise it was spotless.

Amazing! The staff is very kind, a well owned nearby restaurant for anytime you have a craving. The servings are fulfilling and delicious. The restaurant itself is calm and friendly, small but well maintained. -ordered to go

We ordered pickup. We got wings and a large pizza. The pizza was HUGE!!! I could only eat one slice after I ate some wings. I like the cheese and the sauce flavor. Very good. It's thin crust. The wings had a ton of buffalo sauce on them. The breading was a little mushy but I still liked them. We'll definitely be ordering pizza here again!

We stopped by Pomodoro on our way home from the airport. It's located in a strip mall and we were pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was. The restaurant is simple indoors and very clean. The lady that helped us was so friendly and helpful. We ordered the fried ravioli and garlic knots as appetizers and both were really good. The marinara sauce was well balanced and no spice was overpowering. My husband had the lasagna and it was delicious. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and added chicken and mushrooms... and it was phenomenal. The chicken was spiced simply abut plentiful and so tender... it paired well with the Alfredo sauce that had some sort of magic mixed in because it was so tasty. There were plenty of mushrooms too! I would highly recommend stopping by here for a meal!

We were blown away by every part of this meal. Eating every bite and reflecting on it for this review has been an absolute pleasure. The restaurant is modest, just six tables in all. If there is a wait, please stick it out and you won't be disappointed. You enter into an intimate dining room with a homey charm and fresh aroma. The menu has such a variety of traditional Italian dishes that I didn't know what to order, so I asked the owner. She proudly suggested the Chicken Parmigiana so I stuck with that while my brother ordered the Chicken Carbonara. He wanted to remove the peas from his dish and they were easily accommodating because everything is made from scratch freshly after it is ordered. It was just a few cooks, the host, and the owner. A simple operation that was incredibly effective. Our waters were refilled constantly. Not by the host, but by the observant and incredible owner. Everyone in this establishment did all they could do to ensure we got the most out of our meals. The honor they seemed to get from sharing their authentic dishes and experience with us was palpable and we are so appreciative of it. Right when we thought the experience couldn't get any better, the food arrived... Nearly speechless. The elegance of these classics was breathtaking. Every bite was clean and there were so many bites to have. I almost can't believe how much food they brought out for such a reasonable price. Both of our dishes came with beautifully cooked pasta, two succulent chicken breasts, and homemade garlic knots to share. All for under $50. It's a rare occasion that my brother and I don't both finish our meals and are still hungry right after. Although he wanted to finish, he took a few bites home knowing how satisfied he had been with dinner and how much he could savor a few more bites as leftovers. The best meal I've had in Colorado this summer and I cannot recommend it enough!

    Penne alla vodka

My favorite penne vodka in the whole WORLD. And I used to work at an Italian restaurant. The pizza is also phenomenal. The staff is always so kind. This is always my go-to dinner spot when I land in Denver after a trip away. I've now been here 6+ times and I've loved everything I've tried.

I ordered the garlic knots, Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parm, and Shrimp Scampi to go. You definitely get your money's worth and they all tasted amazing. They even threw in extra garlic knots and some free sodas. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

Delicious, authentic Italian food here with a cute atmosphere and very fast and friendly services. The other reviews were correct about the delicious garlic knots. Prices are reasonable too, I have to come back to try a cannoli!

We lived in Colorado for 18 years and moved out of state over the summer. During our time in…read moreColorado, we were always so pleased by the food prepared and served at C'Amore. Tonight, three months after leaving the state, I had a chance to dine in while visiting family. As always, the calamari was spot on and we enjoyed chicken Parmesan, a calzone and tiramisu. However, I have to add some comments about an event we witnessed tonight, which is a testament to the professionalism of the staff. A couple came in to pick up their take out order. They were informed that the bread wasn't ready. Customers don't pay for bread that is automatically brought out for anyone eating an entree. The couple acted confused. Said the bread wasn't on their receipt and they wanted to be comped a dessert! The staff repeated that the bread is free with meals, so it never appears on receipts and they'd just need to wait until it was done baking. They complained that their food would get cold (waiting 2 minutes for free bread) and that's why they deserved more...like a free dessert. The stupidity and entitlement of these people! The staff never said an unkind word. It occurred to me after witnessing this that most people, if they enjoy a restaurant, just keep giving our business....but we don't normally write reviews. Like, I may be guilty of this. I enjoy something and I write nothing. However, if an experience is perceived as negative, we are quicker to write about it. I just could not believe this couple wanting free dessert or whatever because bread that they didn't pay extra for wasn't ready when they came for their take out order. How do mom and pop businesses even survive when the profit margin is so slim in the current economy? C'Amore is a great local restaurant for a date night or a family outing. Period.

We are so impressed after our first visit…read more Attentive staff! We had menus in our hands just after sitting down. Waitress brought us water quickly and ask about drinks. She asked if we had questions about menu items, answered our questions clearly, told us about the specials and their prices. Appetizer of calamari was perfectly cooked with ample amount provided. Entrees came out in proper time just as we finished the calamari. AND she took our used plates away rather than them sitting around. Chicken entrees were so good but i cant find it on the online menu. A fair portion and a fair price. Waitress came back twice to ask if we needed anything and were happy with our choices. She brought the water pitcher each time as well. When another waitress took away my wife's finished entree plate (after asking if she would like it taken away), both the wife and I smiled at how this is how wait staff should be: helping out other staff's table by Picking up used plates and noting any needs by customers. This place was such a pleasant experience and we look forward to our next visit!

