    Pappardelle Bolognese

Nonna's Italian Bistro is one of those places that immediately feels inviting. Even though it's a large restaurant, the cozy décor, the friendly staff make it feel intimate and comfortable perfect for a family meal. We kicked things off with garlic knots and they were fantastic. Crispy on the outside, warm, fluffy, and drenched in garlic butter and topped with parmesan. For my entrée, I went with Nana's chicken parmesan. The chicken breast was perfectly cooked, topped with fresh mozzarella and served with a bright, flavorful house pomodoro. The linguini and seasonal vegetables made it a well-balanced and satisfying plate. My wife ordered the pappardelle bolognese and it was outstanding. The sauce was rich and hearty, made with sausage and Colorado ground chuck, paired perfectly with the wide pappardelle pasta. Finished with parmesan, it tasted like something straight out of a family kitchen. The kids had buttered pasta and surprisingly the portions were the same size as a regular entree. Finished with some vanilla gelato, Oreo ice cream and bread pudding. Amazing! Excellent food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. Nonna's lives up to its name and is a place we'll happily return to.

Que Bella! What an amazing meal at an amazing restaurant. From the entrance, it felt more like eating at grandma's than eating out. Small, quaint, family atmosphere. The food is made with love and begs you to finish every single bite. Nonna may even be there to greet you! Live music on the weekends. For the win: Start with a beautiful Tuscan Chianti or Barolo, calamari, arrabiata, and tiramisu for dessert!

Such a lovely spot and perfect for a date night. Prices on the menu are so very reasonable! The Brussels sprout appetizer was amazing, the meatball on the spaghetti was the perfect mix of beef, pork, and veal, and the gnocchi velvety smooth. Our server was very attentive and friendly.

Yummmmmm!!! The pasta was excellent and you can taste the difference of the fresh pasta. Service was great too. I got a Greek salad to die for. The dressing was perfectly balanced. I'd give 5 stars but the wine prices were too steep. The live music was excellent!

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!! I planned my Mom's 70th birthday party here. There were 9 of us which meant that there was an auto grat of 20%. But because of that, the server, Michaela, practically ignored us and only attended to her other customers. When she finally greeted us to ask for our order, we still hadn't gotten menus. All we did have was preset water, which is a health code violation. The table next to us was seated later and had their food and to go boxes before we received our drinks. I was seated in view of the bar and saw our beverage order waiting to be delivered. Several staff members were idle. And the manager was attending to an older lady drinking at the end of the bar. When the drinks arrived after 20 minutes, snarky Michaela said "well it's not my fault that somebody called out!" Well, who's fault was it when all of the food came out cold? When the bill came, I contested the 20% automatic tip and snarky said "I'm not having this conversation!" She walks away and in comes the owner. It was the old lady drinking at the end of the bar! I calmly explained my experience and she basically called me a liar. All I wanted was to adjust the auto grat (which she didn't know that term) to 15% but she defended her rude staff and inefficient management after ruining a very special occasion. She was unapologetic and extremely combative. And most certainly unprofessional. And the food wasn't great either. It was bad and some people got sick. I wish we'd gone to Olive Garden. Check out my pics of her yelling at me.

It was super busy for Christmas Eve but we didn't wait long to be seated for our reservation. Food was tasty. The holiday margarita was certainly festive sparkling in a glass ornament. There was a singer performing Christmas songs. He was pretty good. It wasn't super loud. We could still hold a conversation. All in all a great way to spend Christmas Eve.

There's thankfully parking in front and around the back in lots. One of the highlights is their charcuterie boards - we ordered one last time and it was packed full of goodies: meats, cheeses, cornichons, olives, nuts, fruit, etc. Really well thought out. We did consider coming back here recently for our friend's birthday but apparently if you try to make a reservation for over 6 people you have to PAY per person - that's a little ludicrous. I understand a party of 50 and charging some fee, but to charge for a small party is a way to not get party business. I would likely come back here as it is a nice central location and has a nice patio though.

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.

The menu offers a variety of items and what we ordered was delizioso, I really enjoyed the Artichoke and Hummus starter which gave all at our table a taste of the unique way it was prepared. Very good and reminded me alot of the prep when we visited Italy. The Seabass was fresh and cooked to perfection and the Scallops on a bed of Risotto was amazing. No complaints from anyone at our table and the portions were perfect. Megan then brought a display of today's Dolce which all looked amazing, we ordered a variety and sampled them all. Unique little tasty bites that were just enough to satisfy the sweet tooth. Seasons 52 offers a great wine list and cocktails as well as beers.