Food solid! Service? Can be polished a bit…read more This experience of mine is based on the takeout/pick up order I placed yesterday. I saw the ratings by others beforehand. Solid (almost) 4.5 star appeared very promising. It was a way to kick start my celebratory mood for Thursday. Before I would consume a lot of turkey and the side, I was in the mood for a good Italian. It had to be some place that I hadn't utilized in the past. So I did a quick search on Yelp like I always do. Cucina Bella was one of the restaurants in said search. Close enough from my home. After placing several items online, it gave me a window of opportunity for 15-16 minutes before it would be ready. After about 25 minutes later my order had been placed I was finally at the restaurant. Before I stepped in, I did my ritual: take some photos of the exterior. My anticipation was growing stronger. Once I was inside I took a few more photos of the interior. It was way past the busy lunch hour; there were only a few to several tables occupied by the diners. Then there appeared a female worker who had this staunch straight face with no warm smile or anything. "Hi, how can I help you?" To which I said, "I am here for my pick up order." having a warm smile on my face. I could easily tell that the one brown bag that was sitting on the bar appeared to be my food. She then asked, "What's the name?" in a blunt voice to which I stated my name. She grabbed the bag and handed it to me with the same cold look on her face with "Have a nice day." LOL! Well, at least she greeted me upon arrival and saw me off wishing me to have a good day so I can easily conclude that she wasn't rude or anything. My frank input though is that her customer service can be a bit polished? As soon as I got to my car and started driving, I was crossing my fingers (in my mind only; don't cross your fingers and drive!! LOL!) that the food was delicious. At least that's the most important thing after all. I had a sigh of relief at home. The meatballs (app), sausage and peppers (app) and the side crostini were all solid dishes. None of them were disappointing in any way. Although the meatballs weren't the best ones I've had (I can think of other similar Italian restaurants in Denver where they make/serve better meatballs), the overall seasonings that they used in them were pleasantly appropriated. Not too salty and yet no blandness was detected. The sausage and peppers were great especially on the crostini; $2.50 for the kind of portion is/was very friendlily priced despite the tough economy. Well, I can give this place a solid 3star based on everything I experienced. And yes, I will definitely consider utilizing them again in the future.

It was hands down the best thing we had and some of the other items we ordered were amazing too. If you're going to order anything here, do the burrata with the focaccia bread. You can thank me later. Next up, we had the carpaccio and crudo with caviar. If I had to choose only one, I would pick the carpaccio but the crudo with caviar is great. Freddie recommended the crudo with caviar and what a wonderful harmony of flavors. These were both standout winners. And the carpaccio meat was incredibly soft. Best carpaccio I've ever had, and I love carpaccio. Last, we had the paglia e fieno (rabbit ragu) and branzino. The branzino was the item I was most excited to try leading to our reservation and it was the item I liked the least. I am a huge branzino fan and order it any place that has it. This was probably my least liked branzino I have had. The olive sauce was just way too strong for this fish. The fish itself was beautiful but I couldn't get past the sauce. I would pass on this, even if you like olives. The rabbit ragu really surprised me and it was my 3rd favorite thing we ordered. I would definitely order that again. We passed on dessert since we were full and nothing sounded too good. We did valet at the hotel next door. I immediately told my friends this was one of the best Denver restaurants we've had. The service was outstanding too. Freddie had the best recommendations and took great care of us.

We were seating in the middle of the dining room, which was fine with us. The vibe is def cozy chic, which we found welcoming . SERVICE: I had booked reservations in advance, as Happy Hour here is a major hit. The friendly hostess seated us and our server followed shortly behind her. She was friendly, attentive, provided some good recommendations and was pleasant all around! SIPS: While our friend opted for a glass of wine, my husband stuck with water, while I looked at their mocktail menu. The options are limited, but available for a fun treat. I opted to try the "Little Kiss" which was a mixture of grapefruit, sparkling soda, and cranberry. The flavors were on point for the holiday season and tasted refreshing. I will admit, the glass it came in was a turn off. It was like a normal draft size class, which made me feel like I was about 9 years old. Bummer. Otherwise, there are plenty of options for drinkers alike - beer, wine, cocktails, you name it, they have it! SUSTENANCE: The food!! This spot is known for their rustic Italian and woodfired creations - and the menu is fire. I asked for some bread and oil to start - because that sounded divine. It came out quickly and was a nice intro to the meal. My friend opted for the Pasticcio - aka meatballs, three cheese tortellini, slow braised Bolognese, herby pomodoro, bechamel and parm brulee - which he found to be fantastic! It came with more bread, which was perfect for dipping. My friend got a kick out of the presentation as well - in a cast little iron cauldron! I chose the Seafood Pasta - a special of the night. I'll admit, I was a bit disappointed in my meal - as it was a mixture of squid, shrimp, scallops and other - in a red sauce. Not what I was expecting with seafood, but always down to try new things. The seafood flavor overpowered the dish - which made it hard to finish. I opted not to take it home. My husband noshed on the Brasato - Barolo wine slow braised angus short rip, creamy polenta and gremolata - which was DIVINE. The meat was SO tender, delicious and took on the rich wine flavor, perfect over potatoes! YUM! The pizza stood out to me as well, but considering Cattivella is classy, I opted for other.
